Claims (9)
- ロッカアーム(3)のパット面(6)とバルブ(8)のステム端面(9)との間に介装されるシム(10)であって、パット面(6)が当接するシム頂面(13)は該シム頂面の中心(X)の回りに回転させて切削され、該シム頂面の中心(X)には該中心(X)が切削できないことからセンター穴(14)が凹設された動弁機構用シム(10)において、
シム頂面(13)の形状を、ロッカアーム(3)の揺動時にパット面(6)がセンター穴(14)の内周面(15)とシム頂面(13)との交線(a)に当接しない形状に設定したことを特徴とする動弁機構用シム。 - シム頂面(13)の形状は、ロッカアーム(3)の揺動時にパット面(6)が当接するシム頂面(13)の最大当接直径(Dc)よりも小さいシム頂面(13)の所定の中間直径(Db)に沿った中間直径部位(b)が最も高く、中間直径部位(b)から交線(a)までの中心寄り部位(16)が中間直径部位(b)から交線(a)に向かうほど低くなる形状である請求項1記載の動弁機構用シム。
- 所定の中間直径(Db)が、最大当接直径(Dc)の20%以上である請求項2記載の動弁機構用シム。
- 交線(a)が、中間直径部位(b)に対して1〜30μm低い請求項3記載の動弁機構用シム。
- シム頂面(13)の中心寄り部位(16)は、断面形状が中間直径(Db)の2〜200倍の曲率半径をなす曲面とされた請求項4記載の動弁機構用シム。
- シム頂面(13)の形状は、中間直径部位(b)からシム頂面周縁(d)までの周縁寄り部位(17)が中間直径部位(b)からシム頂面周縁(d)に向かうほど低くなる形状である請求項2〜5のいずれか一項に記載の動弁機構用シム。
- シム頂面周縁(d)が、中間直径部位(b)に対して1〜40μm低い請求項6記載の動弁機構用シム。
- シム頂面(13)の周縁寄り部位(17)は、断面形状が最大当接直径(Dc)の25〜300倍の曲率半径をなす曲面とされた請求項7記載の動弁機構用シム。
- ロッカアーム(3)のパット面(6)とバルブ(8)のステム端面(9)との間にシム(10)が介装され、パット面(6)が当接するシム頂面(13)は該シム頂面の中心(X)の回りに回転させて切削され、該シム頂面の中心(X)には該中心(X)が切削できないことからセンター穴(14)が凹設された動弁機構において、
パット面(6)にはクラウニングが付けられ、
シム頂面(13)の形状を、ロッカアーム(3)の揺動時にパット面(6)がセンター穴(14)の内周面(15)とシム頂面(13)との交線(a)に当接しない形状に設定したことを特徴とする動弁機構。
