Claims (10)
- ワイヤレスの拡張型自己組織化ネットワーク(拡張型SON)においてネットワーク負荷バランシングのためのポリシーを自動的に調整し、またローカルに強制する方法であって、
ネットワーク測定データを収集するステップと、
ネットワーク・トポロジ情報に関連して、前記収集された測定ネットワーク・データを分析することによりネットワーク・ヘルス・ステートを決定するステップと、
前記決定されたネットワーク・ヘルス・ステートの関数として1つまたは複数のポリシー・アップデートを識別するステップと、
前記ネットワークにおいてパケット・ゲートウェイ(PGW)ノードと、少なくとも1つの非PGWノードとに対して前記1つまたは複数のポリシー・アップデートを普及させるステップと、
前記PGWノードと前記少なくとも1つの非PGWノードとにおける前記1つまたは複数のポリシー・アップデートを前記拡張型SONにおいてネットワーク・トラフィック負荷をバランスさせるようにローカルに強制するステップと
を備える方法。 - 前記のワイヤレスの拡張型SONネットワークは、ロング・ターム・エボリューション(LTE)ネットワークである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの非PGWノードは、
モビリティ管理エンティティ(MME)モジュールと、
サービング・ゲートウェイ(SGW)モジュールと、
進化型ユニバーサル・モバイル・テレコミュニケーション・システムの地上波無線アクセス・ネットワーク(E−UTRAN)ノードB(eNB)と
のうちの1つまたは複数のものである、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記のワイヤレスの拡張型SONネットワークは、広帯域符号分割多元接続(WCDMA)ネットワークである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの非PGWノードは、
無線ネットワーク制御装置モジュールと、
サービング汎用パケット無線サービス(GPRS)サポート・ノード(SGSN)モジュールと、
ノードB(NB)と
のうちの1つまたは複数のものである、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記のワイヤレスの拡張型SONネットワークは、符号分割多元接続(CDMA)ネットワークである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの非PGWノードは、
無線ネットワーク制御装置モジュールと、
パケット・データ・サービング・ノード(PDSN)モジュールと、
ノードB(NB)と
のうちの1つまたは複数のものである、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記ネットワーク測定データは、
ワイヤレス・ネットワーク・ガーディアン(WNG)モジュールと、
Celnet Xplorerモジュールと、
コール当たりの測定データ(PCMD)モジュールと
のうちの少なくとも1つによって収集される、請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つのポリシーは、
所与の期間にわたって所与の地理的ロケーションにおいてユーザのビット・レートを所定の最大ビット・レートに制限するネットワーク・ポリシーと、
ユーザ・ポリシーと
のうちの少なくとも一方であり、前記ユーザ・ポリシーは、
小型カバレッジ・セルに低モビリティ・ユーザを割り当て、また大型カバレッジ・セルに高モビリティ・ユーザを割り当てるポリシーと、
小型カバレッジ・セルに高データ・レート・ユーザを割り当て、また大型カバレッジ・セルに低データ・レート・ユーザを割り当てるポリシーと
のうちの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の方法を実行するための、ストレージ媒体の上に記憶されるコンピュータ実行可能命令を実行するように構成されたプロセッサ。
