Claims (15)
- 炎をシミュレートするための装置であって、
内部空間を含むハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの内部空間の中へ延びる時間変化する電磁場を発生させる駆動機構と、
前記内部空間内に旋回可能に取り付けられた振子部材であって、前記駆動機構に隣接して配置されている第1の端部上の磁石または強磁性体のタグと、前記駆動機構から離れて配置されている第2の端部から延びる炎シルエット要素とを備え、該第1の端部上の磁石または強磁性体のタグは前記時間変化する電磁場と相互作用する、振子部材と、
炎シルエット要素上に光を送る光源と、を含む装置。 - 前記時間変化する磁場に応答して、前記振子部材は時間を通じてランダムなパターンにより変位する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記磁石または強磁性体のタグと前記時間変化する磁場との間の相互作用に応答して、前記炎シルエット要素を備える前記振子部材が時間を通じてランダムなパターンにより変位することによって、前記炎シルエット要素は前記光源から光を受け取るのと同時に運動する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記駆動機構は、ワイヤからなるコイルと、時間変化する電流を前記コイルに提供して時間変化する磁場を発生させる信号生成器と、を含む請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記信号生成器は、シヌソイド出力を発生させるか、または断続的に中断される方形波を生成する、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記振子部材は、振子支持部材を用いて前記内部空間内に旋回可能に取り付けられており、前記振子支持部材は各端部において前記ハウジングの側壁に取り付けられており、前記振子支持部材は前記振子部材の孔を通じて延びている、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記孔は、前記時間変化する電磁場に応答する前記振子部材の第1の端部の動きが前記
振子部材の第2の端部の動きの2倍以上であるように、前記振子部材に配置されている、請求項6に記載の装置。 - 前記振子支持部材は、V字形の剛体ワイヤである、請求項6または7に記載の装置。
- 前記光源は、前記炎シルエット要素上において上方へ光を放出するように前記ハウジング内に配置されている、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記駆動機構は結合部材をさらに備え、該結合部材は、前記内部空間内に旋回可能に前記コイルと前記振子部材の第1の端部との間に取り付けられた第1のステージ振子部材を備える、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記第1のステージ振子部材は、第1の端部上の第1の磁石と第2の端部上の第2の磁石とを備え、前記第1のステージ振子部材の第1の端部は、前記コイルに隣接して配置されており、それによって前記第1の磁石は前記時間変化する電磁場と相互作用する、請求項10に記載の装置。
- ランダムなパターンによる前記第1のステージ振子部材の変位に応答して、前記振子部材が別のランダムなパターンにより変位することによって、前記炎シルエット要素は前記光源から光を受け取るのと同時に運動する、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記振子部材および前記第1のステージ振子部材は各々長尺状の本体を備え、前記第1のステージ振子部材の本体は、前記第1のステージ振子部材の前記第2の端部に隣接した第1の場所にて第1の支持要素によって旋回可能に支持されており、前記振子部材の本体は、前記振子部材の前記第2の端部に隣接した第2の場所にて第2の支持要素によって旋回可能に支持されている、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の支持要素は、前記ハウジングの内部空間に渡り、かつ、前記第1のステージ振子部材における前記第1の場所の孔を通じて延びる剛体を含み、前記第2の支持要素は、前記ハウジングの内部空間に渡り、かつ、前記振子部材における前記第2の場所の孔を通じて延びる剛体を含む、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記第1のステージ振子部材における前記第1の場所は、前記第1の磁石と前記第2の磁石との間において前記第1の磁石よりも前記第2の磁石の近傍に配置されている、請求項14に記載の装置。
