Description
銀の含有量がほぼ90重量%のハイスループット銀ナノ粒子を実施例で用いた。実施例では、インク配合物が、銀含有量が90重量%であるように銀ナノ粒子の変動が維持されているかどうか、この配合物が、異なるバッチでも堅牢性が高いかどうかという前提について評価した。銀ナノ粒子の調製は、米国特許第7,494,608号(本明細書に引用することによって組み込まれる)にすでに開示されているように行ない、ヘキサデシルアミンと酢酸銀のモル比は5:1であった。
印刷した銀線の接着性をさらに改良するために、テルペン樹脂(Arizona Chemicals(Jacsonville,Florida)製)をインク配合物に1.2重量%になるように加えた。このインクの配合を表2に示す。
Claims (9)
- 金属を含み、前記金属が銀である金属ナノ粒子と、
樹脂と、
2種類以上のインク媒剤とを含み、
前記2種類以上のインク媒剤が、ビシクロヘキサンおよびデカヒドロナフタレンを含み、
前記樹脂が、インク組成物の合計重量の0.05〜5重量%の量で存在する、インクジェット印刷用のインク組成物。 - 前記金属ナノ粒子は、金属ナノ粒子コアと有機安定化剤のシェル層とを含む、安定化された金属ナノ粒子である、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 前記金属ナノ粒子は、金属含有量が少なくとも65重量%である、請求項2に記載のインク組成物。
- 印刷ヘッドノズル内での少なくとも5時間の延長された乾燥時間を有する、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 前記有機安定化剤が式X−Yを有し、Xが、少なくとも4個の炭素原子を含む炭化水素基であり、Yが、前記金属ナノ粒子の表面に接続しており、ヒドロキシル、アミン、カルボン酸、チオール、キサントゲン酸、ピリジン、ピロリドン、およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される官能基である、請求項2に記載のインク組成物。
- 前記金属ナノ粒子が、金、白金、パラジウム、銅、コバルト、クロム、ニッケル、銀−銅コンポジット、銀−金−銅コンポジット、銀−金−パラジウムコンポジット、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される金属または金属コンポジットをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 前記2種類以上のインク媒剤が、前記インク組成物の合計重量の15〜90重量%の量で存在する、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- インクジェット印刷用のインク組成物であって、
銀ナノ粒子と、
ビシクロヘキサンおよびデカヒドロナフタレンを含む2種類以上のインク媒剤と、を含み、
前記インク組成物は、印刷ヘッドの乾燥時間が5時間〜1週間まで延長されている、インク組成物。 - 前記銀ナノ粒子は、有機アミンで安定化された銀ナノ粒子である、請求項8に記載のインク組成物。
