Description
Claims (12)
- オン状態における白色外観とオフ状態における有色外観とを持つ光源であって、前記有色外観は、前記光源内の、第1の波長範囲における光を吸収し第2の波長範囲における光を発する光ルミネッセント材料によってもたらされる、光源と、
前記光源から下流における切り替え可能な光学要素であって、少なくとも透過性の状態と第3の波長範囲において反射性である状態とを有する切り替え可能な光学要素と、
を有する照明装置であって、
前記光源がオフ状態にあり、かつ、前記切り替え可能な光学要素が反射状態にある場合に前記照明装置の白色外観をもたらすように、前記第3の波長範囲及び前記第1の波長範囲は実質的に重複しており、
前記切り替え可能な光学要素は、前記反射状態にある場合に、前記第3の波長範囲を有するアンビエント光の一部を反射する、
照明装置。 - 前記光源は、
第4の波長範囲における光を発することができる発光要素と、
前記発光要素の下流におけるフォトルミネセンス要素であって、前記第1の波長範囲において、前記発光要素により発される前記光の一部を吸収し、この光の吸収に応答して、前記第2の波長範囲の光を発することができるフォトルミネセンス要素と、
を有しており、前記第2の波長範囲における放出と、前記第4の波長範囲における放出とは、オン状態における前記光源の白色外観をもたらすように調整されている、請求項1に記載の照明装置。 - 前記発光要素は、発光ダイオード(LED)である、請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記発光要素は、レーザーである、請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記フォトルミネセンス要素は、蛍光体ベースのものである、請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記光源は、白色蛍光体コーティングされた発光ダイオード(pc―LED)である、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記切り替え可能な光学要素は、電気的に切り替え可能である、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記電気的に切り替え可能な光学要素は、切り替え可能なフォトニック・バンドギャップ材料である、請求項7に記載の照明装置。
- 前記切り替え可能なフォトニック・バンドギャップは、切り替え可能なコレステリックゲルである、請求項8に記載の照明装置。
- 前記切り替え可能なフォトニック・バンドギャップ材料が、切り替え可能なフォトニック結晶構造に基づくものである、請求項8に記載の照明装置。
- 光学キャビティと、
前記光学キャビティを覆っていると共に光が前記光学キャビティから発されるのを可能にしている窓と、
を更に有し、前記光源は光学キャビティ内に配されており、前記窓は前記切り替え可能な光学要素を備えている、
請求項1に記載の照明装置。 - 前記切り替え可能な光学要素は、前記窓の一方の表面又は両方の表面に設けられている、請求項11に記載の照明装置。
