Claims (14)
- 加圧するように構成される格納容器と、
第1の電極と、
第2の電極と、
前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極と電気的に通信する電流源と、
前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極と流体連通する電解質と、
第1のガスであって、前記第1の電極で、電気分解の間に形成される、第1のガスと、
第2のガスであって、前記第2の電極で、電気分解の間に形成される、第2のガスと、
分離機であって、前記第1の電極を備える、分離機と、
第1のガス回収容器と、
第2のガス回収容器と、を備え、
前記分離機は、前記電解質の密度と前記電解質および前記第1のガスの合わせた密度との間の相違に起因して、前記電解質および前記第1のガスの流れを、前記ガスが、前記第2の電極に対して遠位であり、かつ前記第1のガス回収容器に向かう方向に流れるように方向付けるための第1の傾斜面を含み、
前記分離機は、前記電解質の密度と前記電解質および前記第2のガスの合わせた密度との間の相違に起因して、前記電解質および前記第2のガスの流れを、前記ガスが、前記第1の電極に対して遠位であり、かつ前記第2のガス回収容器に向かう方向に流れるように方向付けるための第2の傾斜面を含む、電解セル。 - 前記第1のガス回収容器は、前記第1のガスの上昇圧によって前記第1のガスを捕集するように構成され、前記第2のガス回収容器は、前記第2のガスの上昇圧によって前記第2のガスを捕集するように構成される、請求項1に記載の電解セル。
- 前記第1のガスは、水素を含む、請求項2に記載の電解セル。
- 第1のガスは水素を含み、前記第2のガスは酸素を含む、請求項2に記載の電解セル。
- フィルタをさらに含み、前記フィルタは、触媒材料を含む、請求項4に記載の電解セル。

前記分離機は、前記電解質の密度と前記電解質および前記第1のガスの合わせた密度との間の相違に起因して、前記電解質および前記第1のガスの流れを、前記ガスが、前記第2の電極に対して遠位であり、かつ前記第1のガス回収容器に向かう方向に流れるように方向付けるための傾斜面を含む、電解セル。 - 前記ガス回収容器は、前記第1のガスの上昇圧によって前記第1のガスを捕集するように構成される、請求項6に記載の電解セル。
- フィルタをさらに含み、前記フィルタは、触媒材料を含む、請求項7に記載の電解セル。
- 第1のガスは、水素を含む、請求項7に記載の電解セル。
- 電解セルの効率を向上させる方法であって、
電解セルを提供することと、
前記電解セルにおける電気分解であって、前記電気分解の間に、前記電解セルにおいて第1のガスおよび第2のガスが生成される、電気分解を行うことと、
電極を備える分離機を用いて前記第1のガスと前記第2のガスを分離することと、
前記電解セルとは異なり、かつ前記電解セルと流体連通する、第1のガス回収容器を提供することと、
前記第1のガスの膨張の前に、前記第1のガス回収容器内に前記第1のガスを捕集することと、
前記第1のガスを膨張させることと、
前記第1のガスの上昇圧から前記第1のガスを捕集することと、
前記電解セルとは異なり、かつ前記電解セルと流体連通する、第2のガス回収容器を提供することと、
前記第2のガスの膨張の前に、前記第2のガス回収容器内に前記第2のガスを捕集することと、
前記第2のガスを膨張させることと、
前記第2のガスの上昇圧から前記第2のガスを捕集することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記第1のガスは、水素を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のガスは水素を含み、前記第2のガスは酸素を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のガス回収容器内に前記第1のガスを捕集する前に、前記第2のガスを除去するように前記第1のガスを濾過するステップをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記濾過するステップは、前記第1のガス回収容器内に前記第1のガスを捕集する前に、前記第2のガスを除去するように前記第2のガスを反応させて水を形成することを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
