Description

Claims (16)
- 展開可能な医療装置用の細長シャフトであって、
第1のポリマー材料の内側層と、
第2のポリマー材料の外側層と、
前記内側層と前記外側層との間に形成された編組アセンブリであって、前記編組アセンブリが、編組部材間に間隙を提供するように編み合わされた複数の編組部材を含み、前記複数の編組部材の各々が、
第1のコーティングと第2のコーティングとを有する導電素子であって、前記第1のコーティングが、前記導電素子を絶縁する軟質非導電性ポリマーを含み、前記第2のコーティングが、前記外側層に接合する熱可塑性接着剤を含む、導電素子
を含む、編組アセンブリと、
を含むシャフト。 - 前記第1のコーティングがポリウレタン材料を含む、請求項1に記載のシャフト。
- 前記第1のコーティングが、ショアA−50以上ショアA−70以下の範囲のデュロメータ値を有する材料を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のシャフト。
- 前記第2のコーティングがポリアミド材料を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のシャフト。
- 前記第2のコーティングが、ショアD−40以上ショアD−50以下の範囲のデュロメータ値を有する材料を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のシャフト。
- 前記導電素子が銅合金又はめっき銅を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のシャフト。
- 前記導電素子が、鋼、ステンレス鋼、ベリリウム、ニッケル、コバルト、亜鉛、アルミニウム、タンタル、白金、イリジウム、金、及び銀のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項6に記載のシャフト。
- 前記導電素子が0.5%以上5%以下のベリリウムを含む、請求項6に記載のシャフト。
- 前記導電素子がフラットワイヤである、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のシャフト。
- 前記フラットワイヤが曲面状の縁端を含む、請求項9に記載のシャフト。
- 前記シャフトの遠位端に沿って配置された少なくとも1つのエネルギー送達素子をさらに含む、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のシャフト。
- 前記少なくとも1つのエネルギー送達素子が、高周波電極、超音波振動子、及びマイクロ波素子のうちの1つである、請求項11に記載のシャフト。
- 前記複数の編組部材のうちの第1の編組部材が、前記少なくとも1つのエネルギー送達素子のうちの第1のエネルギー送達素子に電気的に結合され、前記複数の編組部材のうちの第2の編組部材が、前記少なくとも1つのエネルギー送達素子のうちの第2のエネルギー送達素子に電気的に結合される、請求項11又は12に記載のシャフト。
- 2個以上16個以下のエネルギー送達素子を含む、請求項11〜13のいずれかに記載のシャフト。
- 前記第1のコーティングが、その可撓性について、50回より多い関節動作に耐えるように選択される、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載のカテーテルシャフト。
- 前記第1のコーティングが、その可撓性について、150回より多い関節動作に耐えるように選択される、請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載のシャフト。
