Description
Claims (24)
- 携帯型液体酸素(PLOX)ユニットであって、
内部を備える液体酸素(LOX)容器、
前記LOX容器の前記内部の外側に配置される第1端部、及び前記LOX容器の前記内部の中に配置される第2端部を備え、LOX供給から前記LOX容器の前記内部へLOXを給送するための流入ライン、
前記LOX容器の前記内部の外側に配置される第1端部、及び前記LOX容器の前記内部の中に配置される第2端部を備え、前記LOX容器の前記内部からLOXを給送するための流出ライン、
前記LOX容器の前記内部の外側に配置される第1端部、及び前記LOX容器の前記内部の中に配置される第2端部を備え、前記LOX容器の前記内部を雰囲気に連通するための排気ライン、
前記LOX容器の前記内部を雰囲気へと選択的に連通するために、前記排気ラインに有効に結合された排気バルブ、
排気ラインに結合され、前記LOX容器の前記内部の中の予め定められたレベルに達したLOXに応じて前記排気ラインを実質的に遮断する自動遮断アセンブリ、並びに
前記自動遮断アセンブリに結合され、前記排気ラインを非ブロック化するために前記自動遮断アセンブリの少なくとも一部を動かすことによって前記自動遮断アセンブリをリセットするリセット素子、
を有し、
前記自動遮断アセンブリが、可動のバルブ要素、及び第1端部と第2端部との間で前記排気ライン中に定められるバルブ台座を含み、前記バルブ要素及び前記バルブ台座は、前記バルブ要素が前記バルブ台座にはまり、前記LOX容器の前記内部の中の前記予め定められたレベルに達したLOXに応じて前記排気ラインを実質的に遮断するように構成及び配置され、
前記リセット素子が、前記自動遮断アセンブリの前記少なくとも一部として前記バルブ要素を動かすための、
(a) 前記バルブ台座と前記第1端部との間で前記排気ライン中に定められ、前記排気ラインの内部を前記LOX容器の前記内部に連通するように配置されるリセットオリフィス、
(b) 前記バルブ要素の表面の凹凸若しくはこぶによって前記バルブ要素と前記バルブ台座との間に設けられるリセット空間、
(c) 意図的なリークを持つ前記バルブ台座と前記バルブ要素との間のシール、又は
(d) (a)−(c)の任意の組み合わせであるユニット。 - 前記LOX容器を収容するシェル、並びに前記シェル及び前記LOX容器を収容するハウジングをさらに有し、真空スペースが前記シェルと前記LOX容器との間に設けられ、前記真空スペース中で真空が引かれる、請求項1に記載のユニット。
- 前記バルブ要素が実質的に球状であり、前記LOX容器の前記内部の中でLOXに浮かぶように構成及び配置される、請求項1に記載のユニット。
- 前記バルブ台座に対する前記バルブ要素の位置を制御するバルブ要素ホルダーをさらに有する、請求項1に記載のユニット。
- 前記流入ラインの少なくとも一部が前記流出ライン内に配置される、請求項1に記載のユニット。
- 前記流出ラインに有効に結合される酸素節約装置をさらに有する、請求項1に記載のユニット。
- 前記LOX容器が、上部、下部、及び、前記上部と前記下部との間に延在する側壁を含み、前記流入ライン、前記流出ライン及び前記排気ラインが、前記上部を通して前記LOX容器に入る、請求項1に記載のユニット。
- 前記流入ラインの第1端部に配置される充填コネクタをさらに有する、請求項1に記載のユニット。
- 前記充填コネクタが、前記充填コネクタをLOX供給の供給コネクタに取り付け、前記充填コネクタが前記供給コネクタにかみ合ったままにする充填コネクタ固定機構を含む、請求項8に記載のユニット。
- 前記排気バルブに結合される排気ハンドルをさらに有し、前記排気ハンドルは、前記排気ラインが前記LOX容器の前記内部を雰囲気に連通する開位置と、前記LOX容器の前記内部の雰囲気への連通を実質的に防止する閉位置との間で、手動で操作可能である、請求項1に記載のユニット。
- 前記排気バルブ、前記排気ハンドル又はその両方に結合された排気バルブ固定機構をさらに有し、前記排気バルブ固定機構は、前記開位置に動かされたことに応じて、前記排気ハンドルを前記開位置に維持する、請求項10に記載のユニット。
- 携帯型液体酸素(PLOX)ユニットであって、
液体酸素(LOX)を貯蔵する貯蔵手段、
LOX供給から前記貯蔵手段の内部へとLOXを給送するLOX受取手段、
前記貯蔵手段の前記内部からLOXを給送するLOX供給手段、
前記貯蔵手段の前記内部を雰囲気へと連通する排気手段、
前記LOX容器の前記内部の中の予め定められたレベルに達したLOXに応じて前記排気手段を実質的に遮断してLOXが前記貯蔵手段に入らないようにする遮断手段、及び
前記遮断手段を解放して前記排気手段を非ブロック化するリセット手段、
を有し、
前記遮断手段が可動のバルブ要素を有し、前記排気手段がバルブ台座を含み、前記貯蔵手段中の前記予め定められたレベルに達したLOXに応じて前記バルブ要素が前記バルブ台座にはまって、前記排気手段を実質的に遮断するように、前記バルブ要素及び前記バルブ台座が構成されて配置され、
前記リセット手段が、前記自動遮断アセンブリの前記少なくとも一部として前記バルブ要素を動かすための、
(a) 前記バルブ台座と前記第1端部との間で前記排気ライン中に定められ、前記排気ラインの内部を前記LOX容器の前記内部に連通するように配置されるリセットオリフィス、
(b) 前記バルブ要素の表面の凹凸若しくはこぶによって前記バルブ要素と前記バルブ台座との間に設けられるリセット空間、
(c) 意図的なリークを持つ前記バルブ台座と前記バルブ要素との間のシール、又は
(d) (a)−(c)の任意の組み合わせであるユニット。 - 前記貯蔵手段を収容するシェル、並びに前記シェル及び前記貯蔵手段を収容するハウジングをさらに有し、真空スペースが前記シェルと前記貯蔵手段との間に設けられる、請求項12に記載のユニット。
- 前記可動のバルブ要素が、前記LOX容器の前記内部の中でLOXに浮くように構成されて配置される、請求項12に記載のユニット。
- 前記バルブ台座に対する前記バルブ要素の位置を制御する保持手段をさらに有する、請求項12に記載のユニット。
- 前記LOX供給手段が酸素節約手段を含む請求項12に記載のユニット。
- 前記LOX受取手段が、当該ユニットをLOX供給に結合して当該ユニットを前記LOX供給に結合された関係に維持する手段を含む、請求項12に記載のユニット。
- 前記排気手段が、開位置において前記貯蔵手段の前記内部を雰囲気に連通し、閉位置において前記貯蔵手段の前記内部の雰囲気への連通を実質的に防止するための手動で操作する手段を含む、請求項12に記載のユニット。
- 前記手動で操作する手段を、ユーザからのインタラクション無しで前記開位置に維持する手段をさらに有する、請求項18に記載のユニット。
- 携帯型液体酸素(PLOX)ユニットを充填する方法であって、
PLOXユニット及び液体酸素(LOX)供給を用意し、
前記PLOXユニットの第1連結部材を前記LOX供給の第2連結部材に手動でかみ合わせることによって、前記PLOXユニットを前記LOX供給に結合し、
前記PLOXユニットのLOX容器の内部を雰囲気に連通するために排気ラインを手動で開くことによって、前記LOX供給から前記PLOXユニットへとLOXを移し、
予め定められたレベルに達した前記PLOXユニット中のLOXの量に応じて、前記排気ラインを可動のバルブ要素により遮断することによって、前記LOX供給から前記PLOXユニットへ移すステップを自動的に止め、
前記排気ラインを手動で閉じた後、前記バルブ要素の表面の凹凸又はこぶによる意図的なリークにより、前記バルブ要素の両側の圧力差を低下させることによって、前記バルブ要素による前記排気ラインの遮断をリセットする、方法。 - 前記結合ステップの結果、前記PLOXユニットは、当該PLOXユニットへの手動のインタラクション無しで前記LOX供給に結合されたままである、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記PLOXユニットの前記LOX供給への結合は、第2連結部材に対して第1連結部材を手動で回転させることを含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記排気ラインを手動で開くことが、前記PLOXユニット又は前記LOX供給への手動のインタラクション無しで前記排気ラインを開いた構成に維持することを含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記PLOXユニットへのLOXの移送が停止したことに応じて、第1連結部材を第2連結部材から取り外すことをさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
