Description
ポリカーボネートと、顆粒フレーク状ガラスとを含み、
前記顆粒フレーク状ガラスが、
(a)0.1〜2.0μmの平均厚さ、及び10〜2000μmの平均粒径を有するフレーク状ガラスと、
(b)当該顆粒フレーク状ガラスに対して固形分質量比で2.0質量%よりも多く5.0質量%以下の範囲で含まれ、前記フレーク状ガラスを顆粒化している結合剤と、
を含む、樹脂組成物を提供する。
0.1〜2.0μmの平均厚さ、及び10〜2000μmの平均粒径を有するフレーク状ガラスと、
当該顆粒フレーク状ガラスに対して固形分質量比で2.0質量%よりも多く5.0質量%以下の範囲で含まれ、前記フレーク状ガラスを顆粒化している結合剤と、
を含む、顆粒フレーク状ガラスを提供する。

まず、表1に示す組成を有するEガラスを用い、図1を参照して説明したブロー法によりフレーク状ガラスを作製した。具体的には、1200℃以上に加熱した溶解槽にEガラスを入れて溶解した。ノズルから空気を吹き込みながら薄いガラスを作製し、この薄いガラスをローラーで連続的に引き出した。空気の吹き込み量及びローラー回転数を調節し、平均厚さ0.7μmのガラスを得た。その後、粉砕及び分級を行い、平均粒径160μmのフレーク状ガラスを得た。フレーク状ガラスを粉砕した後、適切な目開きを有する篩を用いてフレーク状ガラスを分級することにより、大きさの揃ったフレーク状ガラスを得ることができる。
実施例1の顆粒フレーク状ガラスをポリカーボネートに押出成形機にて混練し、顆粒フレーク状ガラスを補強材として含むポリカーボネートを射出成形機にて成形した。樹脂成形品における顆粒フレーク状ガラスの含有率は30質量%であった。
結合剤における固形分(結合剤成分及びカップリング剤成分)の含有率を調節することにより、実施例2〜4及び比較例1〜4の顆粒フレーク状ガラスを得た。ただし、実施例2〜4及び比較例1〜4で用いた結合剤における接着剤成分とカップリング剤成分との比率は、実施例1で用いた結合剤と同一であった。実施例1と同じ方法で結合剤の付着率を測定した。また、実施例1と同じ方法で樹脂成形品を作製し、それらの各種特性を測定した。結果を表2及び3に示す。
Claims (2)
- ポリカーボネートと、顆粒フレーク状ガラスとを含む樹脂組成物であって、
前記顆粒フレーク状ガラスが、
(a)0.1〜2.0μmの平均厚さ、及び10〜2000μmの平均粒径を有するフレーク状ガラスと、
(b)当該顆粒フレーク状ガラスに固形分質量比で2.25〜4.81質量%の範囲で含まれ、前記フレーク状ガラスを顆粒化している結合剤と、
を含み、
前記フレーク状ガラスの組成が、質量%で表して、
SiO 2 :52〜56
Al 2 O 3 :12〜16
CaO:16〜25
MgO:0〜6
Na 2 O+K 2 O:0〜2
B 2 O 3 :5〜13
F 2 :0〜0.5
であり、
前記樹脂組成物中の前記顆粒フレーク状ガラスの含有率が5〜70質量%の範囲にあり、
JIS K 7210に従って温度280℃、荷重2.5kgの条件で測定されたマスフローレートが28.1〜29.5g/10minの範囲にある、樹脂組成物。 - 前記結合剤が、接着剤成分とカップリング剤成分とを含む、請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物。
