Claims (6)
- FRP積層成形により形成されるFRP製人工股関節用ステムにおいて、
該ステムは、身体前後方向に二分した分割面を平置き状態にしたとき上部外皮、主構造上半部、主構造下半部、下部外皮をなすFRP製構造要素を有し、これらを積重して加熱・加圧することにより各構造要素に含浸されている樹脂が溶融して得られる一体化物であり、
上記の上部外皮と下部外皮とは、±45度配向した炭素繊維に熱可塑性樹脂を含浸させたプリプレグシートの湾曲体であり、
前記主構造上半部と主構造下半部とは、炭素繊維に熱可塑性樹脂を含浸させたプリプレグシートの平坦積層体であり、
前記上部外皮と下部外皮との重畳部は、両半部を一体化した主構造の左右部位において表面に段差を生じさせることなく形成されていることを特徴とする複合材人工股関節用ステムの構造。 - 前記主構造の各半部を形成するプリプレグシートは、その繊維が0/90度配向材と±45度配向材とが交互に積層され、各主構造半部の擬似等方性化が図られていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載された複合材人工股関節用ステムの構造。
- 前記外皮は、その表面に樹脂コンパウンドを溶融させて形成した被膜を有することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載された複合材人工股関節用ステムの構造。
- 前記主構造半部におけるプリプレグシートの積層平坦面は、球面継手を支持するネック部の上端面中心点とステムの骨幹側端の中心点を結ぶ縦基準線を含み、ステムに作用するせん断荷重を損失最小で負担する方向を与える線を含む面に選定されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載された複合材人工股関節用ステムの構造。
- 前記主構造半部におけるプリプレグシートの積層平坦面は、前記ステムの縦基準線を含み、その積層数が最も少なくなる方向を与える線を含む面に選定されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載された複合材人工股関節用ステムの構造。
- 請求項1ないし請求項5に記載された人工股関節用ステムを製造するにおいて、成形型に前記FRP製構造要素を装填した後は耐熱樹脂フィルム製バッグで全体を被覆し、該成形型を加熱・加圧する間、前記樹脂フィルム製バッグ内を真空にすることを特徴とする複合材人工股関節用ステムの製造方法。
