Description
本発明は、例えば以下の項目を提供する。
(項目1)
無線LANシステムにおけるマルチユーザ送信のためのリンク適応手順を実行する方法において、
AP(Access Point)が複数のステーションに送信したMCSフィードバック要求(MCS Feedback Request)を受信する段階;
他のステーションに送信された前記MCSフィードバック要求に相応する空間的ストリーム(spatial stream)を考慮してMCSを推定する段階;及び、
推定された前記MCSを含むMCSフィードバック応答(MCS Feedback Response)を前記APに送信する段階;
を含むリンク適応手順実行方法。
(項目2)
前記MCSフィードバック要求は、前記MCSフィードバック要求を受信する各々のステーションに相応するプリコーディングベクトル(pre−coding vector)によって調整されたサウンディングPPDU(steered Sounding PPDU)に含まれて送信されることを特徴とする項目1に記載のリンク適応手順実行方法。
(項目3)
前記MCSフィードバック要求は、前記MCSフィードバック要求及びMCSフィードバック応答に相応するMCSフィードバックシーケンス識別子(MCS Feedback Sequence Identifier)を含み、同じMCSフィードバックシーケンスによって複数の前記ステーションに受信されるMCSフィードバック要求及び複数の前記ステーションから送信されるMCSフィードバック応答のMCSフィードバックシーケンス識別子は同じであることを特徴とする項目1に記載のリンク適応手順実行方法。
(項目4)
MCSフィードバック要求は、前記MCSフィードバック要求に相応する複数の前記MCSフィードバック応答の順序を指定するMCSフィードバック順序(MCS Feedback Order)を含み、前記MCSフィードバック応答は、前記MCSフィードバック順序による時点に送信することを特徴とする項目1に記載のリンク適応手順実行方法。
(項目5)
前記MCSフィードバック要求は、NDP告知(NDP(Null Data Packet)Announcement)と共に受信され、前記NDP告知と前記MCSフィードバック要求の以後にNDPフレームをAPから受信する段階をさらに含む項目1に記載のリンク適応手順実行方法。
(項目6)
前記NDPフレームを用いてMCSを推定することを特徴とする項目5に記載のリンク適応手順実行方法。
(項目7)
前記MCSフィードバック要求は、リンクトレーニング要求メッセージと共に該当ステーションに相応するプリコーディングベクトルによって調整されたサウンディングPPDUに含まれて受信され、前記MCSフィードバック応答を未調整されたサウンディングPPDU(Unsteered Sounding PPDU)に含んで前記APに送信し、前記APは、前記未調整されたサウンディングPPDUを用いてチャネル推定を実行することを特徴とする項目1に記載のリンク適応手順実行方法。
(項目8)
WLANにおけるマルチユーザ送信のためのリンク適応手順を実行する方法において、
複数のステーションにMCSフィードバック要求を送信する段階;及び、
前記ステーションから推定されたMCSを含むMCSフィードバック応答を受信する段階;を含み、
前記ステーションは、他のステーションに同時に送信されたMCSフィードバック要求に相応する空間的ストリームを考慮して前記MCSを推定し、前記MCSフィードバック応答を送信することを特徴とするリンク適応手順実行方法。
(項目9)
前記MCSフィードバック要求を受信する各々の前記ステーションに相応するプリコーディングベクトルによって調整されたサウンディングPPDUに前記MCSフィードバック要求を含んで送信することを特徴とする項目8に記載のリンク適応手順実行方法。
(項目10)
前記MCSフィードバック要求は、NDP告知(NDP(Null Data Packet)Announcement)と共に送信し、前記NDP告知と前記MCSフィードバック要求の送信の以後にNDPフレームを送信する段階をさらに含み、前記ステーションは、前記NDPフレームを用いてMCSを推定することを特徴とする項目8に記載のリンク適応手順実行方法。
(項目11)
前記MCSフィードバック要求は、リンクトレーニング要求メッセージと共に各々の前記ステーションに相応するプリコーディングベクトルによって調整されたサウンディングPPDUに含まれて送信され、未調整されたサウンディングPPDU(Unsteered Sounding PPDU)に含まれている前記MCSフィードバック応答を各々の前記ステーションから受信し、前記未調整されたサウンディングPPDUを用いてチャネル推定を実行する段階をさらに含む項目8に記載のリンク適応手順実行方法。
(項目12)
マルチユーザ送信のためのリンク適応手順を実行する無線通信装置において、
APからMCSフィードバック要求を受信するRF部;及び、
前記MCSフィードバック要求を受信することによって他のステーションに送信されたMCSフィードバック要求に相応する空間的ストリームを考慮してMCSを推定し、推定されたMCS情報を含むMCSフィードバック応答を生成するプロセッサ;を含み、
前記RF部は、前記プロセッサが生成したMCSフィードバック応答を前記APに送信することを特徴とする無線通信装置。
(項目13)
MCSフィードバック要求に含まれている、前記MCSフィードバック要求に相応する複数の前記MCSフィードバック応答の順序を指定するMCSフィードバック順序(MCS Feedback Order)によって前記MCSフィードバック応答を送信することを特徴とする項目12に記載の無線通信装置。
(項目14)
前記MCSフィードバック要求がリンクトレーニング要求メッセージと共にサウンディングPPDUに含まれて受信される場合、前記プロセッサは、前記MCSフィードバック応答を未調整されたサウンディングPPDUに含ませて生成することを特徴とする項目12に記載の無線通信装置。
Claims (2)
- 移動ステーションによって無線ローカルエリアネットワークシステムにおいて通信する方法であって、該方法は、
該移動ステーションによって、複数の移動ステーションへのマルチユーザの複数の入力/複数の出力(MU MIMO)の送信を介して、アクセスポイント(AP)によって送信された第1のPPDU(Physical Layer Protocol Data Unit)を受信することであって、該第1のPPDUは、第1のフィードバックシーケンス識別子およびフィードバック順序を含み、該第1のフィードバックシーケンス識別子は、該複数のステーションの全てを識別する、ことと、
該移動ステーションによって、該移動ステーションが該第1のフィードバックシーケンス識別子により示される該複数のステーションのうちの1つに属することを決定することと、
該移動ステーションが該複数のステーションのうちの1つに属することが決定された場合に、該第1のPPDUに基づいてMIMOチャネルを推定することと、
該移動ステーションによって、第2のPPDUを該APへ送信することと
を含み、
該第1のフィードバックシーケンス識別子は、該複数のステーションの全てを示す値に設定され、
該フィードバック順序は、該第1のPPDUに対する応答を送信するための該複数の移動ステーションのうちの第1の移動ステーションを示し、
該第2のPPDUは、該MIMOチャネルのチャンネル情報と、該第1のフィードバックシーケンス識別子の該値を含む第2のフィードバックシーケンス識別子とを含む、方法。 - 無線ローカルエリアネットワークシステムにおいて通信する無線装置であって、該無線装置は、メモリと、該メモリに結合されたプロセッサとを含み、該プロセッサは、
複数の移動ステーションへのマルチユーザの複数の入力/複数の出力(MU MIMO)の送信を介して、アクセスポイント(AP)によって送信された第1のPPDU(Physical Layer Protocol Data Unit)を受信することであって、該第1のPPDUは、第1のフィードバックシーケンス識別子およびフィードバック順序を含み、該第1のフィードバックシーケンス識別子は、該複数のステーションの全てを識別する、ことと、
該無線装置が該第1のフィードバックシーケンス識別子により示される該複数のステーションのうちの1つに属することを決定することと、
該無線装置が該複数のステーションのうちの1つに属することが決定された場合に、該第1のPPDUに基づいてMIMOチャネルを推定することと、
第2のPPDUを該APへ送信することと
を実行するように構成され、
該第1のフィードバックシーケンス識別子は、該複数のステーションの全てを示す値に設定され、
該フィードバック順序は、該第1のPPDUに対する応答を送信するための該複数の移動ステーションのうちの第1の移動ステーションを示し、
該第2のPPDUは、該MIMOチャネルのチャンネル情報と、該第1のフィードバックシーケンス識別子の該値を含む第2のフィードバックシーケンス識別子とを含む、無線装置。
