Description
Claims (15)
- プリンター表面から印刷材料の一部を除去するための装置であって、
前記プリンター表面からサブストレートに画像を転写する前に、該プリンター表面から余分な印刷材料を除去するための流体リムーバーと、
コーティング材料を貯蔵するためのコーティング材料容器であって、前記プリンター表面から前記流体リムーバーのリムーバー面に転写される印刷材料の量を少なくするために、該コーティング材料を前記流体リムーバーの前記リムーバー面に加えるためのコーティング材料容器
を備える装置。 - 前記印刷材料はキャリア流体及びマーキング剤を含み、前記流体リムーバーは前記キャリア流体の少なくとも一部を除去し、前記コーティング材料は前記リムーバー面への前記マーキング剤の付着を低減する、請求項1の装置。
- 前記リムーバー面によって前記プリンター表面に圧力がかけられ、及び、前記リムーバー面は、前記プリンター表面と共にニップを形成し、前記プリンター表面から前記余分な印刷材料が除去される、請求項1または2の装置。
- 前記流体リムーバーの前記リムーバー面に圧力をかけて、前記流体リムーバーの前記リムーバー面上の前記コーティング材料の厚さを設定するためのコーティングブレードをさらに備える、請求項1〜3のいずれかの装置。
- 前記流体リムーバーの前記リムーバー面上の前記コーティング材料の厚さを設定するために、前記コーティングブレードが調整可能である、請求項4の装置。
- 前記印刷材料と前記コーティング材料が同じ材料である、請求項1〜5のいずれかの装置。
- 除去された前記余分な印刷材料と前記コーティング材料の少なくとも一方を収集するための収集トレーをさらに備える、請求項1〜6のいずれかの装置。
- 前記流体リムーバーが、前記ニップにある前記プリンター表面に圧力をかけて、前記余分な印刷材料を前記プリンター表面から除去するためのスクイジーローラーを備える、請求項3、または、請求項3を直接ないし間接に引用する請求項4〜7のいずれかの装置。
- 印刷材料を受けるためのプリンター表面と、
前記プリンター表面に接触して該プリンター表面に圧力をかけるためのリムーバー面を含む流体リムーバーであって、画像を前記プリンター表面からサブストレートに転写する前に、前記リムーバー面を前記プリンター表面に接触させて該プリンター表面に圧力をかけることによって、前記プリンター表面から前記印刷材料の一部を除去するための流体リムーバー
を備え、
前記リムーバー面は、コーティング材料で被覆され、前記コーティング材料によって、前記プリンター表面から前記リムーバー面に転写される印刷材料の量が低減される、プリンター。 - 前記リムーバー面に前記コーティング材料を加えるためのコーティング材料容器、及び、前記リムーバー面上の前記コーティング材料の厚さを設定するためのコーティングブレードをさらに備える、請求項9のプリンター。
- 前記リムーバー面上の前記コーティング材料の厚さを設定するために、前記コーティングブレードが調整可能である、請求項10のプリンター。
- 前記印刷材料が、前記サブストレートに加えるためのマーキング剤とキャリア流体とを含み、前記コーティング材料が、前記プリンター表面から前記リムーバー面への前記マーキング剤の転写を低減し、前記流体リムーバーは、前記キャリア流体の少なくとも一部を除去する、請求項9〜11のいずれかのプリンター。
- 前記流体リムーバーは、前記プリンター表面から前記印刷材料の前記一部を除去するために、ニップにある前記プリンター表面に圧力をかけるためのスクイジーローラーを備える、請求項9〜12のいずれかのプリンター。
- 前記スクイジーローラーは、前記プリンター表面から前記印刷材料の液体物質を除去するが、前記プリンター表面から前記印刷材料の固体物質は除去しないようにするために、前記ニップにある前記プリンター表面に圧力をかける、請求項13のプリンター。
- 前記コーティング材料は、前記印刷材料と同じ材料からなる、請求項9〜14のいずれかのプリンター。
