Description
特許文献1ないし3に開示されたプレート固定法は、プレートと螺子によってしっかりと固定し、複雑な形状をした骨の形状に適合させる自由度が比較的高いという利点がある一方、切開が大きくなって手術創が目立ったり、プレートが破損する可能性もある。また、特許文献4に開示された髄内固定法は、骨髄内にねじ込むだけであり、髄内は骨に比して比較的軟らかいので固定力が弱いという欠点がある。また、骨髄中心部に関節部末端から挿入する必要があり、施術時に当該関節部位をはずすとともに、完治時に螺子を取り出す場合にも関節部位をはずす必要があり、患者の負担が大きい。さらに、施術が複雑で長時間を要するという欠点がある。さらに、キルシュナー鋼線による髄内固定では、鋼線の逸脱や短縮転位(短縮による骨のずれ)の可能性がある。
さらに、棒状部材の一方の端部の剛性を比較的大きくし、他方の端部を比較的柔軟にするために、一方の端部側から他方の端部側にかけて柔軟性が徐々に増すように熱処理することもできる。
また、棒状部材の一方の端部の剛性を比較的大きくし、他方の端部を比較的柔軟にするために、一方の端部側を弾性率の大きい材料とし、他方の端部側を弾性率の小さい材料とすることもできる。
図1において、1は可撓性材料から構成される屈曲自在の棒状部材であり、棒状部材1の断面は円形である。棒状部材1の一方の端部にはプレート状の固定部2を備え、固定部2には螺子部材を挿通するための挿通孔3が3個設けられ、棒状部材1の他方の端部には螺旋状の螺子部4が形成されている。

Claims (1)
- 骨折した鎖骨内に挿入される鎖骨骨折治療用髄内固定金具であって、
可撓性材料から構成される屈曲自在の棒状部材からなり、当該棒状部材の一方の端部には固定部を備え、当該固定部には螺子部材を挿通するための挿通孔が設けられ、上記棒状部材の他方の端部には螺子部が形成され、
当該螺子部及び当該棒状部材は、当該棒状部材がS字状の当該鎖骨の形状に沿うように屈曲し、当該螺子部が当該鎖骨内部の鎖骨中枢端にねじ込まれていることを特徴とする鎖骨骨折治療用髄内固定金具。
