Description

Claims (20)
- (1)基材と、(2)レーザ画像形成放射線に曝露されると700〜1000nmの波長領域の赤外線吸収の低減を呈する赤外線吸収化合物を含む赤外線吸収層と、(3)前記赤外線吸収層を覆うポリマー層とを備えるレーザ画像形成可能媒体であって、前記ポリマー層は有機ポリマーを含み、レーザ画像形成放射線に曝露されるとベシキュラー画像および赤外線画像の両方が前記媒体内に形成されるレーザ画像形成可能媒体。
- 前記赤外線吸収化合物は、アミニウムラジカルカチオン化合物を含む請求項1に記載の媒体。
- 前記アミニウムラジカルカチオン化合物は、テトラキス(フェニル)−1,4−ベンゼンジアミンラジカルカチオンの塩およびトリス(フェニル)−アミニウムラジカルカチオンの塩からなる群から選択される請求項2に記載の媒体。
- 前記赤外線吸収層の光学濃度は、700〜2000nmの波長領域で0.4未満である請求項1に記載の媒体。
- 前記赤外線吸収層の光学濃度は、450〜650nmの波長領域で0.1未満である請求項4に記載の媒体。
- 前記赤外線吸収層は、50重量%を超える前記赤外線吸収化合物を含む請求項1に記載の媒体。
- 前記レーザ画像形成放射線は、700〜1600nmの波長範囲の赤外放射線である請求項1に記載の媒体。
- 前記レーザ画像形成放射線は、可視放射線である請求項1に記載の媒体。
- 前記赤外線吸収層は、有機ポリマーを含む請求項1に記載の媒体。
- 前記有機ポリマーは、ニトロセルロースである請求項9に記載の媒体。
- 前記ポリマー層は、ニトロセルロースを含む請求項1に記載の媒体。
- 前記基材は、透明なプラスチック基材である請求項1に記載の媒体。
- 前記基材は、透明なプラスチック基材であり、前記媒体内に形成される前記ベシキュラー画像は、可視線スキャナを用いて読み取り可能である請求項1に記載の媒体。
- 前記ベシキュラー画像は、バーコード画像であり、前記可視線スキャナは、可視線バーコードスキャナである請求項13に記載の媒体。
- 前記基材は、透明なプラスチック基材であり、前記媒体内に形成される前記赤外線画像は、赤外線スキャナを用いて読み取り可能である請求項1に記載の媒体。
- 前記赤外線画像は、前記媒体が、赤外線反射基材と接触して定置され、前記媒体の前記赤外線反射基材と反対側から読み取られる際読み取り可能である請求項15に記載の媒体。
- 前記赤外線画像は、バーコード画像であり、前記赤外線スキャナは、赤外線バーコードスキャナである請求項16に記載の媒体。
- (1)透明な基材と、(2)レーザ画像形成放射線に曝露されると700〜1000nmの波長領域の赤外線吸収の低減を呈するアミニウムラジカルカチオン化合物を含む赤外線吸収層と、(3)前記赤外線吸収層を覆うポリマー層とを備えるレーザ画像形成可能媒体であって、前記ポリマー層はニトロセルロースを含み、レーザ画像形成放射線に曝露されると、前記媒体内にベシキュラー画像および赤外線画像の両方が形成されるレーザ画像形成可能媒体。
- 前記媒体内に形成される前記ベシキュラー画像は、可視線スキャナを用いて読み取り可能である請求項18に記載の媒体。
- 前記ベシキュラー画像は、バーコード画像であり、前記可視線スキャナは、可視線バーコードスキャナである請求項19に記載の媒体。
