Claims (16)
- 患者に適用された併用電気療法を検出するためのシステムであって、
患者に埋め込まれるように構成され、かつ複数の電気療法パルスを含む併用電気療法を検出するように構成された埋め込み型医療装置(IMD)、を含み、
前記IMDは、
前記併用電気療法における前記療法パルスの少なくとも1つの特徴を含むストレージと、
電気パルスを検出するように構成され、かつ該検出された電気パルスの少なくとも1つの特徴を抽出するのに用いるための併用療法検出回路と、
前記検出された電気パルスの前記少なくとも1つの特徴を、前記療法パルスの前記少なくとも1つの格納された特徴と比較し、かつ該検出された電気パルスの該少なくとも1つの特徴が該療法パルスの該少なくとも1つの格納された特徴と比較して勝る場合に前記併用療法が前記患者に適用中であることを示すように構成されたコントローラと、を含む、

- 前記ストレージは、前記患者に適用される可能性がある複数の潜在的併用電気療法に関する少なくとも1つのパルス特徴のデータベースを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記患者に適用される可能性がある複数の潜在的併用電気療法に関する少なくとも1つのパルス特徴の外部データベースと、
前記外部データベースを用いて前記療法パルスの前記少なくとも1つの特徴を前記IMDの前記ストレージにプログラムするように構成された外部プログラマーと、
を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 - 前記コントローラは、前記示された併用療法に応答して、該併用療法が適用中であることを識別するマーカ情報を格納するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記IMDは、電気療法を送出し、かつ電気活動を感知して該電気療法を制御するように構成され、
前記コントローラは、前記示された併用療法に応答して、電気活動を感知するための特徴を修正するように構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 - 前記IMDは、診断情報を収集するように構成され、
前記コントローラは、前記併用療法が適用中である時に収集された診断情報と該併用療法が適用中ではない時に収集された診断情報とを区別するように構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項8のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 - 前記IMDは、電気療法を送出するように構成され、
前記コントローラは、前記併用療法が適用中であることが検出された場合に該電気療法を変更するように構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項9のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 - 前記コントローラは、学習モードで作動して、前記療法パルスの前記少なくとも1つの特徴を判断し、かつ該療法パルスの該少なくとも1つの特徴を用いて前記ストレージをプログラムするように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項10のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記併用療法の検出療法は、前記検出された電気パルスの立ち上がり又は立ち下がりのうちの少なくとも一方を検出するように構成され、前記コントローラは、該検出されたパルスの該立ち上がり又は立ち下がりを用いて該併用療法が適用中であることを示すように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラは、前記検出されたパルスに対するオン/オフ比を前記療法パルスに対するオン/オフ比と比較するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記併用療法検出回路は、前記少なくとも1つの電気パルスの波形を抽出するように構成され、
前記コントローラは、前記検出されたパルスの前記波形を前記療法パルスの波形と比較するように構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 併用療法のデータベースを更に含み、
前記データベースは、少なくとも2つの潜在的併用療法に関する療法パルスの特徴を含み、
前記コントローラは、前記データベース内の前記療法パルスの特徴を用いて前記併用療法が適用中であることを示すように構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記コントローラは、学習モードを開始して、前記IMDが検出された電気信号のパルスを特徴付けることを可能にし、該検出された電気信号の該パルスの該特徴付けを該IMDに格納し、かつ該学習モードにおいて特徴付けられた前記療法パルスの前記特徴のうちの少なくとも1つを用いて前記併用療法が適用中であることを示すように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
