Description
上記の実施形態の各々における同軸ケーブル装置本体の外側の寸法は、医術において周知のように、特定の医療措置に合うように、必要に応じて適合してよい。一実施形態においては、本装置は心臓組織を焼灼するのに用いられる。しかし、本装置は、身体の内部及び外部における異なる器官の他の種類の身体組織を焼灼するのに用いてよい。同軸ケーブル装置の管状体は、通常、体血管の環境と生体適合性のあるポリマー材から構成されてよい。
Claims (21)
- 生体組織焼灼用のラジオ波エネルギーの伝送装置において、
近位端部と遠位末端部とを有する中空状の同軸電気ケーブルと、
前記中空状の同軸ケーブルに電気的に接続され、ラジオ波エネルギーを前記生体組織に伝える焼灼部材と、
を含み、
前記中空状の同軸電気ケーブルは、
(i)中空状の腔(lumen)を有する細長い導電性の筒状部材を含む内側の導体と、
(ii)少なくとも前記内側の導体の一部に対してほぼ同軸の関係に配置されている細長い導電性の筒状部材を含み、かつ前記内側の導体の壁と外側の導体の壁との間に誘電体媒質を挿置する空間を規定する前記外側の導体と、
を含み、さらに
前記誘電体媒質は、固体の誘電体層の複数の表面のうち少なくとも1つの表面上に選択的に形成された複数の凹部を有する前記固体の誘電体層と、前記凹部に充填される誘電体流体とを含む
ことを特徴とするラジオ波エネルギー伝送装置。 - 前記ラジオ波が、およそ300MHz以上からのマイクロ波周波数のラジオ波を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記RFアンテナが、前記ケーブルの前記遠位末端部のまわりに巻かれているヘリカルコイルを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記中空状の腔の遠位末端が開いている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記中空状の腔の遠位末端が閉められる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導電性筒状部材のうちの少なくとも1つが導電性のワイヤメッシュで形成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導電性筒状部材のうちの少なくとも1つが導電性の編組材料で形成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導電性筒状部材のうちの少なくとも1つが導電性の薄膜材料で形成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記内側と外側の導体間の前記空間が、真空を画定する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記内側と外側の導体間の前記空間が、真空源と流体連通している、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記内側と外側の導体間の前記空間が、前記中空状の腔と流体連通している、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記固体誘電体層が、前記内側の導体の壁と外側の導体の壁との間の前記空間をほぼ充填する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記凹部が、前記ケーブルの軸とほぼ平行に延びるように形成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記凹部が、前記誘電体層の両面の上に形成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記凹部が、十字交差模様に形成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記誘電体媒質上に形成される前記凹部のうちの少なくとも1つが、前記中空状の腔と流体連通している、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記誘電体媒質が、前記ケーブルの軸の周りに等角度に配置され、前記同軸ケーブルの軸とほぼ平行に位置付けられている、1つまたは複数の細長い尾根部材を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 少なくとも1つまたは複数の細長い尾根部材が、前記同軸ケーブルの軸と平行に延びている通路を含む、請求項17に記載の装置。
- 前記焼灼部材が、モノポールビード(monopole bead)を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記焼灼部材が、一対の間隔が空けられた導電性のマイクロストリップを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- ラジオ波焼灼機器であって、
生体組織焼灼用のラジオ波(RF)エネルギーを伝送するように適合された近位端と遠位末端とを有する細長い中空状の同軸ケーブルを含み、
前記中空状の同軸ケーブルが、
前記ケーブルの遠位末端部に配置され、生体組織焼灼用の入力RFエネルギーを受け取るラジオ波(RF)アンテナと、
前記ケーブルを前記RFアンテナ用のRF信号発生器に接続する、前記ケーブルの近位端の電気的コネクターと、
前記ケーブルを通って前記近位端から前記RFアンテナまで延び、かつ、前記電気的コネクターを通じて前記RFアンテナを前記RF信号発生器に接続する、周囲に間隔を空けて同軸状に位置決めされた内側と外側の導電性の筒状部材と、
前記内側と外側の導電性の筒状部材の間に挿置される誘電体媒質と、
を含み、
前記内側の筒状部材が、前記ケーブルの前記近位端からの前記遠位末端部に延びる、軸方向に延びる中空状の腔を有し、さらに
前記誘電体媒質は、固体の誘電体層の複数の表面のうち少なくとも1つの表面上に選択的に形成された複数の凹部を有する前記固体の誘電体層と、前記凹部に充填される誘電体流体とを含む
ことを特徴とするラジオ波焼灼機器。
