Description
実施形態1の液晶表示パネルは、一対の基板と、上記一対の基板に挟持された液晶層とを有する。図1は、実施形態1の液晶表示パネルの一方の基板の基板面を拡大した平面模式図である。図1に示すように、実施形態1の液晶表示パネルは、一方の基板(以下、アレイ基板ともいう。)に、行方向に延伸された走査配線11、及び、列方向に延伸された信号配線12を有し、これらに囲まれた領域が一つのサブ画素を構成する。

Claims (2)
- 一対の基板と、該一対の基板に挟持された液晶層とを有するMVAモードの液晶表示パネルであって、
該一対の基板の一方は、着色層、遮光層、及び、他方の基板に向かって突出した壁状の液晶配向制御突起物を備え、
該液晶配向制御突起物は、主突起物と、該主突起物よりも低い副突起物とを含み、
該副突起物は、該着色層と該遮光層との境界線に沿って該着色層上に配置され、
該副突起物の高さと該着色層の高さとを足した高さは、該遮光層の高さとの差が1μm以下である
ことを特徴とする液晶表示パネル。 - 前記副突起物は、前記主突起物よりも狭い幅をもつことを特徴とする請求項1記載の液晶表示パネル。
