Description
The present invention relates to a water-soluble metalworking fluid. More specifically, the present invention relates to a water-soluble metal processing oil such as cutting / grinding oil, plastic processing oil, rust prevention / cleaning oil, quenching oil, and the like.
Water-soluble processing oils used when processing metals include solution types, soluble types, and emulsion types. These are all water, alkaline substances (inorganic alkali / organic amine compounds), mineral oil (mineral oil), fats and oils, fatty acids, fatty acid esters, extreme pressure additives, surfactants, antifoaming agents, metal anticorrosives, antioxidants It contains antiseptic / antifungal agent (bactericidal agent) and the like as a composition component. These additives are produced by appropriately blending depending on the workpiece to be processed, processing conditions and other conditions.
These oils are usually used diluted 2 to 100 times with water. (Liquid in a state in which it is diluted and used is hereinafter referred to as coolant.) This coolant has secondary performance such as primary performance related to workability and rust prevention related to workability, microbial degradation resistance, and harmless to humans. Is required. (Microbial degradation resistance refers to resistance to spoilage caused by microorganisms and is hereinafter referred to as spoilage resistance.) In coolants, organic substances (including nitrogen compounds) contained in oil components and processing machinery The problem is that the working environment and the lubricating oil mixed from the plant are used as nutrients by bacteria and fungi, so that the coolant rots and generates a foul odor, which worsens the surrounding work environment.
Moreover, due to microbial degradation, the alkalinity is often impaired, resulting in a problem of rusting of the workpiece. As countermeasures against spoilage, selection and increase of types of organic amines and preservatives / antifungal agents in water-soluble processing oils have been carried out.
In particular, amine compounds such as cyclohexylamine, dicyclohexylamine, benzylamine, dibenzylamine, xylenediamine, and N-aminopropylpiperazine have been used from the viewpoint of antiseptic and mildewing (Patent Documents 1 to 4). However, they are too alkaline and cannot be used safely, such as the problem of rough skin or the recent PRTR method.
The object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems, and is intended to prevent the problem of rusting due to the deterioration of coolant by microorganisms and the deterioration of the working environment due to decay.
In addition, since the life of the coolant that has become waste liquid due to decay can be extended, a processing oil that is friendly to the global environment is provided.
As a result of intensive studies to achieve the above object, the inventors of the present invention have used triazine compounds such as 1,3,5-triazine as a countermeasure against bacteria and N-butyl-1,2-benzisothiazoline-3 as a countermeasure against fungi. -Combined use of ON and specific amounts of primary and secondary organic amines to enhance alkalinity, and as a synergistic effect, the antibacterial spectrum spreads and a water-soluble processing oil that is extremely effective against deterioration by microorganisms is completed. It came to.

The water-soluble metalworking fluid composition of the present invention is
(A) 0.5 to 6% by weight of a triazine compound and 0.1 to 1.0% by weight of N-butyl-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and (B) a primary organic amine and / or The total amount of secondary organic amine is 1-60% by weight
It is characterized by containing.
First, (A) a triazine compound and N-butyl-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one will be described.
Triazine compounds include 1,3,5-triazine and derivatives thereof, and examples include hexahydro-1,3,5-tris (2-hydroxyethyl) -1,3,5-triazine. Hexahydro-1,3,5-tris (2-hydroxyethyl) -1,3,5-triazine is preferred. The triazine compound also includes a commercially available triazine preservative, and for example, Dodigen NJ (manufactured by Clariant Japan), Suneye Back P (manufactured by Sanai Oil Co., Ltd.), and the like can be suitably used.
When a triazine compound and N-butyl-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one are used in combination, the rot resistance is improved.
The blending amount of the triazine compound is 0.5 to 6% by weight, preferably 1.0 to 4.0% by weight, based on the total amount of the water-soluble metalworking oil (stock solution). Triazine compounds exceeding 6% by weight are not preferred because odors and rough skin may become problems. Further, a triazine compound of less than 0.5% by weight is not preferable because the antiseptic effect is lowered.

Next, (B) primary and secondary organic amines will be described.
The organic amine is blended from the viewpoint of alkaline rust prevention and rot resistance by raising the pH. In general, primary amines have high pH retention and are effective against rust prevention and bacteria resistance, but cannot be used much from the viewpoint of rough skin. Further, the secondary amine is blended in order to maintain the entire alkali amount in order to enhance the rust prevention effect.
The organic amine is selected from primary and secondary ones. Examples of the primary organic amine include monoethanolamine, diglycolamine, monoisopropanolamine, and 2-amino-2-methylpropanol. Examples of the secondary organic amine include diethanolamine, diisopropanolamine, N-butylethanolamine, N -Methylethanolamine, N-ethylethanolamine, 2- (sec-butylamino) ethanol and the like. Among them, monoisopropanolamine, 2-amino-2-methylpropanol, diglycolamine as primary organic amine, diethanolamine, N-methylethanolamine, N-butylethanolamine, 2- (sec -Butylamino) ethanol is preferred.
The total amount of the primary organic amine and / or secondary organic amine is usually 1 to 60% by weight based on the total amount of the water-soluble metalworking oil (stock solution). A primary organic amine or a secondary organic amine may be added alone, or a primary organic amine and a secondary organic amine may be used in combination, but the combined use is preferred. The organic amine is a primary organic amine of 0 to 20% by weight, a secondary organic amine of 0 to 40% by weight, preferably a primary organic amine of 1 to 20% by weight, and a secondary organic amine of 1 to 30% by weight. When the total amount of the primary organic amine and / or the secondary organic amine exceeds 60% by weight, it is not preferable in terms of rough skin and cost. Further, if the total amount of the primary organic amine and / or the secondary organic amine is less than 1% by weight, it is not preferable because rust prevention and rot resistance are not recognized.
The amount of the organic amine is determined in consideration of the diluent concentration and use, rust prevention, and rot resistance in use.
