Description
本発明の組成物の調製において、以下の成分のうちの1以上が使用されてもよい。
−CH2−O−CH2−
によって定義される基を含んでいてもよい。
1以上の実施形態において、接着剤組成物は、部分的に架橋したブチルゴムを提供することと、該部分的に架橋したブチルゴムの存在下ポリウレタンを形成することとによって調製されてもよい。一実施形態において、接着剤組成物は、インラインプロセスとも称される連続的プロセスで調製される。他の実施形態において、接着剤組成物は、マスターバッチプロセスとも称される2段階プロセスによって調製される。どちらの実施形態においても、部分的に架橋したブチルゴムは、ハロゲン化ブチルゴムとフェノール系樹脂とを組み合わせることによって形成されてよい。ポリウレタンは、イソシアネートとフェノール系樹脂とをポリウレタン触媒の存在下、反応させることにより、部分的に架橋したブチルゴムの存在下、形成される。1以上の実施形態において、ポリウレタンは、限定するものではないが、高せん断混合を含む混合条件下、形成される。
1以上の実施形態において、本発明の組成物は、組成物の総重量に基づき、少なくとも25重量%、他の実施形態では少なくとも30重量%、別の実施形態では少なくとも35重量%のハロゲン化ブチルゴムを反応器に提供することによって調製されてもよい。これらの又は他の実施形態において、本発明の組成物は、該組成物の総重量に基づき、60重量%未満、他の実施形態では55重量%未満、別の実施形態では50重量%未満のハロゲン化ブチルゴムを提供することによって調製され得る。1以上の実施形態において、反応器に供給されるブチルゴムの量は、該組成物の総重量に基づき、約25〜約60重量%、他の実施形態では約30〜約50重量%、別の実施形態では約35〜約55重量%であってよい。
有利なことには、接着剤組成物は、組成物を更に硬化させる必要なく、望ましい粘着性及び強度を示す。
本発明の組成物は、屋根膜のための継ぎ目テープとして使用され得る。特定の実施形態では、屋根膜は、平屋根又は緩勾配屋根に使用されることの多い重合体膜、例えば、熱硬化性(例えばEPDM)又は熱可塑性(例えばPVD又はTPO)膜を含む。
Claims (11)
- 相分離重合体組成物であって、
i.ポリウレタンドメインを含む第1相と、
ii.ブチルゴムマトリックスを含む第2相と
を含み、前記ポリウレタンドメインが、フェノール系樹脂から得られたマー単位を含み、前記ポリウレタンドメインが、ジイソシアネートから得られたマー単位を含み、前記重合体組成物が、接着剤組成物である、相分離重合体組成物。 - オイルを更に含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 粘着付与樹脂を更に含む、請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- 最高で約37℃までの温度で、前記ポリウレタンドメインが、前記ブチルゴムマトリックス内で別個のドメインである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリウレタンドメインは、平均粒径が10μm未満である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記ブチルゴムが架橋されている、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリウレタンが、一対のフェノール系樹脂によって前記ブチルゴムに結合している、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 重合体組成物の製造方法であって、
i.1以上のハロゲン原子と、イソプレン由来の1以上の二重結合とを含むハロゲン化ブチルゴムを提供することと;
ii.2以上のハロゲン原子の、金属酸化物による置換によって、前記ブチルゴムを部分的に架橋することと;
iii.前記二重結合の1以上に亘ってフェノール系樹脂を化学的に結合して、前記ブチルゴムにヒドロキシル官能基を提供することと;
iv.前記ブチルゴムの少なくとも1つのヒドロキシル官能基にイソシアネートを化学的に結合させて、ブチルゴム/ウレタン高分子を形成することと;
v.前記ブチルゴム/ウレタン高分子の存在下、ポリウレタンを形成することとを含み、前記ポリウレタンを、ジイソシアネートとフェノール系樹脂とを反応させることにより形成し、
前記重合体組成物が、接着剤組成物である、方法。 - 重合体組成物の製造方法であって、
i.反応押出機にハロゲン化ブチルゴムを入れることと;
ii.前記ブチルゴム上に位置する二重結合と反応する官能基を含む第1フェノール系樹脂を前記反応押出機に入れることと;
iii.前記ブチルゴム上に位置する二重結合と反応する官能基を実質的に含まない第2フェノール系樹脂を入れることと;
iv.前記反応押出機に金属酸化物を入れることと;
v.前記ブチルゴムと前記第1フェノール系樹脂との反応を促進する触媒を反応押出機に入れることと;
vi.前記ハロゲン化ブチルゴムと、前記第1フェノール系樹脂と、前記金属酸化物と、前記ブチルゴムと前記第1フェノール系樹脂との反応を促進するための前記触媒と、を混合することによって、前記ゴムを部分的に架橋し、前記第1フェノール系樹脂によって前記ゴムを官能化することと;
vii.前記反応押出機にイソシアネートを入れることと;
viii.前記部分的に架橋したゴムと前記フェノール系樹脂と前記イソシアネートと前記触媒とを混合することによって、ブチルゴム内に分散したポリウレタンを形成することと
を含み、
前記重合体組成物が、接着剤組成物である、方法。 - 重合体組成物の製造方法であって、
i.ハロゲン化ブチルゴムとフェノール系樹脂とを組み合わせることによって調製されるマスターバッチ組成物を提供することと;
ii.前記マスターバッチ組成物を反応器に導入することと;
iii.イソシアネートと、ポリウレタン形成用触媒とを前記反応器に導入して配合物を形成することと;
iv.前記配合物を、ポリウレタンを形成するのに十分な条件に供することとを含み、
前記重合体組成物が、接着剤組成物である、方法。 - 前記ポリウレタンが、フェノール系樹脂とジイソシアネートとの間の反応によって形成される、請求項10に記載の方法。
