Description
The present invention is not only for absorbent articles for excreta, particularly not only excrement mainly composed of water such as urine, but also excrement having relatively high viscosity such as excrement and mucus containing solids such as loose stool. Further, the present invention relates to an absorbent article that can exhibit excellent absorbency.
For example, patients with gastrointestinal diseases tend to frequently excrete in small amounts after surgery, but the stool in this case is often soft stool (mud stool) and mucus is produced. There are many. As a measure for excrement disposal in this case, it is desirable to always use paper diapers and increase the number of diaper exchanges to keep the skin clean. It is preferable to absorb and hold the excrement and reduce the contact between the skin and the excrement as much as possible until the next diaper change. Absorbent articles used for such purposes are less noticeable to wear, and it is preferable that replacement and disposal are relatively easy. Conventionally, absorbent articles and sanitary napkins have been used for this purpose. It was often used. However, incontinence pads and sanitary napkins were not intended for the absorption of loose stool, etc., so the solid content of loose stool remained on the surface and touched the wearer's skin, causing discomfort due to excrement, rough skin, etc. There were many cases where this occurred.
As conventional proposals for dealing with such problems, “Paper Diapers” described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-65861 (Patent Document 1), Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-269362 (Patent Document 2), and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-269362 are disclosed. There is a “disposable wearing article” described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-276125 (Patent Document 3). However, all of the articles proposed by these patent documents have a structure in which a large space for receiving soft stool is provided between the upper sheet and the internal absorbent body, which is bulky as a whole and wearable. bad.
For example, Japanese Patent No. 4346596 (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2007-97643, Patent Document 4) uses a perforated sheet provided with a large number of holes as a surface sheet in contact with the wearer's skin. An absorbent article having a configuration in which a permeable sheet that transmits excretory fluid is disposed below the top sheet and an absorbent element including a cotton-like pulp layer is disposed below the permeable sheet is disclosed. In the absorbent article disclosed in
On the other hand, for example, Japanese Patent No. 3681320 (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-276121, Patent Document 5) includes a permeable top sheet, an impermeable back sheet, and an absorbent core interposed between these two sheets. In the body fluid absorbent wearing article, an absorbent article having a configuration in which a mat-like panel is attached to the outer surface of the surface sheet in the rear area and the intermediate area is disclosed. The mat-like panel is formed of a fiber web having compression / restoration elasticity, and the fiber web includes a plurality of openings penetrating in the thickness direction and a mesh-like barrier portion surrounding each of the openings. And have. A barrier part is comprised from the low density fiber layer located in the surface sheet side, and the high density fiber layer located on this low density fiber layer. In this structure, the depth of the opening, that is, the thickness of the layer is about 2 to 30 mm, and the size of the opening is defined as the opening area, and the opening area is set to about 10 to 1600 mm 2. Has been. In this configuration, loose stool or the like stays on the top surface of the absorbent article, that is, the top surface of the high-density fiber layer, does not immediately penetrate into the high-density fiber layer, and the wearer's skin and top surface rub against each other. The inside of the hole, that is, the lower density fiber layer side is explained. Of the loose stool that flows into the low density fiber layer and reaches the top sheet 11, moisture is permeated through the top sheet and absorbed by the liquid-absorbent core disposed below the top sheet. The portion will permeate into the low density fiber layer together with part of the moisture. In the body fluid-absorbing wearing article described in Patent Document 5, the mesh-shaped barrier portion is composed of an upper layer high-density fiber layer and a lower layer low-density fiber layer, so that intended absorption characteristics can be achieved. However, it is necessary to accurately control the density of the high-density fiber layer and the low-density fiber layer, and it is not easy to manufacture with low price and stable quality. In addition, it has been described that the solid content of loose stool penetrates into the low density fiber layer together with a part of moisture, but the solid content of loose stool is not sufficiently absorbed by the low density fiber layer and remains on the surface of the mat-like panel. May come into contact with the person's skin.
In the absorbent article described in
The present invention has been made in order to solve such problems in the prior art, and has sufficient holding ability even for excrement containing solid matter such as loose stool and excrement having high viscosity such as mucus. An object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article that has absorption power and permeability, is easy to manufacture, and is inexpensive.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention has an absorptivity including a top sheet that comes into contact with the skin of the wearer, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorber disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet. The top sheet has a thickness of 2 to 6 mm, and a plurality of holes having a diameter of 5 to 10 mm penetrating in the thickness direction of the top sheet are distributed in the plane of the top sheet. Characterized by an absorbent article that is disposed. The numerous holes formed in the topsheet, due to its diameter and depth throughout the thickness of the topsheet, provide sufficient volume to hold loose stool solids. Between the top sheet and the absorbent body, a second sheet in which small holes having a diameter of 1 to 4 mm are distributed in the plane can be disposed. This second sheet acts to quickly guide moisture contained in the soft stool that has passed through the holes in the top sheet to the lower-layer absorber.
In the absorbent article according to the present invention, the top sheet is preferably formed of a material having water repellency. The top sheet can be preferably formed of a thermal bond nonwoven fabric, a laminate of a thermal bond nonwoven fabric and a spun bond nonwoven fabric, polyethylene foam, or urethane foam.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the hole formed in the top sheet is narrowed in the thickness direction from the front side surface of the top sheet to the periphery of the inlet adjacent to the front side surface of the top sheet. For example, an inclined surface such as a conical inclined surface is preferably provided. Further, the hole in the top sheet is formed on the absorber side surface of the top sheet, i.e., on the periphery of the outlet adjacent to the back surface, and expands the diameter of the hole toward the back surface of the top sheet. It is preferable that an inclined surface such as an inclined surface is provided. In this case, the maximum hole diameter is preferably 5 to 10 mm. The inclined surface formed around the entrance of the hole serves to rapidly introduce loose stool containing solid matter excreted into the hole, and the inclined surface formed around the exit of the hole is guided to the hole. It works to prevent the soft stool from flowing back toward the surface.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the holes in the top sheet are concentrated, that is, distributed in a pattern in a region extending from the excretion site, for example, the intermediate portion in the front-rear direction to the rear portion of the absorbent article. Typically, the absorbent article of the present invention has a length in use of 20 to 35 cm and a width of 7 to 15 cm. In a particular embodiment of the invention, the absorbent article is a soft stool absorbent pad.
According to the present invention having the above-described configuration, loose stool once absorbed is sufficiently retained even for loose stool containing solids and highly viscous mucous excrement. There is provided an absorbent article that is inexpensive and easy to manufacture.
Hereinafter, an absorbent article according to one preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Of the absorbent articles, the stool
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an appearance of a soft stool
The soft stool
The size of the stool
A
Next, the configuration of the stool
The uppermost
In order to satisfy these conditions, the
In addition to these conditions, the
The depth of the
孔3の直径(図4の矢印「エ」)は、5〜10mm(開口面積19.6〜78.5mm2)に設定する。
The diameter of the hole 3 (arrow “D” in FIG. 4) is set to 5 to 10 mm (opening area 19.6 to 78.5 mm 2 ). Comparison is made in this way so that not only urine and other excrement mainly containing water but also excretion containing solids such as soft stool and excrement with relatively high viscosity such as mucus can be smoothly permeated through the
Thus, the
For example, when the
As well shown in the enlarged view of FIG. 4, the function of the
For example, as shown in FIG. 4A, in the

In addition, according to the material of the
The

For the
The absorbent body 6 can be formed, for example, by mixing a hydrophilic fiber matrix of a fluff web, such as a wood pulp fluff, with particles of a known superabsorbent resin (SAP). Although not particularly shown, the surface of the absorbent body 6 may be embossed. These embosses control the diffusion of urine and the like, and easily deform the absorbent body 6 according to the user's body shape. As the fluff, synthetic fiber, polymer fiber, or the like may be used instead of the wood pulp fluff. Further, as the wood pulp fluff, it is preferable to use a treatment pulp that is low in bulk and can suppress the required power of the defibrating apparatus (power consumption of the defibrating machine when pulp is fluffed).
The

The
<実施例3>

<実施例4>
<Example 4>
The basic configuration of the fourth embodiment is the same as that of the third embodiment. Therefore, for the sake of convenience, description will be made using the reference numerals shown in FIG.
The substantial difference between Example 4 and Example 3 is 1) the thickness of the top sheet (2B), 2) the size of the rectangular region (f) in the longitudinal direction, and 3) the rectangular region (f), (g), This is in that an inclined surface is provided in the opening (3B), (3B ′), (4B), (4B ′) of (ki ′).
More specifically, an air-through nonwoven fabric having a thickness of 5 mm longer than that of Example 3 (but the same as Example 1) is used for the top sheet (2B) in Example 4. The dimension in the longitudinal direction of the rectangular area (a) is shorter than that of the third embodiment and is set to 150 mm. Further, the
<比較例>
<Comparative example>
A commercially available absorbent article was used as a comparative example. In particular, pay attention to the difference between the overall dimensions and the materials and configurations of the top sheet and the second sheet, compared to the actual product of the present application. The overall size of the comparative example is 56 cm long and 30 cm wide, and the top sheet is made of an air-through material having a substantially constant thickness and a thickness of less than 2 mm. The top sheet is provided with a number of openings of an ellipse having a hole diameter of 4 × 2 mm (an elliptical shape having a maximum diameter of 4 mm and a minimum diameter of 2 mm), and the second sheet has openings of the same size and shape. Many are provided.
The above three target products were evaluated by five monitors. There are three evaluation items: “wearing feeling”, “skin stains”, and “detachment / disposal (easy)”, and the evaluation results are ◎ (very good), ○ (good), △ (normal) , X (bad).
As a result, as shown in Tables 1 and 2 above, the products of the present invention obtained good results in almost all items. Except for the feeling of wearing in Examples 2 and 3, the product of the present invention exceeds the commercial product in all items. In addition, also from the evaluation result of the wearing feeling in Example 2, it is considered that the thickness of the top sheet, that is, the depth of the hole, is preferably about 2 to 6 mm. In addition, by comparing Example 1 and Example 2, it is considered that air-through is generally preferable to foam for a top sheet that directly touches the user's skin. Furthermore, from Example 3 and Example 4, it is also considered preferable to distribute the openings in a pattern in the region extending from the front-rear direction intermediate portion to the rear portion of the absorbent article. As apparent from the comparison between Example 3 and Example 4. It is also considered effective to provide an inclined surface of the opening.
