Description
の変調または削除は、問題となる経路領域の各パルスまたは一部のパルスのみに適用され得る。たとえば、問題となる経路領域の2つ目ごと、3つ目ごと、または一般にn個目ごとのパルスのみを削除することが可能である。削除とは、問題のレーザ・パルスが完全に遮断され、または適切に偏向および吸収されることを意味し、その結果、実質的にレーザ・パルスが全く眼の組織に達しなくなる。しかし、削除(マスキング)の代わりに、選択されたパルスのエネルギーの減衰を行うこともでき、その結果、問題のパルスは眼の組織に達するが、それらパルスは、走査経路の残りの部分に位置するパルスのエネルギーに比較して合目的的に低いエネルギーを有した状態で眼の組織に達する。そのようなエネルギー低減は、経路領域の関係する全てのパルスに対して等しい大きさにすることができ、すなわち、関係する全てのレーザ・パルスを同じエネルギー・レベルまで実質的に低下させ、または、関係するレーザ・パルスを、少なくとも部分的に様々な程度にエネルギー変調することができる。

その結果、中央領域505では4つのパルスから3つを削除し、周縁領域530では1つおきにパルスを除去することによって、角膜300のフラップ床切開領域全体に亘ってほぼ一様な焦点位置密度が得られる。ここで表示された数値および大きさの比率は、ある状況下では、実際とは合わず、または縮尺に合わず、単に概略的な表示を果たす。具体的な実施形態では、実際のパルスと空白の比率は、単純化して示された値とはかなり異なり得る。
Claims (8)
- 角膜の切開に光切断を生じさせるのに適合した放射パラメータを有するパルス・レーザ放射用の光源と、
前記レーザ放射を偏向するスキャナと、
角膜フラップを生成するように設計された所定の切開形状に従って前記スキャナを制御するように設定されている電子制御ユニットであって、前記切開形状が、前記フラップの床を定める床切開、及び前記フラップの端を定める縁切開を有し;並行して直線的に延在する複数の線状経路を有し、隣接する線状経路の対をそれぞれ末端で接続する複数の折返し湾曲部を有する蛇行ビーム偏向パターンが前記床切開に対して確定されており;前記折返し湾曲部が前記フラップの端の外側に位置する、電子制御ユニットと、
前記光源から発射された前記レーザ・パルスを変調する変調器ユニットとを備える、眼科レーザ手術用システムであって、
前記電子制御ユニットが、前記フラップの端の外側に位置する前記蛇行ビーム偏向パターンの部分では前記レーザ・パルスの一部分が削除されるように、前記変調器ユニットを制御するべくさらに設定されている眼科レーザ手術用システム。 - 眼の組織、特に角膜に切開を行うのに適合した放射パラメータを有するパルス・レーザ放射用の光源と、
前記レーザ放射を偏向するスキャナと、
所定の切開形状に従って前記スキャナを制御するように設定されている電子制御ユニットと、
前記光源から発射された前記レーザ・パルスを変調する変調器ユニットとを備える、眼科レーザ手術用システムであって、
前記電子制御ユニットが、前記切開形状に対して確定されたビーム偏向パターンに従って、前記変調器ユニットを制御するべくさらに設定されており、
前記ビーム偏向パターンが、
螺旋状パターンであって、単位表面積当たり略一様なエネルギー入力を達成するために、及び/又は、前記螺旋状パターンの半径方向内側分枝近くの前記レーザ・パルスの少なくとも一部分を削除するように前記変調器ユニットを制御して略一様な焦点位置密度を達成するために、螺旋状パターンを備え、
前記電子制御ユニットが、前記螺旋状パターンの半径方向内側分枝近くの前記レーザ・パルスの少なくとも一部分のエネルギーを削除するように前記変調器ユニットを制御するべく設定されている、眼科レーザ手術用システム。 - 前記変調器ユニットが音響光学変調器または電気光学変調器を備える、請求項1又は2に記載の眼科レーザ手術用システム。
- 前記音響光学変調器が、2μsと10μsの間のスイッチング時間を有する、請求項3に記載の眼科レーザ手術用システム。
- 前記変調器ユニットが、可変回折効率を有する光回折格子構成要素を備える、前記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の眼科レーザ手術用システム。
- ビーム・ダンプが前記変調器ユニットに設けられており、前記ビーム・ダンプが、前記変調器ユニットによって屈折されたレーザ・パルスを吸収するように構成されている、前記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の眼科レーザ手術用システム。
- 前記螺旋状パターンの中央領域では4つのパルスから3つを削除し、前記螺旋状パターンの周縁領域では1つおきにパルスを削除するべく、前記電子制御ユニットが前記変調器ユニットを制御するように構成されている、請求項2に記載の眼科レーザ手術用システム。
