Description

Claims (11)
- a)同軸に配置された内部管状部材および外部管状部材を備える管状構成と、長手方向に対向した近位端部分および遠位端部分を有し、内壁を有する前記内部管状部材が、器具の通過に適応するルーメンを形成する、細長いトロカール本体と、
b)前記トロカール本体の前記近位端部分に隣接して形成され、かつ、前記内部管状部材の前記内壁に沿った間隙によって形成され、加圧流体を前記トロカール本体の長手方向軸に対して0から10度の角度で前記ルーメン内に向けるように構成して、前記ルーメンの前記近位端部分に隣接する位置における、前記ルーメン内の一部分において圧力差を生じさせ、かつ、維持して、前記ルーメンの内部を通過する前記器具の周囲に流体シールを形成する環状ノズルと、ここで、前記環状ノズルを形成する前記間隙が、前記内部管状部材の近位端の角度のあるシール部分の表面部分と、これに隣接する内部管状挿入具の角度のある遠位端表面との間に形成され、かつ、前記間隙が、前記内部管状挿入具の前記角度のある遠位端表面または前記内部管状部材の前記角度のあるシール部分の表面部分のいずれか一方に設けられた複数のスタンドオフによって維持され、かつ、前記環状ノズルを形成する前記間隙の厚さが0.254mm以下であり、
c)前記環状ノズルに加圧流体を送る手段と、
を具備し、これによって、前記ルーメン内の一部分に生じた加圧流体の圧力差が維持され、もって、前記器具の周囲に前記流体シールが形成され、前記流体シールのみにより、前記器具の周囲に形成された気腹から注入された流体が流出するのを阻止することを特徴とする低侵襲外科手術装置に使用されるトロカール。 - 前記トロカール本体の前記内壁および外壁が、円形断面を有する円柱状である、請求項1に記載のトロカール。
- 前記トロカール本体の前記内壁および前記外壁が、楕円形断面を有する、請求項1に記載のトロカール。
- 前記加圧流体を送る手段が、前記内壁と前記外壁との間に形成される流体通路である、請求項1に記載のトロカール。
- 患者の体腔内の圧力を検出する圧力検知手段をさらに具備する、請求項1に記載のトロカール。
- 前記圧力検知手段が、流体通路を備え、前記流体通路が、前記トロカール本体によって支持され、使用時に、体腔内の圧力を測定するため、患者の体腔内と流体連通するように構成され、かつ適合される、請求項5に記載のトロカール。
- 前記流体通路が、前記トロカール本体の前記外壁の外面に形成される、請求項6に記載のトロカール。
- 前記流体通路が、前記トロカール本体の前記外壁の周囲に同心円状に配置され、前記流体通路が環状断面を有する、請求項6に記載のトロカール。
- 前記流体通路が、前記トロカール本体の前記外壁内に形成され、かつ、前記トロカール本体の前記外壁の外面に形成される環状の孔で終端する、請求項6に記載のトロカール。
- 前記トロカール本体の前記近位端部分に形成される再循環チャンバをさらに具備し、前記再循環チャンバが、前記ルーメンと流体連通し、かつ、前記トロカール本体の前記近位端部分に向かって流れる流体の再循環のための収集領域を提供するように構成され、かつ、適合される、請求項1に記載のトロカール。
- a)前記トロカール本体の前記近位端部分に形成され、前記ルーメンと流体連通し、かつ、前記トロカール本体の前記近位端部分に向かって流れる流体流を抑制するために圧力が増大した領域を提供するように構成され、かつ、適合される圧力チャンバと、
b)前記圧力チャンバと流体連通し、前記圧力チャンバ内の所定圧力を維持するために十分なガス流を提供する供給ラインに接続されるガス供給ポートと、
をさらに具備する、請求項1に記載のトロカール。
