Description
流体力学的直径:ここで開示されるナノ粒子は、WO2008/122131内に概説されるX線ディスク遠心分離によって測定される流体力学的粒径が500nm未満、好ましくは200nm未満、例えば20〜50nmであることを特徴とする。先行技術において開示されるCu含有材料(例えばKling参照)は、典型的には緑色がかった色のものである。ここに記載されるナノ粒子含有ポリマーは、そのような不利な特性を示さないことが判明した。
a) 金属の銀粒子:1つの実施態様において、ここで開示されるナノ粒子は、ナノ微粒子の中に、金属または部分的にイオン化された形態で銅と銀との両方を非永続性の支持体上に含有する(「Ag/Cuドープされたナノ粒子」)。金属のナノ粒子数に対して少なくとも95%(「95%(n/n)」)が、電子顕微鏡によって測定して10nm未満、より好ましくは5nm未満の直径を有する金属の銀ナノ粒子として存在する。より特定には、その大きさは走査型透過電子顕微鏡または高分解能透過型電子顕微鏡のいずれかによって、例えばCM30 (Philips、LaB6カソード、300 kVで稼働、点分解能>2Å)において測定される。電子顕微鏡の分解能の限界のために、<1nmの金属の銅粒子は、本発明の文脈において粒子とみなされず、むしろ原子クラスタまたは分子とすら称される。従って、<1nmの金属の銀粒子は、金属の銀粒子の大きさの分布に基づく数には含まれない。銀が上述の通り、トロイの木馬方式に従って作用することも考えられる。さらに、銀および銅が相乗的に互いに補完することも判明した。従って、本発明は、銀および銅が相乗的に有効な量で存在する、ここで開示されるナノ粒子にも関する。典型的には、Ag/Cuの比は10/1〜1/10の範囲、例えば1/1である。
TCP ドーパントのないTCPナノ粒子
2Cu−TCP 2%のCuを含有する、本発明によるナノ粒子。
種々のCu−TCPフィルムのUV−Visスペクトルを記録した。2Cu−TCPおよび2Ag−TCPフィルムは、350nmより上の波長で>50%の高い透過を示した。一般に、透過は、銀および銅の含有率の増加に対して減少する。次第に、茶色または緑/青の着色が、光学的に、眼によって且つUV−Vis測定によっても観察される。透過性は一般に梱包材料またはコーティングについての市場を決定するような要素であるので、本発明のフィルムはかかる用途に適しているとみなされる。
第一の抗菌試験において、純粋な粒子(TCPおよび2Cu−TCP)の活性をASTM E2149−01によって、大腸菌C43との接触時間24時間(作用するバクテリアの濃度 1×105CFU/ml)を使用して調査した(表1)。粉末5mgを、作用するバクテリアの緩衝液8ml中に浸漬させた。銅を含有するサンプルの2Cu−TCPは、材料への曝露のほんの24時間後に、強い、ほぼ1logの低下を示した。純粋なTCPは、大腸菌の成長にほんのわずかな影響しか及ぼさず、参照品と比較して半分のCFU/mlを産出した。
粉末について同一の試験を、20%(w/w)の粉末を含有する一組のフィルムを用い、24時間の接触時間を適用して行った(表2)。6cm2の面積のフィルム(20%(w/w)の粉末の装填について≒15mgの粉末に相応)を8mlの作用するバクテリアの溶液8ml中に浸漬させた(1×106 CFU/ml)。2Cu−TCP粉末含有フィルムは、1−logの低下を示し、それはフィルム材料について並はずれて高い。
一般に発生する種々の微生物についての材料の効率をさらにASTM E2180−01に準拠して24時間、調査した。5Ag−TCPを含有するフィルムは、緑膿菌(P.aeruginosa)およびカンジダアルビカンス(C.albicans)に、それぞれ、並はずれた6〜7logの低下および4−logの低下を伴う強い影響を示した。両方の微生物はTCPフィルムとの接触において影響されなかった(緑膿菌については4%の増加、およびカンジダアルビカンスについては18%の低下)。ここでもまた、活性剤、致命的な薬剤としての銀の役割が確認される。これまでのところ、高い(3〜7−logの低下)抗菌活性は、5Ag−TCPを含有するフィルムについて、特にグラム陰性菌(大腸菌、緑膿菌)に対して、および酵母様菌類(カンジダアルビカンス)に対して観察された。より強固な防衛機構を有する微生物、例えばグラム陽性の黄色ブドウ球菌およびA.ニゲル(A.niger)の胞子形は遙かに少なくしか影響されなかった。
Claims (19)
- i) リン酸カルシウム、硫酸カルシウム、炭酸カルシウムおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、非永続性の無機支持材料、
ii) 酸化状態±0、+1および/または+2の銅、および
iii) 随意にさらなる無機化合物
を含有するナノ粒子であって、前記ナノ粒子の少なくとも95%(w/w)が流体力学的直径<500nmを有し、且つ、前記ナノ粒子の含水率が<5%(w/w)未満である前記ナノ粒子。 - 銅の含有率が0.5〜10%である、請求項1に記載のナノ粒子。
- 成分i)がリン酸三カルシウムである、請求項1または2に記載のナノ粒子。
- 成分i)が、アモルファスのリン酸三カルシウムである、請求項1に記載のナノ粒子。
- 成分iii)が、酸化状態±0の銀である、請求項1に記載のナノ粒子。
- ポリマーと、請求項1に記載のナノ粒子とを含有する複合材料であって、前記ナノ粒子が前記ポリマー中に分散されている、および/または前記ポリマー上に被覆されている、前記複合材料。
- 前記ポリマーが、シリコーン、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、シクロオレフィンコポリマー、ポリスチレン、ポリカーボネート、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリ(塩化ビニル)、ポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)、ポリアミド、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリ(酢酸ビニル)、ポリエステル、ポリウレタン、スチレンブロックコポリマー、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリアクリレート、ポリラクチド酸、アクリル−ブタジエン−スチレンコポリマー、天然および合成ゴム、アクリロニトリルゴム、およびそれらの組み合わせ(ブレンド)またはコポリマーからなる群から選択される、請求項6に記載の複合材料。
- 前記ポリマーが生分解性である、請求項6に記載の複合材料。
- 分散液と、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載のナノ粒子とを含有する液体配合物。
- 分散液が、25℃で100ポアズ未満の粘度を有する、請求項9に記載の液体配合物。
- 分散液が、ポリウレタンベースの分散物およびポリアクリレートベースの分散物からなる群から選択される、請求項9に記載の液体配合物。
- 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載のナノ粒子、または請求項6から8までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材料、または請求項9から11までのいずれか1項に記載の液体配合物を含有する物品。
- 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載のナノ粒子、または請求項6から8までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材料、または請求項9から11までのいずれか1項に記載の液体配合物を含有する、箔、コーティング、繊維、織物材料または不織材料。
- 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載のナノ粒子の製造方法であって、
a. 下記を含む可燃性溶液を調製する段階
i. 可溶性のカチオン前駆体
ii. 可溶性の銅前駆体
iii. 可溶性のアニオン前駆体
iv. 随意の溶剤
b. 前記の溶液をフレーム溶射熱分解工程に供する段階
を含む方法。 - 請求項6から8までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材料の製造方法において、
a. 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に定義されたナノ粒子を希釈剤中で懸濁させる段階、
b. そのように得られた懸濁液を、随意に希釈剤中で溶解または懸濁されたポリマー前駆体と混ぜ合わせる段階、
c. 重合を実施する段階、および
d. 随意に希釈剤を除去する段階
を含む、または
a. 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に定義されたナノ粒子を希釈剤中で懸濁させる段階、
b. そのように得られた懸濁液を、希釈剤中で溶解されたポリマーと混ぜ合わせる段階、および
c. 随意に希釈剤/溶剤を除去する段階
を含む、または
a. 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に定義されたナノ粒子を希釈剤中で懸濁させる段階、
b. そのように得られた懸濁液を、ポリマーと混ぜ合わせる段階、および
