Claims (13)
- ラックに設置される機器を追跡する方法であって、
フェライト素子をRFIDタグに取り付けるステップと、
前記RFIDタグを前記機器の載置部分に取り付けるステップと、
前記RFIDタグに作用する磁界を発生させるアンテナシステムを前記ラックに取り付けるステップと、
前記アンテナシステムに近接、かつ前記RFIDタグに対して遠位に、フェライト部材を設置するステップと、
前記アンテナシステムが確実に追跡すべき前記機器のRFIDタグと通信し、近隣の機器のRFIDタグと通信するいかなるクロストークをも起こさないような、前記RFIDタグのための安全動作領域を判定するステップと、
前記アンテナシステムと前記RFIDタグとの間の距離に応じて、さらに前記フェライト素子に応じて、前記アンテナシステムによって発生された前記磁界を形成するステップであって、前記フェライト素子に応じて前記磁界を形成するステップが前記ラックに設置された機器のうちの隣接した機器の間の距離に応じる、前記磁界を形成するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - アンテナシステムを前記ラックに取り付ける前記ステップが、前記ラックの載置支柱上に実施される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- RFIDタグを取り付ける前記ステップが、前記ラックの前記載置支柱にごく近接して、前記機器の載置耳部上に実施される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記磁界を形成する前記ステップが、前記フェライト素子と前記アンテナシステムとの間の距離にさらに応じる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記磁界を形成する前記ステップが、前記フェライト部材の材料特性にさらに応じる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記磁界を形成する前記ステップが、前記フェライト部材の寸法特性にさらに応じる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記RFIDタグのための安全動作領域を判定する前記ステップが、(i)PCBトレースの寸法特性、(ii)前記RFIDタグに設置されたフェライトコアの寸法特性、(iii)前記RFIDタグと、前記RFIDタグ近傍の金属表面との間の距離、及び(iv)前記アンテナシステムの動力伝達量の少なくとも1つに応じる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記RFIDタグが、決定可能なアンテナインピーダンス特性を有する近距離アンテナ素子と、決定可能な集積回路入力インピーダンス特性を有する集積回路とを有し、前記決定可能なアンテナインピーダンス特性および前記決定可能な集積回路入力インピーダンス特性を、それらの間の動力伝達の増大を達成するために、互いに実質的に等しくなるように構成するさらなるステップが提供される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ラックに設置される機器を追跡する方法であって、
RFIDタグを前記機器の載置部分に取り付けるステップと、
前記RFIDタグに作用する磁界を発生させるアンテナシステムを前記ラックに取り付けるステップと、
前記アンテナシステムと前記RFIDタグとの間の距離に応じて、前記アンテナシステムによって発生された前記磁界を形成するステップと、
フェライト素子を前記RFIDタグに取り付けるステップと、
前記フェライト素子に応じて前記磁界を形成するステップであって、前記フェライト素子に応じて前記磁界を形成するステップが前記ラックに設置された機器のうちの隣接した機器の間の距離に応じ、前記アンテナシステムが確実に追跡すべき前記機器のRFIDタグと通信し、近隣の機器のRFIDタグと通信するいかなるクロストークをも起こさないような、前記RFIDタグのための安全動作領域を判定する更なるステップが提供される、前記磁界を形成するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記RFIDタグのための安全動作領域を判定する前記ステップが、(i)PCBトレースの寸法特性、(ii)前記RFIDタグに設置されたフェライトコアの寸法特性、(iii)前記RFIDタグと、前記RFIDタグ近傍の金属表面との間の距離、及び(iv)前記アンテナシステムの動力伝達量の少なくとも1つに応じる、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記RFIDタグが、決定可能なアンテナインピーダンス特性を有する近距離アンテナ素子と、決定可能な集積回路入力インピーダンス特性を有する集積回路とを有し、前記決定可能なアンテナインピーダンス特性および前記決定可能な集積回路入力インピーダンス特性を、それらの間の動力伝達の増大を達成するために、互いに実質的に等しくなるように構成するさらなるステップが提供される、請求項9に記載の方法。
- アンテナシステムを前記ラックに取り付ける前記ステップが、前記ラックの載置支柱上に実施される、請求項9に記載の方法。
- RFIDタグを取り付ける前記ステップが、前記ラックの前記載置支柱にごく近接して、前記機器の載置耳部上に実施される、請求項12に記載の方法。
