Description
Claims (14)
- 膜の第1の面上の磁性ナノ粒子とともに用いるための方法であって、前記磁性ナノ粒子の各々は目的の分析物に結合されており、前記膜は200nm以下の厚さを有し、前記磁性ナノ粒子は、強磁性およびフェリ磁性からなる群より選択される磁性を有し、前記方法は、
前記第1の面とは反対の前記膜の第2の面に置かれた磁気センサを用いて前記磁性ナノ粒子を検出するステップであって、前記磁気センサは前記膜に対して移動する、前記検出するステップ、
を含み、
前記検出するステップは、
前記センサを前記膜の前記第2の面に沿って走査することにより、前記磁性ナノ粒子の位置を定めるステップ
を含む、前記方法。 - 前記磁性ナノ粒子の数をカウントするステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記膜の前記第1の面に磁性ナノ粒子のアレイが存在する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記走査することが、前記第2の面に沿って前後に走査することを含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記磁性ナノ粒子の数をカウントするステップを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記膜は100ナノメートル未満の厚さを有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 膜の第1の面に、複数の反応部位をそれぞれ有する領域のアレイを有する前記膜とともに用いるための方法であって、前記膜は200nm以下の厚さを有し、前記方法は、
異なる領域の反応部位が異なる捕捉抗体を有するように、前記反応部位を機能化するステップと、
前記膜の前記第1の面にテスト流体を適用するステップであって、前記テスト流体は複数の異なる抗原を含んでおり、抗原は前記捕捉抗体の特定のものに特異的に結合する、前記適用するステップと、
前記結合した抗原に対して、前記結合した抗原に対応する抗体で機能化された磁性ナノ粒子の溶液を適用することによって、前記結合した抗原の少なくともいくらかが抗体で機能化されたそれぞれの磁性ナノ粒子に結合されるようにし、結果として磁性ナノ粒子がそれぞれの反応部位に結合されるようにするステップであって、前記磁性ナノ粒子は、強磁性およびフェリ磁性からなる群より選択される磁性を有する、前記結合されるようにするステップと、
前記第1の面とは反対の前記膜の第2の面に沿って少なくとも1つのセンサを走査することによって、前記膜の前記第1の面の前記反応部位に結合された各領域内の磁性ナノ粒子の数を定めるステップと
を含む、前記方法。 - 膜の第1の面に反応部位を有する前記膜とともに用いるための方法であって、前記膜は200nm以下の厚さを有し、前記方法は、
前記反応部位に目的の分析物に対する親和性を持たせるように、前記反応部位を機能化するステップと、
前記膜の前記第1の面にテスト流体を適用するステップであって、前記テスト流体は前記目的の分析物を含んでおり、前記膜の前記第1の面の反応部位に前記分析物が結合する、前記適用するステップと、
前記結合した分析物を有する前記膜の前記第1の面に対して、前記分析物に対する親和性を有する化合物で機能化された磁性ナノ粒子の溶液を適用することによって、前記膜の前記第1の面上の反応部位に磁性ナノ粒子が結合されるようにするステップであって、前記磁性ナノ粒子は、強磁性およびフェリ磁性からなる群より選択される磁性を有する、前記結合されるようにするステップと、
前記第1の面とは反対の前記膜の第2の面に沿って少なくとも1つのセンサを走査することによって、前記膜の前記第1の面の前記反応部位に結合された磁性ナノ粒子の数を定めるステップと
を含む、前記方法。 - 前記テスト流体内の前記分析物の濃度を定めるステップを含む、請求項7又は8に記載の方法。
- 膜の第1上に少なくとも1つの磁性ナノ粒子を提供するステップであって、前記膜は200nm以下の厚さを有し、前記磁性ナノ粒子は、強磁性およびフェリ磁性からなる群より選択される磁性を有し、前記方法は、
前記少なくとも1つの磁性ナノ粒子は目的の分析物に結合される、前記提供するステップと、
前記第1の面とは反対の前記膜の第2の面に置かれた磁気センサを用いて前記少なくとも1つの磁性ナノ粒子を検出するステップであって、前記磁気センサは前記膜に対して移動する、前記検出するステップと
を含み、
前記検出するステップは、
前記センサを前記膜の前記第2の面に沿って走査することにより、前記磁性ナノ粒子の位置を定めるステップ
を含む、方法。 - 前記走査することが、前記第2の面に沿って前後に走査することを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記磁性ナノ粒子の数をカウントするステップを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記膜は100ナノメートル未満の厚さを有する、請求項7〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記磁性ナノ粒子は100nm未満の特性寸法を有する、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項記載の方法。
