Claims (10)
- 検出器でそれと対になった発光器から受け取った電磁放射線の量を決定するための相関性発光器−検出器対を有する装置であって、電磁放射線を放出するように動作可能な発光器のアレイおよび前記電磁放射線を検出するように動作可能な検出器のアレイと、
前記発光器のアレイが実質的に同じクロック周波数で電磁放射線のパルスを放出するように前記発光器のアレイを制御するように構成された駆動制御回路であり、前記パルスの振幅が1組の相互直交2値ベクトルを使用して変調され、前記アレイの各発光器がそれに関連する異なる相互直交2値ベクトルを有する、駆動制御回路と、
前記相関性発光器に関連する前記相互直交2値ベクトルを使用して前記検出器のアレイ中の各々の特定の検出器に到達する前記電磁放射線に対応する信号を処理し、その特定の検出器に関する検出信号を生成するように動作可能な検出回路であり、特定の検出器からの検出信号が、発光器−検出器対の特定の発光器から放出された電磁放射線に関連するように特定の前記発光器−検出器対間の相関を生成するように構成される、検出回路と、
を含み、
前記検出信号が、前記装置の近くの物体からの前記電磁放射線の反射によって増加され、
前記検出された電磁放射線の少なくとも一部が、前記装置の表面から全内部反射されており、前記表面に接触する物体による前記全内部反射電磁放射線の阻止によって減少し、
さらに、
前記物体のサイズおよび/または位置のデジタル表現を生成するように、各発光器−検出器対に対応する前記検出信号を処理するための検出回路に結合される処理回路であって、前記装置の近くにある物体と前記装置の前記表面に接触している物体とを区別し、近くの物体および接触物体のデジタル表現を生成するように動作可能である処理回路、
を含む、装置。 - 前記相互直交2値ベクトルがウォルッシュ関数を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記相互直交2値ベクトルがアダマール行列を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記相互直交2値ベクトルが前記アダマール行列のペーリー構成を含む、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記電磁放射線が赤外波長である、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の装置。
- タッチスクリーンを含むタッチスクリーンディスプレイデバイスであって、
前記デバイスが、使用中に、前記タッチスクリーンに近いおよび/または接触する物体のサイズおよび/または位置のデジタル表現を与えるように動作可能であり、
前記タッチスクリーンがバックプレーンを有し、
透明基板が前面を有し、
前記バックプレーンが前記バックプレーン上に設けられた複数の表示画素を含み、
前記複数の表示画素が表示のための画像を生成し、
前記タッチスクリーンディスプレイデバイスが、前記タッチスクリーンディスプレイデバイスに一体化された請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の装置をさらに含み、
前記発光器のアレイおよび前記検出器のアレイが前記表示画素の間に散在され、
前記放出された電磁放射線が前記透明基板の前記前面に到達するように前記透明基板に結合され、
前記透明基板の臨界角よりも小さい角度で発光器によって放出される前記電磁放射線が前記透明基板の前記前面を通して送出され、
前記透明基板の前記臨界角よりも大きい角度で前記発光器によって放出される前記電磁放射線が前記透明基板の前記前面で全内部反射され、
それによって、前記処理回路が、近接場物体からの直接反射に起因しうる各検出器によって受け取られる前記電磁放射線と、全内部反射され、前記前面に接触する物体によって阻止されうる前記電磁放射線とを決定し、
任意のそのような近接場物体および/または接触物体のデジタル表現を生成する、
タッチスクリーンディスプレイデバイス。 - 前記表示画素が有機発光ダイオード(OLED)である、請求項6に記載のタッチスクリーンディスプレイデバイス。
- 前記発光器が有機発光ダイオード(OLED)である、請求項6または7に記載のタッチスクリーンディスプレイデバイス。
- 前記検出器が有機光検出器である、請求項6から8のいずれかに記載のタッチスクリーンディスプレイデバイス。
- 前記発光器のアレイがアクティブマトリクスドライバ構成に結合される、請求項6から9のいずれか一項に記載のタッチスクリーンディスプレイデバイス。
