Claims (23)
- 歯から生物膜を洗浄するための装置であって、
柄部及びノズル部材を含む本体と、
前記生物膜における細菌の効果的な除去に関連する範囲のサイズを持ち且つそれぞれが共鳴周波数を持つ液体媒体中の気泡の発生源と、
大部分の前記気泡の共鳴周波数に対応する周波数を含む超音波周波数範囲を持つ超音波信号の供給源であって、前記超音波信号は、前記ノズル部材における気泡及び液体の流れに適用される、超音波信号の供給源と、
を有し、前記気泡の発生源は、前記柄部のなかに配置され、前記気泡は、前記装置の動作中に前記ノズル部材に向けられ、前記サイズの前記範囲は、前記生物膜における細菌のサイズの範囲と略合致する装置。 - 前記超音波信号は、前記気泡が前記歯に向かって移動するときに前記気泡の凝集を略防止するオン/オフのパターンで生成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記オン/オフのパターンは、5%乃至70%の時間の間オンである、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記オンの時間は約50%の時間である、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記オフの時間は約0.1乃至1秒である、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記気泡のサイズの範囲及び前記超音波の周波数範囲は、細菌又は細菌のコロニーの前記歯からの除去のための前記細菌又は細菌のコロニーのサイズに関連する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記超音波信号は、100kHz乃至4MHzの範囲に中心周波数を持つ、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記中心周波数は、200kHz乃至2MHzの範囲を持つ、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記中心周波数は約400kHzである、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記中心周波数は約1MHzである、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記超音波信号は、20乃至200Hzの範囲内のバースト反復率を持つ超音波のバーストで生成される、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 各前記超音波バースト中の超音波のサイクルの数は、50乃至5000の範囲内である、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記超音波信号は、約50%の帯域幅を持つ、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記超音波の場のフォーカスの値の略周囲に、前記歯と超音波信号変換器との間に選択された距離を提供するスタンドオフ要素を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 超音波の影響下の共鳴における最大半径に対する、静止状態の前記気泡の半径は、約1:2.5である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 気泡サイズを比較的小さく保つための選択された量だけ前記液体に追加される界面活性剤の供給を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 気泡液体の速度は、0.1乃至10m/sの範囲内である、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 歯ブラシ柄部と、
ノズル部材と、
前記柄部から延在し、延在するカップ状部を持つ、歯ブラシヘッド部と、
前記カップ部に取り付けられ、前記カップ部からの超音波を送信するように動作可能に接続され、歯の表面にフォーカスさせられた、超音波変換器と、
生物膜における細菌の効果的な除去に関連するサイズを持つ液体媒体中の気泡の発生源と、
を有し、前記気泡の発生源は或る範囲の気泡サイズを提供し、超音波信号の供給源は或る範囲の周波数を提供し、前記超音波の周波数の範囲は、大部分の前記気泡の共鳴周波数に対応する周波数を含み、前記気泡の発生源は、前記歯ブラシ柄部のなかに配置され、前記気泡は、前記ノズル部材に向けられ、前記気泡サイズの前記範囲は、前記生物膜における細菌のサイズの範囲と略合致する、歯ブラシ。 - 前記気泡の発生源、及び前記変換器の動作のための駆動回路が、前記柄部に含められた、請求項18に記載の歯ブラシ。
- 前記気泡の発生源、及び前記変換器の動作のための駆動回路が、前記歯ブラシの外部の部材であって前記歯ブラシに動作可能に接続された部材に含められた、請求項18に記載の歯ブラシ。
- 前記歯ブラシヘッド部は、前記ヘッド部を略囲む複数の毛を含む、請求項18に記載の歯ブラシ。
- 超音波信号が、前記気泡が前記歯に向かって移動するときに前記気泡の凝集を略防止するオン/オフのパターンで生成される、請求項18に記載の歯ブラシ。
- 前記柄部は、器具の動作の間に前記歯ブラシヘッド部を振動させる構成要素を含む、請求項18に記載の歯ブラシ。
