次に、本実施の形態における電池ブロックの構成について図4から図8を用いて詳細に説明する。図4は、図1の二次電池モジュールに収容される電池ブロックの斜視図と、その面構成と冷媒流通口を示し、図5は、図1の二次電池モジュールに収容される他の電池ブロックの斜視図、図6は、図4の電池ブロックの分解斜視図、図7は図4の電池ブロックの分解断面図、図8は図4の電池ブロックの導電部材を分解し電圧検出基板を組み込む前の状態を示す分解斜視図である。
図13(a)はモジュール筐体2の下ケース11の斜視図である。モジュール筐体2は前記のように、上方が開口する下ケース11と、下ケース11の上方開口を閉じる上蓋12から構成される(図2参照)。下ケース11は、箱曲げ加工により形成されており、平面視略矩形の筐体底壁部23と、筐体底壁部23の4辺で折曲されて垂直に立ち上げられて前後に対峙する筐体前壁部21及び筐体後壁部31と左右に対峙する一対の筐体側壁部33を有している。そして、筐体前壁部21及び筐体後壁部31と筐体側壁部33との間は、溶接加工により気密的に接合されている。下ケース11は、筐体底壁部23の外周が上方に立ち上がり、内部に収容空間を形成し、立ち上がり部の上部が水平方向に延出され、フランジ部36が形成されている。そして、フランジ部36には上蓋12を固定するためのビス孔37が形成されている。

- 複数の電池セルと、
該複数の電池セルを該電池セルの一部が外部に露出した状態で保持する保持ケースと、
前記電池セルに押接されて前記電池セルの温度を検出する温度検出センサと、
前記保持ケースに設けられて、前記温度検出センサを前記電池セルの外部露出部に押接させた状態に保持するセンサ保持部と、
前記保持ケースに取り付けられる電圧検出基板と、
を有し、
前記保持ケースは、該保持ケースのケース内部に前記電池セルが露出して冷媒が通過する冷却通路を有し、
前記温度検出センサは、
前記電池セルの外部露出部に対向して配置されるセンサ本体と、
該センサ本体から延出して前記電池セルの外部露出部に向かって付勢する弾性片と、
前記電圧検出基板に接続可能なコネクタと、
を有し、
前記電圧検出基板に前記コネクタを接続することで、制御装置に接続されたセンサ線に前記温度検出センサが前記電圧検出基板を介して接続されることを特徴とする電池ブロック。 - 前記複数の電池セルは円筒形状を有し、前記保持ケースは前記複数の電池セルを並列に並べて前記電池セルの端面を外部に露出させた状態で保持しており、前記電池セルの端面に導電部材が接合されて、前記電池セルの端面で且つ前記導電部材の側方に前記電池セルの外部露出部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池ブロック。

を有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池モジュール。 - 複数の前記電池ブロックは、前記保持ケースの長手方向同士が平行となるように配置され、
前記保持ケースは、前記長手方向の両端部に前記冷却通路に冷媒を流通させるための冷媒流通口を有し、
前記筐体は、前記保持ケースの一方の前記端部に対向する壁部に一方の前記冷媒流通口に対向する吸気口と、前記保持ケースの他方の前記端部に対向する壁部に他方の前記冷媒流通口に対向する排気口と、を有し、
前記センサ保持部は、前記保持ケースの側面に露出する前記電池セルの端面に対向する位置に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の二次電池モジュール。 - 前記センサ保持部は、前記保持ケースの一方の側面と他方の側面にて、それぞれ前記長手方向に離れて対をなして設けられ、
前記温度検出センサは、前記長手方向に離れて対をなす2つの前記センサ保持部のうち、いずれか一方に選択的に配置されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の二次電池モジュール。
