- 内燃機関(19)の排気ライン(2)内に配置されて、排ガス中の比較的大きな粒子を捕獲するための中空体(1)であって、
前記中空体(1)は、少なくとも2つの少なくとも部分的に反対の位置にある開口(7)の間に、そして第1の長手方向(3)に関して延びる少なくとも1つの少なくとも部分的に透過性の壁(6)を有し、
前記少なくとも部分的に透過性の壁(6)は、高さ(12)を有して、前記第1の長手方向(3)に少なくとも部分的に沿って延びる隆起部(10)および窪み部(11)を有し、
前記中空体(1)は、第1の断面積(5)を定義する主要な断面形状(4)と、第2の断面積(8)を定義する少なくとも1つの開口(7)とを有し、
前記第2の断面積(8)は、前記第1の断面積(5)よりも大きく、
前記主要な断面形状(4)は、外径(35)および内径(38)を有し、前記外径(35)と前記内径(38)との間に、前記隆起部(10)および前記窪み部(11)があり、
前記窪み部(11)は、一定の間隔で前記外径(35)と接触する一方、前記隆起部(10)は、前記内径(38)と接触し、
前記外径(35)および前記第1の断面積(5)は、前記第2の断面積(8)に関して幅(36)の差で凹んでおり、

前記中空体(1)は、少なくとも1つの開口(7)の領域において前記隆起部(10)および窪み部(11)を有しない滑らかな壁(6)を有して形成される、中空体(1)。 - 前記主要な断面形状(4)は、幅(36)に関して前記第2の断面積(8)まで拡がり、前記幅(36)は、前記高さ(12)の少なくとも30%および多くても300%に達する、請求項1に記載の中空体(1)。
- 前記中空体(1)は、前記第1の断面積(5)の領域において第1の周長(13)を有し、前記少なくとも1つの開口(7)の領域において第2の周長(14)を有し、前記第1の周長(13)は、前記第2の周長(14)から多くても35%相違する、請求項1または2に記載の中空体(1)。
- 前記中空体(1)は、前記第1の長手方向(3)に沿って延びる第1の長さ(32)を有し、前記主要な断面形状(4)は、前記第1の長手方向(3)に沿って延びる第2の長さ(33)を有し、前記第2の長さ(33)は、前記第1の長さ(32)の少なくとも50%および多くても90%に達する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の中空体(1)。
- 前記少なくとも部分的に透過性の壁(6)は、ワイヤフィラメント(16)でできたファブリック(15)を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の中空体(1)。
- 第2の長手方向(20)を有し、そして第3の断面積(21)を有する排気ライン(2)を有する排ガス処理装置(18)であって、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の少なくとも1つの中空体(1)において、前記第3の断面積(21)に対応する前記第2の断面積(8)は、前記排気ライン(2)内に配置され、そしてさらに、前記中空体(1)の前記壁(6)は、排ガスの再循環ライン(23)への入口(22)を前記排気ライン(2)から切り離す、排ガス処理装置(18)。
