Description

The present invention relates to a knitting method of a knitted fabric in which a set-up part is knitted by splitting using a flat knitting machine including a compound needle having a needle body and a slider having two blades.

Conventionally, a method for setting up a knitted fabric using a flat knitting machine including at least a pair of front and back needle beds is known. As the simplest set-up method, a method is known in which a set-up portion of a knitted fabric is knitted by alternately supplying knitting yarn to the knitting needles of the front needle bed and the back needle bed of the flat knitting machine. . However, with this method, the crossover yarn between the front and back needle beds tends to be long, so that the set-up portion may become loose. In order to solve this problem, it has been proposed to knitting a set-up part using a split increase (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

In order to knit the set-up portion by using the split increase, first, a proximal stitch row serving as a proximal end is knitted on one of the front and rear needle beds. Then, a new knitting yarn is fed while transferring a specific stitch (target stitch) in the proximal stitch row to the knitting needle of the other needle bed facing, and one of the new stitches drawn from the target stitch is selected. The formation of the knitting needle on the needle bed (the knitting needle in which the target stitch to be transferred was originally locked) is repeated from one end side to the other end side in the knitting width direction. As shown in FIG. 2, the set-up portion knitted in such a manner becomes a set-up portion in which the sinker loops of the stitches locked to the front and back needle beds are not entangled with each other. Further, in this set-up portion, the yarn length connecting the stitches does not become unnecessarily long, and the stitches are in a clogged state, so that the set-up portion looks the same as the portion other than the set-up portion.

However, the set-up method using the additional increase shown in Patent Document 1 is an effective method when the knitting needle of the flat knitting machine is a latch needle, and the knitting needle of the flat knitting machine is connected between the needle body and the needle body. In the case of a compound needle having a slider having two blades for opening and closing the hook (for example, see Japanese Patent No. 2917146), this is an inappropriate method. If the set-up method of Patent Document 1 is performed on a flat knitting machine including a compound needle, the stitcher loops of the proximal stitch row and the new stitch stitch loops are not entangled with each other as shown in FIG. The same set-up part cannot be formed.

The above-described problem is caused by the difference in structure for transferring stitches between opposing needle beds between the latch needle and the compound needle. In the case of the latch needle, since the blades on the side surface of the latch needle are used when transferring the stitches, the hooks of the latch needles of the opposing needle bed are slightly shifted in the longitudinal direction of the needle bed. On the other hand, in the case of a compound needle having a slider with two blades, the needle is held by the hook of the compound needle facing the tang held at the tongue at the tip of the blade on the mouth side. The hooks of the compound needles of the needle bed to be moved are not displaced in the longitudinal direction of the needle bed. Such a difference in the positional relationship between the opposing knitting needles causes the above problem. Needless to say, when the same procedure as in Patent Document 1 is followed, it is not possible to form a knitted fabric with a composite needle only because the composite needle cannot form the same set-up part as in FIG.

As described above, it is a flat knitting machine using a compound needle having a structure different from that of the latch needle, and connects the knitting yarn that connects the stitches locked to the front needle bed and the stitches locked to the back needle bed. In order to knit the set-up part formed by entanglement with the knitting yarn, a completely new idea is required.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to use a flat knitting machine including a compound needle having a needle body and a slider having two blades to increase a set-up portion by splitting. It is an object to provide a method for setting up a knitted fabric that can be knitted.

The present invention includes at least a pair of front and back needle beds and a yarn feeder for supplying knitting yarn to these needle beds, and uses a flat knitting machine capable of transferring stitches between the front and back needle beds. A knitting needle on the other needle bed facing the target stitch while forming a new stitch following the target stitch that is one of the stitches of the proximal stitch row, forming a proximal stitch row on one of the needle beds The invention relates to a method for setting up a knitted fabric in which a set-up portion of a knitted fabric is knitted by repeating the increase in the rate of transfer to one side from the other in the longitudinal direction of the needle bed. This knitting method of the knitted fabric of the present invention is characterized in that the following steps α to δ are repeated when the direction in which splitting is sequentially performed in the needle bed longitudinal direction is the forming direction and the opposite direction is the starting end direction. To do.
[Step α]... While the yarn feeder is moved in the forming direction, the target stitches are split.
[Step β]... Transfer the additional stitch, which is the target stitch transferred to the other needle bed by increasing the number in the step α, to the knitting needle on the needle bed facing the needle bed to which the additional stitch is locked. To do.
[Step γ]... The yarn feeder is moved to the start end direction side with respect to the additional stitch transferred in the step β.
[Step δ]... The additional stitch is transferred to the other needle bed.
The knitting needle provided on the needle bed of the flat knitting machine used in the set-up method of the knitted fabric of the present invention is a composite needle having a needle body and a slider having two blades.

Here, the needle bed for transferring the stitches increased in step β (the target stitch transferred from one needle bed to the other needle bed in accordance with the formation of the new stitch in step α) is a flat knitting used for knitting. It may change depending on the type of machine. For example, when it is assumed that the additional stitch is locked to the front needle bed, the needle bed that transfers the additional stitch is as follows.
-Two-bed flat knitting machine with front and rear facing front needle beds and rear needle beds ... Rear needle bed, front needle bed (lower front needle bed) and rear needle bed (lower rear needle bed), and above Four-bed flat knitting machine with upper front needle bed and upper back needle bed installed ... Lower back needle bed or upper back needle bed

As one form of the set-up method of the knitted fabric of the present invention, the knitting needle that transfers the additional stitches in the step β includes a knitting needle that faces the knitting needle that has been locked before the transfer, and the knitting needle is sandwiched between It is preferable to use one of three knitting needles on the left and right. For example, when the knitting needles arranged in the longitudinal direction of the needle bed are knitting needles A to I in order from the left, and the increased stitch is locked to the knitting needle E of the front needle bed in the process α, the knitting needle transferred in the process β is The needle bed is preferably any one of the knitting needles B to H (total of seven knitting needles).

By repeating the steps α to δ of the knitting method of the knitted fabric of the present invention, the knitting yarn of the additional stitch (target stitch) and the knitting yarn of the new stitch can be entangled with each additional split. As a result, the set-up portion knitted according to the set-up method of the knitted fabric of the present invention becomes a set-up portion similar to the set-up portion knitted by splitting with a latch needle and cannot be unraveled.

By limiting the range of the knitting needles that transfer the additional stitches in step β and shortening the distance at which the stitches are transferred, it is possible to prevent excessive tension from being applied to the knitting yarn due to the transfer.

It is a knitting process figure which shows the knitting process which concerns on the set-up method of the knitted fabric of this invention using the flat knitting machine provided with a compound needle. It is a loop figure of the set-up part knitted by the conventional split increase method using the flat knitting machine provided with a latch needle. It is a loop figure of the set-up part knitted by the conventional split increase method using the flat knitting machine provided with a compound needle.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The knitting described in the embodiment includes a lower front needle bed (FD) and a lower rear needle bed (BD) that extend in the left-right direction and face each other in the front-rear direction, and an upper front needle bed provided above the FD and BD. An example of knitting using a four-bed flat knitting machine including (FU) and an upper rear needle bed (BU) will be described. This flat knitting machine includes a needle body having a hook and two sliders for opening and closing the hook as knitting needles arranged on the needle bed, and a composite needle capable of transferring stitches between the two sliders. Is provided. The flat knitting machine to be used may be a two-bed flat knitting machine or a two-bed flat knitting machine equipped with a transfer jack bed. In the case of these two-bed flat knitting machines, it is preferable to perform a needle knitting in which empty needles are sandwiched between adjacent stitches.

In the present embodiment, an example in which the set-up method of the present invention is applied to knitting a knitted fabric following the stitches of the cut yarn after the stitch is formed on the BD with the knitting yarn serving as the cut yarn is based on FIG. I will explain.

FIG. 1 is a knitting process diagram for setting up a knitted fabric with a knitting yarn from a yarn feeder 8 represented by ▼. In the figure, “S + number” indicates a knitting process number, a short black bar indicates a knitting needle provided in each needle bed, and A to C indicate positions of knitting needles in the needle bed. Since the knitting needles of FU are not used in the knitting process of this embodiment, the knitting needles of FU are not shown in FIG.

First, S1 shows a state in which the stitches of the proximal stitch row 10 serving as the proximal end of the set-up are formed on the knitting needles A to C of the BD. The stitches in the proximal stitch row 10 are stitches that are continuously formed in the wale direction of the stitches of the unillustrated yarn. In the subsequent knitting process, an increased stitch is formed from this state toward the left side of the drawing. Therefore, the left direction of the drawing is defined as “formation direction LS” and the opposite direction is defined as “starting direction RS”.

In S2, while moving the yarn feeder 8 in the forming direction LS, a new stitch 3 following the stitch in the proximal stitch row (see the target stitch 1 in S1) locked to the knitting needle C of the BD is formed. The target stitch 1 is transferred to the knitting needle C of the FD at a position facing the knitting needle C of the BD on which the target stitch 1 is locked (see arrow). The target stitch 1 transferred to the FD is hereinafter referred to as an additional stitch 2. At the end of S2, the transition yarn extending from the yarn feeder 8 to the new stitch 3 intersects the portion of the additional stitch 2 on the formation direction LS side.

In S3, the additional stitch 2 locked to the stitch C of the FD in S2 is transferred to the knitting needle B of the BU on the forming direction LS side with respect to the knitting needle C. The knitting needle for transferring the additional stitch 2 may be, for example, the knitting needle A or the knitting needle C of BU. That is, the knitting needle for transferring the additional stitch 2 is not particularly limited as long as it is a BU knitting needle facing the FD. However, the knitting needles are knitting needles in a range corresponding to three stitches on both sides of the BU knitting needle C (a total of seven stitches including the knitting needle C).

In S4, the yarn feeder 8 is moved in the start direction RS, and is stopped from the knitting needle C toward the start direction RS. In S5, the additional stitch 2 deposited on the knitting needle B of the BU in S3 is transferred to the knitting needle C of the FD. That is, the additional stitch 2 is returned to the knitting needle C of the FD where the additional stitch 2 was originally locked. At the end of S5, the transition yarn extending from the yarn feeder 8 to the new stitch 3 intersects the portion of the additional stitch 2 on the start end direction RS side. By swapping the position where the crossover yarn intersects with the additional stitch 2 through S3 to S5, the sinker loops of the additional stitch 2 and the new stitch 3 can be intertwined so as not to be unraveled.

Next, the stitches in the proximal stitch row 10 that is locked to the knitting needle B of the BD in S5 are defined as the target stitch 1, and the same knitting as in S2 to S5 is performed. Specifically, while moving the yarn feeder 8 in the forming direction LS, the new stitch 3 following the target stitch 1 locked to the knitting needle B of the BD is formed, and the target stitch 1 is related to the target stitch 1. Transfer to the knitting needle B of the FD located at the position facing the knitting needle B of the stopped BD (see S6).

Then, (see S7) and stitch transfer the widening stitch 2 to be engaged in the knitting needle B of the FD to the knitting needle A of the BU in S6, then, by moving the yarn feeder 8 in the right direction of the paper face, starting than knitting needle B Stop in the direction RS (see S8). Finally, the additional stitch 2 deposited on the knitting needle A of the BU in S7 is returned to the knitting needle B of the FD (see S9).

Thereafter, the set-up unit 100 can be completed by repeating the knitting similar to S6 to S9 (see S10). The set-up portion 100 is entangled with the same knitting yarn as the set-up portion knitted by splitting with a latch needle (see also FIG. 2). For this reason, the set-up portion 100 knitted according to the knitting process of the present embodiment cannot be understood even though it is knitted using a split stitch with a compound needle.

A typical example of the application location of the set-up method for the knitted fabric of the present invention is a set-up portion on one side when the knitwear is knitted sideways. In addition, the knitting method of the knitted fabric of the present invention may be applied to the formation of the set-up portion of the hem such as a bag rib when the knitwear is knitted vertically.

The embodiment of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be appropriately changed without departing from the gist of the present invention. For example, the yarn feeder of the flat knitting machine may be a type that is accompanied by a carriage, or may be a self-propelled type.
