Description
The present invention relates to a corrosion inhibitor added to an alkaline cleaning liquid, and more particularly to an additive for suppressing corrosion, pitting corrosion, and discoloration of a metal substrate in an alkaline cleaning liquid.
Conventionally, alkali cleaning has been performed for surface treatment, cleaning, and the like of metals such as aluminum and aluminum alloys. However, when an alkaline cleaning solution is used, there is a problem that it causes not only dirt and the like attached to the metal surface, but also adverse effects such as corrosion, hydrogen embrittlement, and pitting corrosion on the metal substrate.
Therefore, for the purpose of suppressing or preventing such harmful effects, phosphoric compounds such as orthophosphoric acid, polyphosphoric acid, organic phosphonic acid and phytic acid; silicic acid compounds such as sodium metasilicate and sodium orthosilicate; citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, Hydroxycarboxylic acids such as lactic acid, gluconic acid, heptogluconic acid, salicylic acid, gallic acid and tannic acid; polyhydroxyphenols such as catechol and pyrogallol; monosaccharides such as glucose, fructose, galactose and mannose; maltose, sucrose, cellobiose, lactose, Disaccharides such as trehalose; sugar alcohols such as glycerin, sorbitol, xylitol; alkali metal salts or amine salts of organic acids such as benzotriazole, tolyltriazole, mercaptobenzothiazole; molybdic acid, Tungsten acid, alkali metal salts or ammonium salts of metal oxyacid such metavanadate; etc. Various corrosion inhibitors have been studied.
As such a corrosion inhibitor for an alkaline cleaning solution, for example, Patent Document 1 discloses a compound synthesized from a sodium salt of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole or a sodium salt of nuclear-substituted 2-mercaptobenzothiazole and a halogenated carboxylic acid. Patent Document 2 describes the use of sodium silicate as an aluminum dissolution inhibitor and the use of ammonium molybdate, ammonium phosphate or the like as a corrosion inhibitor (Patent Document 2 ([0021] [0028] to [0030])).

About 150 ml of each metal cleaning agent, it adjusted to pH13.0 using sodium hydroxide. The metal cleaning liquid after pH adjustment was put into a glass bottle with a capacity of 200 ml and adjusted to 20 ° C.
After immersing the test piece prepared above in these metal cleaning solutions for 15 minutes, the corrosion weight loss was measured by the following formula. In addition, the state of discoloration on the surface of the test piece after the test is visually confirmed, and “◎” indicates that there is no discoloration, “○” indicates that the color is slightly discolored, and “×” indicates that the color is clearly discolored. It was evaluated. Further, the gloss state of the surface of the test piece after the test was visually confirmed, and the glossy one was evaluated as “◯” and the one with no gloss was evaluated as “x”.
Corrosion weight loss = mass before test-mass after test
Cleaning solution No. Nos. 1 to 6 are cleaning liquids No. 1 to which no corrosion inhibitor was added. Compared to 7, corrosion weight loss is reduced.
In addition, the cleaning liquid No. 1, the high corrosion inhibitory effect is obtained with only calcium gluconate. As shown in Fig. 2, calcium gluconate and calcium glycolate are used in combination, or As in the case of Nos. 3 to 5, by using an alkali metal salt of an aminopolycarboxylic acid, an alkali metal salt of a hydroxycarboxylic acid, or an alkali metal salt of an organic phosphonic acid, the cleaning liquid No. It was revealed that the corrosion inhibiting effect and the discoloration state of the metal were improved more than 1.
Cleaning solution No. In FIG. 6, calcium ascorbate was not very good in the stability of the aqueous solution, but the corrosion inhibiting effect and the metal surface state were also very good.
Cleaning solution No. Nos. 8 to 19 are cleaning liquid Nos. Rather than the case of No 7 addition of corrosion inhibitor, the corrosion weight loss increased. In all cases, the dipped metal was not glossy. In addition, the cleaning solution No. 1 using an alkali metal (sodium) salt of sugar acid was used. 13, cleaning solution No. 1 using gallic acid which is hydroxycarboxylic acid 14, the corrosion weight loss is as large as 60 mg / 50 cm 2 or more. Compared with these, it can be seen that the corrosion-inhibiting effect by using the alkaline earth metal salt of hydroxycarboxylic acid is very excellent.
It has been clarified that the calcium salt of hydroxycarboxylic acid has a high corrosion inhibitory effect on aluminum and aluminum alloys in the highly alkaline region. In particular, calcium gluconate has high solubility in a high alkali region, and when used in combination with calcium glycolate, a high corrosion inhibitory effect could be exhibited. In addition, the combined use of calcium gluconate, sodium tartrate, and aminopolycarboxylic acid-type chelating agents such as sodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid improves the stability of the cleaning solution. It was possible to maintain a good metal surface state while maintaining gloss.
The corrosion inhibitor for alkaline cleaning liquid of the present invention can be used in an alkaline cleaning liquid used for cleaning aluminum and aluminum alloys.
