Description
本出願は、2010年12月29日付けで出願された米国特許出願第12/980,848号に対する優先権を主張するものであり、この内容は、引用により、本明細書に完全に記述されているものとして本明細書に包含される。
また、本明細書に記載の技術は、下記の(1)〜(7)に記載の技術を含んでいてもよい。
(1)遠端部分と、近端部分とを有するコアワイヤであって、前記遠端部分は、遠位先端部を有する、コアワイヤと、
前記コアワイヤの前記遠端部分の周りに配設された細長い被覆であって、遠端と、近端とを有する被覆と、
前記ガイドワイヤの非外傷性遠位先端部を生成するために、前記コアワイヤの前記遠端部分と結合されると共に前記被覆の前記遠端と結合されるプラグと、
前記被覆の前記近端に近接して前記コアワイヤの前記遠端部分の周りに配設された管状スプリングであって、圧縮及び引張負荷を支持するように構成されるスプリングと、
を有するガイドワイヤ。
(2)前記スプリングは、前記被覆の前記近端に結合される上記(1)に記載のガイドワイヤ。
(3)前記スプリングは、
のり付け、
接合、
溶接、及び
はんだ付け、
のうちの少なくとも1つによって前記被覆の前記近端に結合される上記(2)に記載のガイドワイヤ。
(4)前記スプリングの外径は、前記被覆の外径と実質的に等しい上記(1)から(3)のいずれかに記載のガイドワイヤ。
(5)第1軸を有するガイドワイヤであって、
近端部分と、遠端部分と、第2軸とを有するコアワイヤであって、前記第2軸は、前記第1軸と実質的に一致する、コアワイヤと、
前記コアワイヤの周りに配設された細長い保護構造体であって、遠端を有する細長い保護構造体と、
前記コアワイヤの前記遠端部分及び前記細長い保護構造体の前記遠端と結合されたプラグであって、前記プラグは、遠位非外傷性先端部分を有し、前記コアワイヤと前記細長い保護構造体との間の内部空間は、センサを受け入れるように構成される、プラグと、
を有するガイドワイヤ。
(6)前記細長い保護構造体は、管状のスプリングである上記(5)に記載のガイドワイヤ。
(7)前記コアワイヤの周りに配設された管状スプリングを更に有し、前記細長い保護構造体は、ポリマーコーティングである上記(5)に記載のガイドワイヤ。
Claims (14)
- 近端部分と、遠端部分とを有するコアワイヤと、
前記コアワイヤの周りに配設された細長い被覆であって、遠端を有する被覆と、
前記コアワイヤの前記遠端部分及び前記被覆の前記遠端と結合されたプラグであって、前記プラグは、遠位非外傷性先端部分を有するプラグと、
前記コアワイヤと前記被覆との間の前記内部空間に配設されたセンサと、を備え、
前記センサは、
磁気透過性の材料を有すると共に軸を有するコアであって、前記コアは、貫通して軸方向に延在する管腔を有し、前記コアワイヤは、前記管腔を通じて延在する、コアと、
前記コアの周りに配設されたコイルと、を備え、
前記センサの遠端及び前記コアワイヤの遠位先端部は、前記プラグに結合され、
前記コアの遠端は、前記被覆の遠端を軸方向に超えて延在し、前記プラグに結合され、
前記コイルの遠端は、前記プラグに結合されていない、ガイドワイヤ。 - 前記被覆は、前記被覆の遠端の反対側の近端を更に含み、前記センサは、前記被覆の近端から見て軸方向において遠位に位置する請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記センサの前記遠端は、前記被覆の遠端を遠位方向において超えて軸方向に延在する請求項1または2に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 接続ノードにおいて前記センサに接続された少なくとも1つのワイヤを更に有し、前記被覆は、前記被覆の遠端の反対側の近端を更に含み、前記接続ノードは、前記被覆の近端から見て軸方向において遠位に位置する請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記少なくとも1つのワイヤは、ツイストペアケーブルを有する請求項4に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記センサと前記被覆との間にシースを更に有する請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記被覆は、放射線不透過性材料を有する請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のガイドワイヤ。
- (i)前記コアワイヤと前記センサとの間の第1クリアランス及び(ii)前記センサと前記被覆との間の第2クリアランス内に配設されたカプセル材料を更に有する請求項1から7のいずれかに記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記被覆の近端に隣接して前記コアワイヤの周りに配設された管状スプリングを更に有する請求項1から8のいずれかに記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記プラグは、
金属、
ポリマー、
接着剤、及び
接合材料
からなる群から選択される材料を有する請求項1から9のいずれかに記載のガイドワイヤ。 - 前記スプリングは、前記被覆の前記近端の近位にある請求項9に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記スプリングは、前記被覆の前記近端に結合される請求項11に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記スプリングは、
