Description

Claims (16)
- 流体の容器から試料を抽出するために用いられる形式のピペット先端であって、近位端と遠位端との間に延びる細長本体を含み、前記細長本体は流体経路が前記本体を貫いて前記遠位端から前記近位端に向かって延びる、ピペット先端において、
前記流体経路に沿って流れる流体を識別するために配置され、前記試料に関する情報を測定する検知器構成要素を備え、
前記本体は、前記流体経路の少なくとも一部分を設けるように構成および配置された複数の層を備え、
前記検知器構成要素は、第1の隣接層と第2の隣接層との間に支持された第1の導電配線を備え、前記第1の配線の少なくとも第1の部分は、前記流体経路に沿って流れる流体と接触するように配置された、ピペット先端。 - 請求項1に記載のピペット先端において、
隣接層間に支持された第2の導電配線をさらに備え、前記第2の配線の少なくとも第2の部分は、前記流体経路に沿って流れる流体と接触するように配置された、ピペット先端。 - 請求項2に記載のピペット先端において、
前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分は、前記流体経路に沿って離間されて、同じ層間に支持された、ピペット先端。 - 請求項2に記載のピペット先端において、
前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分は、前記流体経路に沿って離間されて、異なる層間に支持された、ピペット先端。 - 請求項1に記載のピペット先端において、
前記検知器構成要素は、前記流体経路に沿った特定の位置に流体境界縁が存在することを検出するように構成および配置された、ピペット先端。 - 請求項1に記載のピペット先端において、
前記ピペット先端がピペットの中に組み込まれたときに、前記ピペット先端の検出を可能にするように適合された構造をさらに備えた、ピペット先端。 - 請求項1に記載のピペット先端において、
ピペットであって、前記ピペットは、前記流体経路の近位部分に対して吸引力を付与することを可能にするとともに、前記検知器構成要素を試料を識別するための電気的識別装置と回路内に配置されるように、前記ピペット先端の前記近位端と結合するように構成および配置された、ピペットと結合された、ピペット先端。 - 請求項1に記載のピペット先端を使用する方法において、
請求項1に記載のピペット先端を設けるステップと、
前記検知器構成要素を試料を識別するための電気的識別装置と電気連通状態にするとともに、前記流体経路の近位端を吸引力源と連通状態にするピペットに前記ピペット先端を結合するステップと、
試料を前記ピペット先端の中へ引き込む前記吸引力源を付与するステップと、
前記試料の一部分が前記流体経路に沿って流れるときに、前記試料の一部分を電気的に識別するステップと、
前記ピペット先端を廃棄するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 請求項8に記載の方法において、
前記吸引力源を付与するステップは、
過剰な吸引圧力であって、
試料を前記ピペット先端の中へ引き込むように機能可能な第1の吸引圧力と、
引き続く所望の吸引圧力分布と、
を付与する、前記ピペットに関連する構造によって後に下方調整される、過剰な吸引圧力を生成する、方法。 - 流体の容器から試料を抽出するために用いられる形式のピペット先端において、
細長本体であって、前記本体の遠位先端の少なくとも近傍から前記本体の近位端に配置された取付け構造に向かって延びる流体経路を設けるように構成および配置された複数の層を備え、
前記取付け構造は、前記取付け構造が、流体を動かす差圧を前記流体経路に付与するピペットに結合されたときに、前記遠位先端を自立型の片持ち式要素として配置するために、前記本体と調和して構成および配置された、細長本体と、
前記流体経路に沿って流れる流体を電気的に識別する、前記流体経路の中に配置された検知器構成要素とを備え、
前記検知器構成要素は、第1の隣接層と第2の隣接層との間に支持された第1の導電配線を備え、前記第1の配線の少なくとも第1の部分は、前記流体経路に沿って流れる流体と接触するように配置された、ピペット先端。 - 請求項10に記載のピペット先端において、
前記流体経路の前記遠位端は、遠位に開く試料孔を介して連通する、ピペット先端。 - 請求項10に記載のピペット先端において、
前記流体経路は、蛇行指定経路であり、
流体流ベクトルを近位方向へ配向させるように構成および配置された第1の範囲と、
流体流ベクトルに、前記近位方向を横断する方向へ配向された成分を持たせるように構成および配置された第2の範囲と、
を含む、ピペット先端。 - 請求項12に記載のピペット先端において、
前記蛇行指定経路は、
流体流ベクトルを遠位方向へ配向させるように構成および配置された第3の範囲をさらに含む、ピペット先端。 - 請求項12に記載のピペット先端において、
前記蛇行指定経路に沿った流体流の中心線軸は、3次元空間を画定する、ピペット先端。 - 請求項10に記載のピペット先端において、
