Description
Claims (22)
- 埋込可能な医療装置であって、
開口部の形成された導電性ハウジングを含むケースを備えており、
導電性ハウジングに誘電材料が結合されて開口部を密封しており、
誘電材料を通して外部との間で高周波信号を送信あるいは受信するためのアンテナがケース内で誘電材料の下側に配置されており、
少なくとも一本の電極リード線を接続できるよう構成されたリード線接続用ブロックが誘電材料の上側でケースに結合されていることを特徴とする医療装置。 - 請求項1の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記リード線接続用ブロックがポリマー材料を含み、前記誘電材料がセラミック材料を含み、前記導電性ハウジングが金属材料又は金属合金材料を含むことを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項1の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記リード線接続用ブロックが患者内に埋め込まれるときに第一機械的破損機構を有する第一材料で形成されており、前記誘電材料が患者内に埋め込まれるときに第二機械的破損機構を有する第二材料で形成されることを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項3の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記第二材料が体温で前記第一材料よりも脆いことを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項1の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記誘電材料の突発破損時にリード線接続用ブロックで誘電材料の破片を保持できるように構成されていることを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項1の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記開口部の少なくとも1つの寸法が前記アンテナの放射素子の対応する寸法よりも大きいことを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項1の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記アンテナと前記導電性ハウジングの内部との間に絶縁層があることを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項1の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記アンテナが前記ケース内の回路基板に配置された1つ以上の導電性素子を含む平面アンテナであることを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項1の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記ケース内で前記アンテナに通信回路が接続されており、
この通信回路が、前記ケースの外部にある外部装置に第一信号を送ることと、前記ケースの外部にある外部装置から第二信号を受信することの少なくとも1つを行うように作動可能であることを特徴とする医療装置。 - 請求項9の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記アンテナが回路基板の表面に導電層を含みこの導電層に放射スロットが形成されたスロットアンテナであることを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項10の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記開口部の少なくとも1つの寸法が前記放射スロットの対応する寸法よりも大きいことを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項10の埋込可能な医療装置であって、第二アンテナをさらに含み、この第二アンテナが前記開口部と前記アンテナの放射スロットとを通って伝えられる前記第二信号を受信できるように配置されていることを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項12の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記アンテナの導電層が前記回路基板の第一面側に結合され、前記第二アンテナが前記回路基板の第一面とは反対側の第二面側に結合されていることを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項12の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記ケース内で前記第二アンテナにウェイクアップ回路が接続されており、このウェイクアップ回路が前記第二アンテナで受信される前記第二信号に応じて前記通信回路を非アクティブであるスリープ状態からアクティブであるアウェイク状態に移行させることができるように作動可能であることを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項1の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記ケース内に医療回路をさらに含み、この医療回路が治療回路及び感知回路のうち少なくとも1つを含んでおり、前記リード線接続用ブロックがこの医療回路に結合されており、このリード線接続用ブロックが前記アンテナを少なくとも部分的に遮蔽することを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項1の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記ケースに第一面とこの第一面の反対側の第二面とがあり、第一面側に凹部と非凹部があって、第二面と第一面側の凹部との間の距離が第二面と第一面側の非凹部との間の距離よりも小さくなっており、前記アンテナが第二面と第一面側の凹部との間に位置することを特徴とする医療装置。
- 請求項16の埋込可能な医療装置であって、前記リード線接続用ブロックが第一面側の凹部から第一面側の非凹部とほぼ同一平面までを占めるよう配置されていることを特徴とする医療装置。
- 開口部が形成された導電性ハウジングを含むケースを備えこの導電性ハウジングに誘電材料が結合されて開口部が密封される埋込可能な医療装置を構成する方法であって、
誘電材料を通して外部との間で高周波信号を送信あるいは受信するためのアンテナをケース内の誘電材料の下側に配置する手順と、
ケースを密封する手順と、
少なくとも一本の電極リード線を接続できるよう構成されたリード線接続用ブロックを誘電材料の上側でケースに結合する手順を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項18の方法であって、前記ケースを密封する前に前記アンテナを前記ケース内の通信回路と結合する手順をさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項18の方法であって、
前記1つ以上のリード線接続用ブロックを、前記ケースを通って延びる対応する1つ以上の密封されるフィードスルーと結合する手順と、
前記1つ以上の密封されるフィードスルーを、前記ケース内の刺激回路及び感知回路のうちの少なくとも1つと結合する手順をさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 埋込可能な医療装置の作動方法であって、
埋込可能な医療装置が開口部の形成された導電性ハウジングを含むケースを備え、この導電性ハウジングに誘電材料が結合されて開口部が密封され、少なくとも一本の電極リード線を接続できるよう構成されたリード線接続用ブロックがこの誘電材料の上側に取り付けられ、誘電材料を通して外部との間で高周波信号を受信するための第一アンテナがケース内で誘電材料の下側かつリード線接続用ブロックの下側に位置しており、
埋込可能な医療装置内に密封された第一アンテナで外部からの外部信号を受信する過程と、
この外部信号に応じて医療装置の治療回路で動作信号を生成する過程とを含むことを特徴とする作動方法。 - 請求項21の作動方法であって、
前記信号を受信する前に、前記埋込可能な医療装置内に密封された第二アンテナでウェイクアップ信号を受信する過程と、このウェイクアップ信号に応じて医療装置の通信回路を非アクティブであるスリープ状態から前記信号を受信する作動が可能なアウェイク状態に切り替える過程とを含み、
前記第一アンテナが放射スロットの形成された導電層を含むスロット型アンテナであり、前記ウェイクアップ信号が前記開口部と前記第一アンテナの放射スロットとを通って伝わり第二アンテナで受信されることを特徴とする作動方法。
