Description
Claims (6)
- 入力光信号を伝えるための入力光導波路であって、コア領域およびクラッド領域を備える入力光導波路と、
前記入力光導波路から前記入力光信号を受信するスラブ導波路と、
前記スラブ導波路から突出する複数の出力導波路であって、前記入力光信号が分割されていく複数の出力導波路と、
前記入力光導波路のいずれかの側に沿って又は両側に沿って延在するクラッドモード吸収領域であって、前記入力導波路と前記クラッドモード吸収領域との間の距離は、前記入力光導波路が前記スラブ導波路に近づくにつれて増大し、漏斗型平面光波回路光学スプリッタの基板上で前記入力光導波路から分離されているクラッドモード吸収領域と
を備えることを特徴とする漏斗型平面光波回路光学スプリッタ。 - 前記クラッドモード吸収領域は、前記スラブ導波路の少なくとも一部に沿って延在することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の漏斗型平面光波回路光学スプリッタ。
- 前記入力光導波路、前記スラブ導波路、および前記複数の出力導波路は、石英またはポリマーから形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の漏斗型平面光波回路光学スプリッタ。
- 前記漏斗型平面光波回路光学スプリッタの前記基板は、シリコン又はガラスから形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の漏斗型平面光波回路光学スプリッタ。
- 前記クラッドモード吸収領域は、石英またはポリマーから形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の漏斗型平面光波回路光学スプリッタ。
- 前記スラブ導波路を前記複数の出力導波路に接続する領域は、セグメント化テーパ構造であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の漏斗型平面光波回路光学スプリッタ。
