Description

The present invention relates to a vehicle interior side wall structure of an automobile.

As an occupant protection measure at the time of a side collision of an automobile, the applicant of the present invention, as previously shown in Patent Document 1, has a rectangular cylindrical synthetic resin buffer body with one side opened on the back side of the door trim of the side door. Proposed mounting structure.

The shock absorber disclosed in Patent Document 1 is fixed to the door trim with its opening portion facing the back surface of the door trim. This shock absorber is provided with a plurality of abutting pieces extending radially outward at the peripheral edge of the above-described open portion, and the abutting pieces come into contact with the back surface of the door trim, and when the shock absorber is crushed and deformed, the door trim The crushing load can be dispersed in the surface direction.

In addition, a protruding edge is formed at the front end portion of the abutting piece toward the back side of the door trim, and the protruding edge abuts on the back surface of the door trim. ) And other unpleasant low-pitched sounds are prevented.

The door trim has a complicated curved surface shape for reasons of modeling. Therefore, the shock absorber attached to the back surface of the door trim is formed with a curved edge that matches the curved shape of the mounting-corresponding portion on the back surface of the door trim. It is made to extend along the curved line so as to be aligned with the curved surface of the back surface of the door trim.

However, it is difficult to align the curved surface of the back surface of the door trim and the curve of the opening side edge of the shock absorber, and the contact between the protruding edge of the above-mentioned abutting piece and the back surface of the door trim is not performed as designed and is low. Sound absorption prevention effect may be impaired.

Also, the front and rear of the shock absorbers on the left and right doors are different from each other on the left and right sides. Therefore, if the abutting piece is extended along the curve of the opening side edge of the shock absorber, Cannot be shared, and the left and right parts are disadvantageous in terms of cost.

Therefore, the present invention provides a vehicle interior side wall structure in which the protruding edge of the abutting piece extending to the open side edge of the shock absorber can be securely abutted against the rear surface side of the trim material. It is.

In the vehicle interior side wall structure according to the present invention, the rear surface of the trim member that covers the side surface of the side wall panel of the vehicle interior receives a collision load at the time of a side collision of the vehicle and undergoes a crushing deformation to cause collision energy. A cushioning body made of a synthetic resin with one side open, which is capable of absorbing water, and is fixed to the trim material with the open portion facing the back surface of the trim material , and the end wall on the other side of the cushioning body is fixed It is arranged in parallel with the side wall panel . The shock absorber extends radially outward in parallel with the end wall at the periphery of the open portion and contacts the back surface of the trim material. When the shock absorber is crushed, the shock absorber is crushed in the surface direction of the trim material. A plurality of abutting pieces that can disperse the load are provided, and a protruding edge that protrudes toward the back surface of the trim material is formed at the tip of the abutting piece. On the back surface of the trim material, a protruding portion is formed in a portion corresponding to the bumping piece of the shock absorber, and a pseudo flat surface is formed on the rear surface of the trim material at the end edge, and the protruding edge of the bumping piece is formed. It is formed a rib protrusion abutting. The main feature is that the rib protrusion is set to an edge height that can ensure the parallelism of the end wall of the buffer body with respect to the side wall panel according to the back surface shape of the trim material .

According to the present invention, since the flat surface portion is formed on the back surface of the trim material by the rib protrusion, the side wall is formed by attaching the buffer body by bringing the projecting edge of the bumper abutting piece into contact therewith. It is possible to ensure the parallelism of the end wall of the buffer body with respect to the panel .

That is, the abutting piece can be formed in a flat plate shape corresponding to a pseudo flat surface portion constituted by rib protrusions. As a result, the protruding edge of the tip of the abutting piece can be brought into orderly contact with the rib protrusion, and a low sound absorption preventing effect can be obtained, and the parallelism of the end wall of the buffer body with respect to the side wall panel is ensured. It is possible to thoroughly take measures against side collisions.

In addition, when the surface shape of the rear surface of the trim material is a curved surface like a door trim, the edge on the opening side of the shock absorber is formed in a curve that substantially matches the curved surface shape of the rear surface of the trim material. Since the contact piece can be formed in a flat plate shape without being constrained by the curved surface shape on the back surface of the trim material, the moldability of the shock absorber can be improved.

Furthermore, since a plurality of abutting pieces can each be formed into a flat plate shape, these abutting pieces and corresponding rib protrusions are formed symmetrically in the vehicle longitudinal direction, so that they can be shared as left and right parts of the vehicle. It becomes possible to do.

The side view which shows the door trim in the example which applied this invention to the door side of the motor vehicle. The perspective view which shows the shock absorber mounting state of the back surface of the door trim shown in FIG. The perspective view which shows the state which removed the buffer body of the door trim back surface shown in FIG. The perspective view which reversely shows the buffer body shown in FIG. 図3のA−A線における断面説明図。Cross-sectional explanatory drawing in the AA of FIG. Cross-sectional explanatory drawing in the BB line of FIG.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings by taking a side door of an automobile as an example.

The door inner panel 1 (see FIGS. 5 and 6) of the side door constitutes a part of the side wall panel of the vehicle compartment, and a door trim 2 as a trim material is mounted on the side surface of the vehicle compartment side as shown in FIG. ing.

The door trim 2 is injection-molded with an appropriate synthetic resin material, and a skin that serves as a cushion and a cover is bonded to the side surface on the side of the passenger compartment, and the door armrest 3 is provided in the middle in the vertical direction. The door pocket 4 is formed on the lower side while being bulged and formed toward the side.

In addition, a shock absorber 10 made of an elastomer resin or the like having a high impact absorption performance is disposed on a required portion of the door trim 2, for example, on the back of the impact area corresponding to the waist of the seated occupant.

The shock absorber 10 is formed in a rectangular tube shape with one side open as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4 and applies a collision load in the vehicle width direction between the door inner panel 1 and the door trim 2 at the time of a side collision of the vehicle. When it receives it, it crushes and deforms to absorb the collision energy.

In the example shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the buffer body 10 is formed in a regular rectangular tube shape and has a tapered shape with a small diameter on the end wall 12 side.

The shock absorber 10 is disposed in a space between the door inner panel 1 and the door trim 2 with its peripheral side wall 11 facing sideways, and absorbs collision energy by being crushed and deformed in the axial direction with respect to the above-described collision load. To do. This collision energy absorption characteristic is uniquely determined by the deformation stroke in the axial direction of the shock absorber 10 and the deformation reaction force.

In this embodiment, the cut portion 13 is formed at a corner portion where the radial ridge line a in which the peripheral side wall 11 and the end wall 12 of the shock absorber 10 are continuously provided and the axial ridge line b of the peripheral side wall 11 are gathered. It is.

Thereby, at the time of the crushing deformation of the buffer body 10, the sudden rise of the initial reaction force is suppressed, and the crushing deformation of the buffer body 10 is accompanied by a crack in the axial ridge line b of the peripheral side wall 11 starting from the cut portion 13. Thus, a good collision energy absorption action can be obtained from the early stage to the late stage of the collision.

The shock absorber 10 is fixed to the door trim 2 with the one side open portion facing the back surface of the door trim 2 and the periphery of the open portion in contact with or close to the back surface of the door trim 2.

In the present embodiment, as a fixing means for the buffer body 10, a bracket piece 14 formed so as to protrude in parallel with the end wall 12 on the peripheral edge of the peripheral side wall 11, for example, each edge of the front, rear wall, and lower wall, corresponds to this. Thus, an engaging mechanism comprising a clip stand 15 protruding from the back surface of the door trim 2 is employed (see FIGS. 2 and 3).

The bracket piece 14 includes an insertion hole 14 a into the clip stand 15.

The clip stand 15 includes a step 15a that restricts the insertion of the bracket piece 14 at an intermediate portion of the standing height, and a spring clip 15b on the opposite side.

Thereby, the insertion hole 14a of the bracket piece 14 is inserted into the clip stand 15,
When the insertion is restricted by the step portion 15a, the spring clip 15b that has passed through the insertion hole 14a is elastically engaged with the edge of the insertion hole 14a to perform organic coupling.

The rear surface of the door trim 2 has a complicatedly curved or inclined surface shape for the reason of forming the door armrest 3 and the door pocket 4 described above.

On the other hand, it is desirable that the buffer body 10 be arranged so that the end wall 12 thereof is substantially parallel to the door inner panel 1.

Therefore, the step 15a of the clip stand 15 is adjusted and set to a height position corresponding to the surface shape of the back surface of the door trim 2 on which the clip stand 15 is projected. That is, a measure is taken to ensure the parallelism of each bracket piece 14, that is, the parallelism of the end wall 12 with respect to the door inner panel 1.

In addition, a plurality of abutting pieces 16 extending toward the radially outer side of the opening portion are provided in parallel with the end wall 12 on the peripheral edge portion of the opening portion of the buffer body 10.

The abutting piece 16 is in contact with the back surface of the door trim 2 so that the crushing load can be distributed in the surface direction of the door trim 2 when the shock absorber 10 is crushed and deformed. A protruding edge 16a is formed.

In the present embodiment, the above-described abutting piece 16 includes an edge central portion 16A on the upper edge of the opening of the shock absorber 10, the front edge of the lower edge, the rear portions 16B and 16C, the front edge and the rear edge. A total of five lower and upper portions 16D and 16E are provided symmetrically in the front and rear directions.

On the other hand, the portions corresponding to the respective butting piece 16A~16E the back surface of the door trim 2, protruding edge 16a of abutting pieces 16A~16E is contact with the resilient bonding of the spring clip 15b of the engaging wear mechanism Te protrudes molded rib projecting 17A~17E to receive this, mutually so as to prevent the occurrence of low sound absorption, such as sliding noises due to vehicle vibration by contact.

The rib protrusions 17A to 17E are set to edge heights corresponding to the surface shape of the rear surface of the door trim 2 on which the rib protrusions 17A to 17E are projected in the same manner as the step portion 15a of the clip stand 15 according to the above-described purpose. A flat surface portion F · S is formed on the back surface of the door trim 2 so as to ensure the parallelism of the end wall 12 of the shock absorber 10 with respect to the door inner panel 1 .

Moreover, these rib protrusions 17A-17E are formed in the shape which has a pair of parallel part which cross | intersects with the protrusion edge 16a of the contact pieces 16A-16E in multiple places.

For example, the rib protrusion 17A corresponding to the abutting piece 16A is formed in a U shape in which a laterally protruding edge 16a intersects both the front and rear sides. The rib protrusions 17B and 17C corresponding to the abutting pieces 16B and 16C are formed in a vertically long oval shape in which the laterally projecting edges 16a intersect on both the front and rear sides. The rib protrusions 17D and 17E corresponding to the abutting pieces 16D and 16E are each formed in a horizontally long oval shape in which the vertically protruding edges 16a intersect on both the upper and lower sides (see FIGS. 3 and 4).

Further, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 3, 5, and 6, the portion where the rib protrusions 17 </ b> D and 17 </ b> E of the door trim 2 protrude has a surface shape inclined in the front-rear direction, and the rib protrusion 17 </ b> A The portions where 17B and 17C are protruded have a surface shape having a height difference and an inclination that are undulated in the vertical direction.

Therefore, the rib protrusions 17D and 17E change the protruding height in the front-rear direction so that a similar flat portion F · S can be obtained at the rib edge according to the inclination of the door trim 2 as shown in FIG. Let it form.

Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the rib protrusions 17A, 17B, and 17C are arranged in the vertical direction so as to obtain a flat plane portion F · S at the rib edge according to the difference in the undulation height and the inclination of the door trim 2. It is formed by changing the protruding height.

According to the compartment side wall structure of the present embodiment having the above-described configuration, the plurality of rib protrusions 17A to 17E artificially form the flat surface portion F · S on the back surface of the door trim 2, so that the shock absorber 10 is provided here. The parallelism of the end wall 12 of the shock absorber 10 with respect to the door inner panel 1 can be ensured by attaching the shock absorber 10 by bringing the protruding edges 16a of the contact pieces 16A to 16E into contact with each other.

In other words, the abutting pieces 16A to 16E can be formed in a flat plate shape corresponding to each of the flat surface portions F and S formed by the rib protrusions 17A to 17E.

As a result, the protruding edges 16a of the respective tip portions of the abutting pieces 16A to 16E can be brought into orderly contact with the rib protrusions 17A to 17E, and a low sound absorption preventing effect can be obtained, and the end wall of the buffer body 10 can be obtained. The parallelism with respect to 12 door inner panels 1 can be ensured, and the interference performance at the time of a side collision can be exhibited favorably.

In addition, if the rear surface of the door trim 2 has a curved surface shape that is complicatedly curved for modeling reasons, the edge of the shock absorber 10 on the open portion side is formed in a curve that substantially matches the curved surface shape. Since the abutting pieces 16A to 16E can be formed in a flat plate shape without being constrained by the curved shape of the back surface of the door trim 2, the moldability of the shock absorber 10 can be improved.

Further, since the plurality of abutting pieces 16A to 16E can each be formed in a flat plate shape, the abutting pieces 16A to 16E and the rib protrusions 17A to 17E corresponding thereto are formed symmetrically in the vehicle longitudinal direction, whereby the vehicle The left and right parts can be shared, and the cost can be reduced.

Further, in the present embodiment, the rib protrusions 17A to 17E are formed in a shape having a pair of parallel portions that intersect at two points, such as an oval shape, with respect to the linear protruding edge 16a of the abutting pieces 16A to 16E. Therefore, the seating stability of the protruding edge 16a can be enhanced, and the low-noise prevention effect can be further enhanced.

In the above-described embodiment, the shock absorber 10 is disposed on the back of the impact area corresponding to the waist of the seated occupant in the door trim 2, but in addition to this, it corresponds to the waist and / or shoulder of the seated occupant in the rear side trim. By providing the shock absorber 10 on the rear surface of the impact area, the same effect as described above can be obtained.

Moreover, although the square cylinder shape was shown as the buffer body 10, it can also be formed in other polygonal cylinder shape.
