Claims (4)
- ガラス製造システムの一部として、溶融ガラスの撹拌および収容に使用される撹拌チャンバであって、
少なくとも1つの壁部および自身を通る流路を有するカバーと、
前記カバーの流路を経由して延在するシャフトであって、これにより該シャフトと前記カバーとの間で環状ギャップを形成するシャフトを備えた撹拌器と、
前記溶融ガラスの自由面上方の容積と、
前記溶融ガラスの自由面の上方に設置され、前記撹拌器のシャフトに対してほぼ直交して配置された平坦環状底部を有する凝縮物収集容器であって、前記底部が縁部および該縁部に隣接して接続された垂直方向に延びる側壁部を有し、該底部と該側壁部とが90〜120度の間の角度で交差し、該容器を前記シャフトに取り付ける環状カラーを備えた凝縮物収集容器と、
を備えたことを特徴とする撹拌チャンバ。 - 前記底部と前記側壁部との交差により生成される角度が、100度であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の撹拌チャンバ。
- ガス流の前記チャンバ内への流入および前記容量の経由を許容する少なくとも1つのガス流管をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の撹拌チャンバ。
- 前記シャフトの外表面から前記凝縮物収集容器の前記側壁部までの距離が、0.5〜2インチ(約1.27〜約5.04cm)の間にあることを特徴とする請求項1記載の撹拌チャンバ。
