Description
The present invention relates to a construction machine such as a large-sized hydraulic excavator or a dismantling machine including the excavator as a base.
Construction machines such as hydraulic excavators are mounted on a crawler-type lower traveling body so that the upper swinging body can swing freely around an axis perpendicular to the ground, and excavation and dismantling work is performed at the front center of the upper swinging body. A front attachment for performing the above, a cabin on the left side of the front part, and a counterweight on the rear end part, respectively.
In this specification, “front and rear” and “left and right” refer to directions when the front attachment side is the front.
The upper swing body is provided with an engine room at the rear and in front of the counterweight where the engine and related equipment (heat exchanger, cooling fan, etc.) are installed. In this device accommodating portion, valves and tanks are covered with a cover material or exposed.
In such construction machines, particularly large construction machines, in order to facilitate maintenance of the equipment installed in the engine room and equipment housing section, as shown in
This maintenance passage is formed as a groove-like passage by the side walls on the front and rear sides and the rear side of the passage and the bottom plate (floor plate).
On the other hand, in a large construction machine, it is necessary to remove the front attachment and the counterweight from the upper swing body in order to meet the weight limit during transportation.
Therefore, it is desirable to provide an access passage on the upper surface on at least one of the left and right sides of the upper swing body separately from the maintenance passage so that the worker can easily access the attachment / detachment portion of the front attachment and the counterweight.
This access passage is preferably provided over a certain length range in the front-rear direction from the front end portion of the upper swing body provided with the lift opening to the front of the counterweight.
As a passage similar to this access passage,
When both maintenance and access passages are provided as described above, the maintenance passages are provided in the left-right direction and the access passages are provided in the front-rear direction, so that both passages intersect at the entrance / exit portion of the maintenance passage.
Here, the maintenance passage is desirably provided at a relatively low position in accordance with the installation level of the maintenance target device such as the engine. On the other hand, the access passage is preferably provided at a higher position than the maintenance passage because an operator needs to go up to a high place, particularly on the upper surface of the counterweight.
That is, both the passages are provided with a step so that they intersect as described above and the access passage is at a high level.
When this passage configuration is adopted, in order to ensure the continuity of the access passage, it is necessary to provide a cover member serving as a floor plate of the access passage at the intersection.
Since this cover member is provided in a state in which the maintenance passage is covered from above at the intersection, the effective height of the maintenance passage is too low in this state, and the worker cannot actually pass. For this reason, it is necessary to remove this cover member from the crossing part at the time of maintenance.
However, when the cover member is removed, the access passage is divided at the intersection, so that it is necessary to ensure safety by stopping the passage of another worker.
As a countermeasure against this point, a dedicated circuit breaker for blocking traffic is placed in front of the intersection (usually the front of the intersection because the elevator is at the front end) so that the access passage cannot be passed in the above state. However, it is not a good idea because this circuit breaker is prepared and it takes time to install / remove / store according to the situation and it takes time to install / remove.
Therefore, the present invention, on the premise of a passage configuration that crosses both maintenance and access passages at the entrance and exit side of the maintenance passage, and has a step, can block the passage of the access passage divided at the intersection during maintenance, In addition, a construction machine is provided that can perform this blocking by a passage component.
As means for solving the above problems, the present invention has all the following requirements (A) to (G).
(A) An upper swing body is rotatably mounted on the lower traveling body, and the upper swing body is a maintenance path extending in the left-right direction for performing maintenance of equipment such as an engine as a path for an operator, Having an access passage extending in the front-rear direction for an operator to move in the front-rear direction on at least one side of the upper swing body.
(B) The maintenance passage must have an entrance for workers to enter and exit at one end.
(C) The maintenance and the access passage intersect at the end of the maintenance passage on the entrance and exit side, and are provided with a step so that the access passage becomes higher.
(D) A maintenance passage so as not to obstruct the passage of the maintenance passage and a first position as a floor plate connected to the access passage in a state of covering the maintenance passage from above with an intersection cover member at the intersection of the two passages Provided so as to be movable between the second position deviated from above.
(E) A guard rail, which is a protective fence for preventing falling, is provided along the access path at the outer edge of the access path.
(F) An intersection guard member serving as a protective fence for the intersection is provided on the outer edge of the intersection.
(G) Regarding at least one of the intersection cover member and the intersection guard member, the second position is different from the first position in the case of the intersection cover member, and different from the first position serving as a protective fence in the case of the intersection guard member. As the second position, the access passage has a position where the access passage is blocked in front of the intersection, and is configured as a dual-purpose member that can be rotated between the first position and the second position. .
According to this configuration, when the access passage is used, the intersection cover member serves as a floor plate of the access passage at the intersection, and the continuity of the access passage is ensured.
On the other hand, at the time of maintenance (when the maintenance passage is used), the intersection cover member moves to the second position where it is removed from above the passage so as not to obstruct the passage of the maintenance passage. Become.
Then, in a state in which the intersection cover member is moved to the second position, that is, in a state in which the floor board at the intersection portion of the access passage is eliminated, the access passage is at the intersection portion by at least one of the cover member and the intersection guard member. Since it is shut off in front, it is possible to ensure the safety of workers trying to pass through the access passage.
Moreover, since the above-mentioned interruption can be performed by a passage component member (also used as an intersection cover member or an intersection guard member), it is necessary to prepare another dedicated breaker, and this breaker is installed / removed and stored. There is no need to do extra work. In addition, blocking / unblocking can be performed quickly.
In the present invention, the intersection guard member is used as the dual-purpose member, and the first position located above the entrance and entrance alongside the guard rail of the access passage, and the space above the entrance and exit is widened and the space above the entrance and exit is expanded. It is desirable that the access passage is provided so as to be rotatable between a second position where the access passage is blocked (Claim 2).
According to this configuration, since the upper space of the entrance / exit can be expanded in a state where the crossing guard member is moved to the second position (blocking position), the crossing guard member when the worker enters and exits the maintenance passage. You don't have to worry about hitting your head, and you don't have to be extremely bent forward to avoid this, making it easier to get in and out.
In the present invention, it is desirable that the deck is provided in the front-rear direction on the outer surface of the upper swing body on the side where the entrance / exit of the maintenance passage is provided, so as to be an entrance path to the maintenance passage.
According to this configuration, it is possible to easily and safely enter and exit the maintenance passage using the deck.
In the present invention, a non-intersection cover member that covers the maintenance path from above other than the intersection is provided above the maintenance path, and the non-intersection cover member and the intersection cover at the first position are provided. It is desirable that the maintenance passage is configured as an air passage that is closed at the entire length by the member (claim 4).
In this way, if the maintenance passage is configured to be an air passage except during maintenance, the passage can be effectively used as a passage for cooling air (exhaust or intake air) passed through the heat exchanger in the engine room, It becomes possible to increase the cooling efficiency of the heat exchanger.
According to the present invention, on the premise of a passage configuration in which both maintenance and access passages intersect at the entrance and exit side of the maintenance passage and have a step, it is possible to block the access passage that is divided at the intersection during maintenance, In addition, this blocking can be performed by the passage component member.
1 to 3 show a base machine of a construction machine according to an embodiment.
This base machine is configured such that an
In addition, an
In the figure, the
A maintenance passage 7 (shown with a slanting line on the left in FIG. 3) extending in the left-right direction is provided between the

Since there is a step between the
As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the
On the other hand, in order to allow the worker to easily access the attachment / detachment portion of the front attachment and the
The
Here, since the
Further, as described above, the
That is, both the
In this passage configuration, in order to ensure the continuity of the
The
In addition, a
That is, the
Here, the
Accordingly, the
Thus, at the time of maintenance, as shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and 6, both
On the other hand, a
In addition, an
The
Here, since the
Therefore, the
Thereby, since the upper space of the entrance /
Both the
1 to 4, 7, and 8, a
The
In other words, the mounting positions, dimensions, and the like of both
Thus, the
As described above, according to this construction machine, when the
On the other hand, at the time of maintenance (when the maintenance passage is used), the
Then, in a state where the
In this case, since the
In addition, since the above-described interruption can be performed by the passage component members of the
In addition, according to this construction machine, the following effects can be obtained.
