前記光センシングプレートの前記端面に結合される、前記表面改質構造において進路が変えられた前記光を検出するための少なくとも1つの光センサであって、前記少なくとも1つの光源の光束を制御するための制御手段に結合される少なくとも1つの光センサ、
を有する照明システムにより達成される。
Claims (10)
- 少なくとも1つの光源、
前記少なくとも1つの光源により放たれた光を受ける光透過性プレート、
前記光透過性プレートの表面の少なくとも1つの所定位置に設けられる表面改質構造であって、該表面改質構造は、前記光透過性プレートを通る光の一部の進路を変え、該進路が変えられた光は、前記光透過性プレートの端面に向けて案内される、表面改質構造、及び
前記光透過性プレートの前記端面に結合される、前記表面改質構造において進路が変えられた前記光を検出するための少なくとも1つの光センサであって、前記少なくとも1つの光源の光束を制御するための制御手段に結合される少なくとも1つの光センサ、
を有する照明システムであって、
前記光透過性プレートは、受けた前記光が、前記表面改質構造の前記所定位置以外の前記光透過性プレートの全ての場所において前記光透過性プレートを横切るように配されていて、
第1光センサは、前記光透過性プレートの第1端面に結合され、第2光センサは、前記光透過性プレートの第2端面に結合され、第1及び第2表面改質構造は、前記光透過性プレートの前記表面の所定位置に配設され、前記第1光センサは、実質的に排他的に前記第1表面改質構造からの進路が変えられた光を受け、前記第2光センサは、実質的に排他的に前記第2表面改質構造からの進路が変えられた光を受ける、照明システム。 - 前記少なくとも1つの光センサは視野を持ち、当該少なくとも1つの光センサの視野に入る進路が変えられた光を受けることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの光源は、別個の原色の複数の発光ダイオード、又は単一の原色の複数の発光ダイオードを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明システム。
- 当該照明システムはさらに、光放出窓を持つ光混合チャンバを有し、前記光透過性プレートが、前記光混合チャンバ内で前記少なくとも1つの光源と前記光放出窓との間に配設されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明システム。
- 前記光透過性プレートは、前記光放出窓の一部を成すことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の照明システム。
- 前記表面改質構造において進路が変えられる前記光の前記一部は、前記光透過性プレートを通る光の総量の5%より少ないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明システム。
- 請求項1に記載の照明システムに用いる光透過性プレート。
- 請求項4に記載の照明システムを有する表示装置。
- 当該表示装置は液晶表示装置であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の表示装置。
- 前記光透過性プレートは、受け取られた前記光が、前記表面改質構造の前記所定位置以外の前記光透過性プレートの全ての場所において、進路を変られることなく、前記光透過性プレートを横切るように配されている、請求項1に記載の照明システム。
