Claims (13)
- バッテリーセルのアノード端子及びカソード端子であって、板状の導電性部材からなると共に保護回路モジュール(PCM)に電気的に接続された前記アノード端子及び前記カソード端子と、
バッテリーセルであって、該バッテリーセルの一方の端部に形成された前記アノード端子及び前記カソード端子を有し、前記端部に熱溶接余剰部分が設けられている前記バッテリーセルと、
表面に保護回路が形成されたプリント回路基板(PCB)であって、該PCBの一方側にカソード端子接続部分及びアノード端子接続部分が設けられていると共に前記プリント回路基板の他方側に外部出入力端子接続部が設けられている前記PCBと、前記PCBの前記外部出入力端子接続部を介して前記PCBの前記保護回路に電気的に接続されている外部入出力端子と、電気的絶縁性を有するPCMケースと、を備えるPCMと、
を備えており、前記PCMケース内に前記PCBが挿入方式で取り付けられ、前記PCBは、前記PCBが前記バッテリーセルの本体の上端と向かい合う方向で前記バッテリーセルの前記熱溶接余剰部分に載せられ、
前記アノード端子接続部分の一端およびカソード端子接続部分の一端が曲げられるように、前記アノード端子接続部分の他端およびカソード端子接続部分の他端はL字状に延在し、
前記PCMケースが、前記PCMを、前記外部入出力端子を除いて覆い、
前記PCMケースの一端がスリットの形で開口され、その開口を通して前記PCBが挿入される中空ボックス構造となるように、前記PCMケースが構成され、かつ
前記外部入出力端子は前記PCBの一方側に接続され、かつ前記アノード端子接続部分およびカソード端子接続部分は、前記アノード端子接続部分およびカソード端子接続部分がそれぞれ前記アノード端子およびカソード端子に対応するように、前記PCBの他方側に形成されている、二次電池パック。 - 前記熱溶接余剰部分の電極端子露出領域にさらに貼り付けられる絶縁テープをさらに備えている、請求項1に記載された二次電池パック。
- 前記絶縁テープが両面粘着テープである、請求項2に記載された二次電池パック。
- 前記バッテリーセルが、カソード/セパレータ/アノード構造の電極アッセンブリであって金属層及び樹脂層を備える積層シートからなるバッテリーケース内に密封された状態で取り付けられている前記電極アッセンブリを有する二次電池である、請求項1に記載された二次電池パック。
- 前記PCBがフレキシブルプリント回路基板(FPCB)である、請求項1に記載された二次電池パック。
- 前記アノード端子及び/又は前記カソード端子と前記PCBとの間にさらに取り付けられる安全要素をさらに備えており、前記安全要素が、前記PCBと共に前記PCMケース内に挿入方式で取り付けられている、請求項1に記載された二次電池パック。
- 前記外部入出力端子が、前記外部入出力端子の一端にコネクタが取り付けられているプレート構造となるように構成されている、請求項1に記載された二次電池パック。
- 前記カソード端子の一方側にさらに取り付けられるニッケル板をさらに備え、該ニッケル板は、前記PCBの前記カソード端子接続部分に超音波溶接によって結合されている、請求項1に記載された二次電池パック。
- 前記PCM及び前記バッテリーセルを覆うために、前記PCM及び前記バッテリーセルに前記外部入出力端子と前記PCMの先端とを除いて貼り付けられるラベルをさらに備える、請求項1に記載された二次電池パック。
- 前記ラベルが、前記PCM、及び前記バッテリーセルの外側に設けられた熱溶接外周部を、前記外部入出力端子と前記PCMの先端とを除いて覆う構造となるように構成されている、請求項9に記載された二次電池パック。
- 板状のバッテリーセルの先端に取り付けられる保護回路モジュール(PCM)であって、前記バッテリーセルが、電極端子が前記PCMの上端に形成される複数の電極端子を有し、前記複数の電極端子の各々が板状の導電性部材からなる、PCMにおいて、
前記PCMが、表面に保護回路が形成されたプリント回路基板(PCB)であって、該PCBの一方側にカソード端子接続部分及びアノード端子接続部分が設けられていると共に前記PCBの他方側に外部出入力端子接続部が設けられている前記PCBと、記PCBの前記外部出入力端子接続部を介して前記PCBの前記保護回路に電気的に接続されている外部入出力端子と、前記PCMを、前記外部入出力端子を除いて覆う、電気的絶縁性を有するPCMケースと、を備えており、前記PCB及び安全要素が、アノード端子及びカソード端子が前記PCBに電気的に接続される状態で前記PCMケース内に挿入方式で取り付けられ、
前記PCBは、前記PCBが前記バッテリーセルの本体の上端と向かい合う方向で前記バッテリーセルの熱溶接余剰部分に載せられ、
前記アノード端子接続部分の一端およびカソード端子接続部分の一端が曲げられるように、前記アノード端子接続部分の他端およびカソード端子接続部分の他端はL字状に延在し、
前記PCMケースの一端がスリットの形で開口され、その開口を通して前記PCBが挿入される中空ボックス構造となるように、前記PCMケースが構成され、かつ
前記外部入出力端子は前記PCBの一方側に接続され、かつ前記アノード端子接続部分およびカソード端子接続部分は、前記アノード端子接続部分およびカソード端子接続部分がそれぞれ前記アノード端子およびカソード端子に対応するように、前記PCBの他方側に形成されている、保護回路モジュール。 - 請求項1から10の何れか一項に記載された二次電池パックの製造方法であって、
(a)ニッケル板を、バッテリーセルのカソード端子の先端に超音波溶接によって接続するステップと、
(b)前記バッテリーセルのアノード端子及び前記カソード端子を、PCBの背面に形成されたアノード端子接続部分及びカソード端子接続部分に、スポット溶接によって接続するステップと、
(c)前記バッテリーセルの電極端子を折り曲げてPCMを前記バッテリーセルの熱溶接余剰部分に取り付けるステップと、
(d)PCMケースであって、前記PCMケースの一端がスリットの形で開口され、その開口を通して外部入出力端子が外部に向かって延在する中空ボックス構造となるように構成された前記PCMケースの中に前記PCMを挿入させるステップと、
(e)前記PCM、及び前記バッテリーセルの外側に設けられた熱溶接外周部を、前記外部入出力端子と前記PCMの先端とを除いてラベルで覆うステップと、
を含む方法。 - 絶縁テープを、前記熱溶接余剰部分の電極端子露出領域に貼り付けるステップをさらに含む、請求項12に記載された方法。
