In particular, the intermediate sheet has a plurality of protrusions projecting from the back side toward the skin side and recesses formed between adjacent protrusions, and the recesses of the intermediate sheet penetrate the intermediate sheet in the thickness direction. The present invention relates to an absorbent article having through holes.
BACKGROUND ART Absorbent articles provided with an intermediate sheet between a top sheet provided on the skin side and an absorbent element provided on the back side are manufactured and sold. This intermediate sheet has the function of diffusing the excreted fluid in the planar direction. At the same time, it also has the function of preventing the excreted liquid absorbed by the absorbent element from returning to the top sheet under the influence of body pressure or the like.
Patent documents relating to the present invention include, for example, those described in
The absorbent product of
The absorbent article of
In the absorbent article of Patent Document 3, a transfer sheet is laid between the surface material and the absorbent body in order to allow urine and the like to quickly permeate the absorbent body, and folds are formed in the transfer sheet.
A conventional intermediate sheet uses a lofty nonwoven fabric to prevent reversion from the absorbent element to the topsheet. When a bulky nonwoven fabric is used, even if the excreted fluid moves from the absorbent element to the skin side, the possibility of retaining the excreted fluid inside the intermediate sheet increases, and as a result, the excreted fluid reaches the top sheet. It becomes difficult to go back.
However, when a bulky non-woven fabric is used for the intermediate sheet, there is a problem that the bulky intermediate sheet inhibits rapid movement of the excreted liquid to the absorbent element in the process of transferring excreted liquid from the surface sheet to the absorbent element during excretion. There is Furthermore, during excretion, the amount of excreted fluid retained inside the intermediate sheet increases in the process of moving the excreted fluid from the surface sheet to the absorbent element. There is also the problem that the excrement retained inside is more likely to return to the topsheet.
On the other hand, if a low-bulk non-woven fabric is used for the intermediate sheet, when the excreted liquid moves from the absorbent element to the skin side, it is less likely that the excreted liquid can be retained inside the intermediate sheet, and backflow occurs. There is the problem of ease. Further, if the volume of the intermediate sheet is low, the distance in the thickness direction between the topsheet and the absorbent element is short, which also causes the problem that reversion is likely to occur.
The absorbent product of
Although the absorbent article of Patent Document 3 relates to a pleated transfer sheet, it does not solve the problem of the present invention of rapidly transferring excretions such as urine to the absorbent element.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article that allows excretions such as urine to quickly reach an absorbent element during excretion and prevents the excreted liquid absorbed by the absorbent element from returning to the surface sheet. .
Various aspects of the tape-type disposable diaper that solves the above problems are as follows.
<First Aspect>
An absorbent article comprising a top sheet provided on the skin side, an absorbent element provided on the back side of the top sheet, and an intermediate sheet provided between the top sheet and the absorbent element,
The intermediate sheet has a plurality of convex portions protruding from the back side toward the skin side and concave portions formed between the adjacent convex portions,
An absorbent article, wherein a through hole (intermediate hole) penetrating through the intermediate sheet in the thickness direction is formed in the concave portion of the intermediate sheet.
(Effect)
By providing the intermediate sheet with protrusions and recesses, the distance in the thickness direction between the top sheet and the absorbent element is increased. As a result, it is possible to reduce the possibility that the excreted liquid retained by the absorbent element will return to the top sheet, compared to the case where the intermediate sheet has no protrusions or recesses.
Further, by forming a through-hole penetrating in the thickness direction in the concave portion of the intermediate sheet, it is possible to allow the excreted liquid to quickly reach the absorbent element during excretion. Excreted fluid that moves from the top sheet to the intermediate sheet collects in the recessed portions of the intermediate sheet, and since the recessed portions are formed with through-holes, the excreted liquid collected in the recessed portions quickly transfers to the absorbent element.
<Second Aspect>
The absorbent article according to the first aspect, wherein in the concave portion of the intermediate sheet, the peripheral portion of the through-hole has a higher fiber density than the non-peripheral portion.
(Effect)
When body pressure or the like is applied to the intermediate sheet (for example, when the crotch portion of the absorbent article is sandwiched between the wearer's legs), the high fiber density at the peripheral edge of the through-hole causes the peripheral edge to be compressed. Since the rigidity is increased, the shape of the convex portion is less likely to collapse. That is, if the peripheral edge of the through-hole is not hard, body pressure tends to deform the shape of the convex portion. The shape can be maintained. In order to harden the periphery of the through-hole, for example, if a bar-shaped steel material is inserted into the intermediate sheet, burrs are generated around the through-hole and the periphery becomes hard. In addition, the periphery of the through-hole may be hardened by, for example, inserting a rod-shaped steel material while heating it.
<Third Aspect>
The top sheet has a basis weight of 10 to 18 g/m 2 ,
The top sheet has a fineness of 1.8 to 3.0 dtex,
The top sheet has a thickness of 0.1 to 0.3 mm,
The absorbent article according to the first or second aspect.
(Effect)
Since there is a contact point in the portion of the top sheet that is in contact with the convex portion of the intermediate sheet, excreted liquid from the top sheet easily moves to the intermediate sheet. However, in the areas of the top sheet that are not in contact with the convex portions of the intermediate sheet, it is difficult for the excreted liquid to move to the intermediate sheet, and the excreted liquid stays in the top sheet (liquid retention), so the top sheet becomes wet ( not dry), which may cause discomfort to the wearer. Since excreted fluid tends to accumulate in the recessed portions of the intermediate sheet, the portion where the top sheet is particularly likely to become wet is the portion overlapping the recessed portions of the intermediate sheet in a plan view.
The basis weight of the top sheet is preferably 10-18 g/m 2 , more preferably 13-15 g/m 2 . In addition, the thickness of the top sheet is preferably 0.1 to 0.3 mm, more preferably 0.2 to 0.3 mm. In addition, the fineness of the fibers constituting the top sheet is preferably 1.8 to 3.0 dtex, more preferably 2.0 to 2.5 dtex.
When the basis weight of the top sheet is greater than 18 g/m 2 , the thickness of the top sheet is greater than 0.3 mm, and the fineness of the fibers constituting the top sheet is greater than 3.0 dtex, the top sheet retains excrement. There is a problem that the top sheet loses its smoothness. Therefore, by setting the basis weight of the top sheet to 18 g/m 2 or less, the thickness of the top sheet to 0.3 mm or less, and the fineness of the fibers constituting the top sheet to 3.0 dtex or less, the aforementioned problem, that is, the top It is possible to solve the problem that the sheet becomes wet (not dry) and the wearer feels uncomfortable.
On the other hand, if the basis weight of the top sheet is less than 10 g/m 2 or the thickness of the top sheet is less than 0.1 mm, the material strength of the top sheet is weakened, and the top sheet may be torn during use or uneven texture may occur. There is another problem that the excreted fluid tends to return to the skin surface side.
In addition, when the fineness of the fibers constituting the top sheet is smaller than 1.8 dtex, there is another problem that the excreted liquid is difficult to permeate from the top sheet to the back side.
Therefore, by setting the basis weight of the top sheet to 10 g/m 2 or more, the thickness of the top sheet to 0.1 mm or more, and the fineness of the fibers constituting the top sheet to 1.8 dtex or more, the above problems can be solved. You can also
<Fourth Aspect>
In the artificial urine dropping test, the top sheet has a first measurement result of 10 points or less, a second measurement result of 5 points or less, and a third measurement result of 5 points or less. The absorbent article according to any one of the first to third aspects.
(Effect)
In order to solve the problem described in the third aspect, when the wearer excretes on the topsheet, at least a part of the hydrophilic agent contained in the topsheet flows down to the absorbent element together with the excreted liquid. preferably. By adopting such a mode, the amount of the hydrophilic agent contained in the top sheet is reduced during the second and subsequent excretion (because the top sheet changes from hydrophilic to hydrophobic), The top sheet does not retain liquid easily, and the smooth feeling of the top sheet is easily secured.
When selecting a top sheet that satisfies these conditions, the following artificial urine drop test is performed. The first measurement result is 10 points or less, the second measurement result is 5 points or less, and the third measurement result is 5 points or less. It is preferable to use a top sheet that gives 5 points or less for the absorbent article. This is because, when the wearer excretes a number of times, the hydrophilic agent tends to run off from the top sheet, and the top sheet is less likely to retain liquid. The number and thickness of layers of the top sheet used in the drip test of artificial urine, the material of the fiber of the top sheet, the manufacturing method, etc. are all the same as the top sheet actually mounted on the absorbent article. do.
The drip test of artificial urine is performed according to the following procedures (1) to (4).
<Drip test of artificial urine>
(1) The top sheet is placed on 10 layers of filter paper, and a metal jig with 10 holes is placed on the top sheet.
(2) Using a micropipette, 1 mL of artificial urine was dropped into each of the 10 holes of the metal jig, and the top sheet absorbed the artificial urine within 2 seconds after dropping. A hole that has been absorbed is counted as 1 point and a hole that is not absorbed as 0 point, and the total score of the 10 holes is recorded as the result of the first measurement.
(3) After 3 minutes have passed since the artificial urine was dripped in (2), 1 mL of artificial urine was dripped into each of the 10 holes of the metal jig using a micropipette, and then dripped. After that, within 2 seconds, check whether the top sheet has absorbed the artificial urine, count the absorbed holes as 1 point and the unabsorbed holes as 0 points, and count the total of 10 holes. Record the score as the result of the second measurement.
(4) After 3 minutes have passed since the artificial urine was dripped in (3), 500 μL of artificial urine was dripped into each of the 10 holes of the metal jig using a glass pipette and dripped. After that, within 2 seconds, check whether the top sheet has absorbed the artificial urine, count the absorbed holes as 1 point and the unabsorbed holes as 0 points, and count the total of 10 holes. Record the score as the result of the third measurement.
The artificial urine used in the artificial urine drip test contains 2 wt% urea, 0.8 wt% sodium chloride, 0.03 wt% calcium chloride dihydrate, 0.08 wt% magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, ion 97.09 wt% of exchange water is mixed.
The metal jig used for the artificial urine drip test was a rectangle with a width of 210 mm, a length of 50 mm, and a thickness of 5 mm. are provided at regular intervals with a space between them, and the weight is 400 g.
<Fifth Aspect>
The top sheet has a through hole (top hole) that penetrates the top sheet in the thickness direction,
The absorbent article according to any one of the first to fourth aspects, wherein the position of the top sheet where the through hole (top hole) is formed and the position of the concave portion of the intermediate sheet overlap in plan view.
(Effect)
In order to solve the problem described in the third aspect, it is preferable to provide the top sheet with through-holes so that excreted fluid can easily permeate from the skin side to the back side of the top sheet. As a result, the top sheet becomes less likely to retain the excreted liquid, and the dry feeling of the top sheet can be ensured. In addition, since the top sheet is not in contact with the intermediate sheet at the portion overlapping the concave portion of the intermediate sheet in plan view, the top sheet tends to be particularly wet. Therefore, by arranging the positions of the through-holes of the top sheet and the positions of the recesses of the intermediate sheet to overlap each other in plan view, it is possible to effectively prevent the top sheet from becoming wet.
<Sixth Aspect>
The diameter of the through hole (top hole) formed in the top sheet is larger than the diameter of the through hole (intermediate hole) formed in the intermediate sheet,
In plan view, the through holes (top holes) formed in the top sheet and the through holes (intermediate holes) formed in the intermediate sheet at least partially overlap.

(Effect)
When the through-holes (top holes) formed in the top sheet and the through-holes (intermediate holes) formed in the intermediate sheet at least partly overlap in plan view, the excreted fluid quickly reaches the absorbent element. can be made However, in the actual manufacturing of absorbent articles, it is difficult to align the positions of the top hole and the intermediate hole so as to overlap each other in plan view. Therefore, it is preferable to make this alignment easier by making the diameter of the top hole larger than the diameter of the intermediate hole. It is also possible to consider a mode in which the diameter of the intermediate hole is made larger than the diameter of the top hole. However, since the intermediate sheet is provided with a convex portion, there is a restriction on increasing the diameter of the intermediate hole. Therefore, it is preferable to increase the diameter of the top hole.
The diameter of the top hole is preferably 2 to 4 times larger than the diameter of the intermediate hole, more preferably 2.5 to 3.5 times larger. If it is smaller than 2 times, the number of overlapped top holes and intermediate holes is reduced in plan view, and the area of the overlapped portion between the top holes and intermediate holes is reduced, so that excreted liquid reaches the absorbent element. It is difficult to obtain the effect of quickly reaching the target (as a matter of course, the greater the number of overlapping parts and the larger the area of the overlapping portion, the more likely the above-mentioned effect is obtained. The same applies hereinafter). If it is larger than 4 times, there is a problem that it becomes difficult to form and maintain the opening.
For example, if the diameter of the intermediate hole is 0.3-1 mm, the diameter of the top hole is preferably 0.6-4 mm.
When the shape of the top hole (and/or intermediate hole) is not circular in plan view, for example, when it is elliptical or polygonal such as square, the projected circle equivalent diameter (top hole (and/or intermediate hole) ) is the diameter of a circle equal to the projected area of ).
Moreover, the diameter of the top hole refers to the average value of the diameters of all the top holes provided within an arbitrary area (100 mm×100 mm square) of the top sheet. Similarly, the diameter of intermediate holes refers to the average value of the diameters of all intermediate holes provided within an arbitrary portion (100 mm×100 mm square) of the intermediate sheet. At this time, the position of the square on the top sheet and the position of the square on the intermediate sheet are made to completely overlap in plan view. In addition, it is preferable to select a portion that abuts on the wearer's excretory opening as the arbitrary portion of the top sheet or the intermediate sheet.
In order to allow the entire absorbent element to absorb excreted liquid, it is preferable that the positions of the top holes be uniform in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the top sheet. For the same reason, it is preferable that the intermediate holes are provided evenly in the vertical and horizontal directions of the intermediate sheet.

The materials and characteristic parts of each part will be described in order below.

(superabsorbent polymer particles)
Materials for the superabsorbent polymer particles may be used without any particular limitation, but those having a water absorption of 40 g/g or more are suitable. Superabsorbent polymer particles include starch-based, cellulose-based, and synthetic polymer-based particles. and acrylic acid (salt) polymers can be used. As for the shape of the superabsorbent polymer particles, the powder particles that are commonly used are suitable, but other shapes can also be used.
As the superabsorbent polymer particles, those having a water absorption rate of 70 seconds or less, particularly 40 seconds or less are preferably used. If the water absorption rate is too slow, the liquid supplied into the

The basis weight of the superabsorbent polymer particles can be appropriately determined according to the absorption amount required for the use of the

As shown in FIG. 3, the

The
The
As will be described later, the
The excreted liquid excreted on the
Moreover, in the
FIG. 9 is a sectional view showing the relationship between the
Another advantage of providing the
It is preferable to provide a plurality of
The
The nonwoven fabric of the
As described above, the nonwoven fabric forming the
Preferably, the hydrophilizing agent included in the
As a method for producing the
The
In addition, the hydrophilic agent used for the above applications can be used without any particular limitation, and typical examples thereof include various surfactants (anionic, cationic, amphoteric and nonionic). Specifically, for example, polyglycerin fatty acid ester, polyether-polyester block copolymer, polyether-modified silicone, fatty acid ester of ethylene oxide-added polyhydric alcohol, and the like can be used.

(1) A
(2) (First measurement)
Using a micropipette, 1 mL of artificial urine (to which the colorant described below is added) is dropped into each hole (ie, a total of 10 mL of artificial urine is dropped into 10 holes). After dripping the artificial urine, confirm whether the nonwoven fabric has absorbed the artificial urine within 2 seconds. When the artificial urine remains on the nonwoven fabric (usually when the artificial urine is spherically placed on the nonwoven fabric), it is recorded that the nonwoven fabric does not absorb the artificial urine. On the other hand, when no artificial urine remains on the nonwoven fabric, it is recorded that the nonwoven fabric has absorbed the artificial urine. Do this recording operation for each of the 10 holes. That is, the number of places out of 10 that passed through the nonwoven fabric within 2 seconds is recorded. An absorbed hole is counted as 1 point, and an unabsorbed hole is counted as 0 point, and the total score of 10 holes is recorded.
(3) (Second measurement)
After dropping the artificial urine (with the following colorant added) in (2), wait for 3 minutes to pass, and after 3 minutes, again using a micropipette, each hole Instill 1 mL of artificial urine. Then, the total score is recorded in the same manner as in (2) above.
(4) (Third measurement)
After dropping the artificial urine (with the following colorant added) in (3) above, wait for 3 minutes, and after 6 minutes, use a glass pipette to add 500 μL per hole. Dripping artificial urine. Then, the total score is recorded in the same manner as in (2) above.

By providing the
In addition, when excrement accumulates on the surface of the
The basis weight of the
When the basis weight of the
On the other hand, when the basis weight of the
Further, when the fineness of the fibers constituting the
Therefore, by setting the basis weight of the
In the above, preferable values are shown for each of the basis weight, fineness, and thickness of the material itself of the
(intermediate sheet)
An intermediate sheet (also called a “second sheet”) 40 having a faster liquid permeation rate than the
Examples of the
The
The basis weight of the
Although the fineness of the
If the fineness of the
As described above, when the body pressure of the wearer is applied to the absorbent article, the excreted liquid held by the
However, when focusing on the
Therefore, in the present invention, the
The shape of the
The diameter of the
The above points also apply to the through
The distance between the plurality of
7, when two or more
7, when two or more
7 and 9, when the
Also, the height h of the
As described above, by providing the
If the
From the viewpoint of increasing the permeability of the
The
The non-woven fabric of the
It is preferable that the
In order to make the fiber density of the
The cross-sectional shape of the
The pin insertion type
The locations where the
In addition, when the
However, in actual manufacturing of the absorbent article, it is difficult to align the positions of the
FIG. 14 is a plan view illustrating an aspect in which the diameter of the

Further, in FIG. 14, the distances between the center points of the top holes 78, 78 adjacent vertically and horizontally in the drawing are all the same length, but they may be arbitrarily different lengths. Similarly, in FIG. 14, the distances between the center points of the

(Wing part)
This tape-type disposable diaper has a crotch portion M extending from the midpoint of the ventral portion F in the front-rear direction LD to the midpoint of the back portion B in the front-rear direction LD, as shown in FIGS. In addition, the ventral portion F and the dorsal portion B have wing portions WP that extend outward from the crotch portion M in the width direction WD. The lower edges 70 of the wing portions of the abdominal portion F extend forward from the front ends of the side edges of the crotch portion M so as to be positioned obliquely outward, and the lower edges 75 of the wing portions of the dorsal portion B It extends from the rear end of the side edge of the crotch portion M so as to be positioned obliquely outward toward the rear. Although the side edge of the wing portion WP is linear in the illustrated example, the shape is not limited to this, and other known shapes can be adopted. The dimension of the crotch portion M in the front-rear direction LD can be determined as appropriate, but it can be about 1.2 to 1.4 times the minimum width M X of the crotch portion M. In the case of use for infants, the dimension M Y in the front-rear direction LD of the crotch portion M is about 10 to 30 cm.
