Description
本発明は、米国特許法119条(e)項の下で、2008年11月19日出願の米国仮特許出願第61/116,121号、名称「Dynamic, Reduced-Pressure Treatment System and Method(動的減圧治療システムおよび方法)」の利益を主張するものであり、これは総ての目的のため参照により本書に組み込まれる。
Claims (15)
- 患者の組織部位を治療する動的減圧治療システムを製造する方法において、当該方法が:
前記組織部位と隣接して配置するためのマニホルドであって、減圧を前記組織部位に分配するよう機能するマニホルドを形成するステップと;
前記患者の表皮に接続するためのシール部材であって、前記マニホルドを覆ってシール部材と前記組織部位の間に流体シールを形成するよう機能するシール部材を提供するステップと;
減圧を生成するための減圧源を提供するステップと;
第1の管腔及び第2の管腔を具える、前記減圧源から前記マニホルドに減圧を送達するための減圧送達部材を提供するステップと;
前記第1の管腔に液体流動を、前記第2の管腔に気体流動を提供するために液体が前記第2の管腔に侵入するのを実質的に防ぐよう構成された液体不透過性かつ気体透過性の部材を用いて、前記第2の管腔から前記第1の管腔を分離するステップと;
第1の管腔内の液体流動に波を付与するように構成された波発生器を、前記第1の管腔と流体連通するように接続するステップとを具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法がさらに、前記減圧源と前記シール部材の間で前記波発生器を前記減圧送達部材に付随させるステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の製造方法がさらに、前記減圧源と前記シール部材の間で前記波発生器を前記減圧送達部材に連結するステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、前記波発生器が、約1Hzよりも大きい周波数で前記液体流動に波を付与するように構成されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、前記波発生器が、約0.5乃至約20Hzの範囲の周波数で前記液体流動に波を付与するように構成されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、前記波発生器が、約20Hzよりも大きい周波数で前記液体流動に波を付与するように構成されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、前記波発生器が、前記減圧送達部材に流体連結された圧電変換器を具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、前記波発生器が、前記減圧送達部材に流体連結されたダイアフラム部材を具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、前記波発生器が:
前記減圧送達部材と流体連通している複数のバルブと;
当該複数のバルブが付随している複数のチャンバとを具えており、
前記複数のバルブは、前記減圧送達部材内に波を生成するために選択的に開閉するよう機能することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、
第1の管腔が第1の内部空間を有し;
第2の管腔が第2の内部空間を有し;
前記液体不透過性かつ気体透過性の部材が、前記第2の内部空間の少なくとも一部分において、前記第2の管腔に連結されていることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、
第1の管腔が第1の内部空間を有し;
第2の管腔が第2の内部空間を有し;
前記液体不透過性かつ気体透過性の部材が、前記第2の内部空間の少なくとも一部分において、前記第2の管腔に連結されており;
前記液体不透過性かつ気体透過性の部材が合成フッ素重合体を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、
第1の管腔が第1の内部空間を有し;
第2の管腔が第2の内部空間を有し;
前記液体不透過性かつ気体透過性の部材が、前記第2の内部空間の少なくとも一部分において、前記第2の管腔に連結されており;
前記液体不透過性かつ気体透過性の部材が合成フッ素重合体を含み;
当該合成フッ素重合体がポリテトラフルオロエチレン材料(PTFE)を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、
第1の管腔が第1の内部空間を有し;
第2の管腔が第2の内部空間を有し;
前記第2の管腔が気体および液体不透過性の材料を具え;
前記第1の管腔が前記第2の内部空間内に配置された前記液体不透過性かつ気体透過性の部材を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、
第1の管腔が第1の内部空間を有し;
第2の管腔が第2の内部空間を有し;
前記第2の管腔が気体および液体不透過性の材料を具え;
前記第1の管腔が前記第2の内部空間内に配置された前記液体不透過性かつ気体透過性の部材を具えており;
前記液体不透過性かつ気体透過性の部材が合成フッ素重合体を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、
第1の管腔が第1の内部空間を有し;
第2の管腔が第2の内部空間を有し;
前記第2の管腔が気体および液体不透過性の材料を具え;
前記第1の管腔が前記第2の内部空間内に配置された前記液体不透過性かつ気体透過性の部材を具えており;
前記液体不透過性かつ気体透過性の部材が合成フッ素重合体を含み;
当該合成フッ素重合体がポリテトラフルオロエチレン材料(PTFE)を含むことを特徴とする方法。
