Description
Claims (15)
- マルチキャリアワイヤレスネットワークにおける移動局の電源管理方法であって、
初期測距を実行することにより、移動局と基地局間に、プライマリー接続を構築して、プライマリー無線周波数(RF)キャリア上で電力を調整するステップと、
開ループ電力制御を実行し、これにより、プライマリーRFキャリアの長期リンク測定を得るステップと、
周期的測距を実行することにより、移動局と基地局間に、セカンダリー接続を構築して、セカンダリーRFキャリア上で電力を調整するステップと、を含み、
前記周期的測距は、前記プライマリーRFキャリアの前記リンク測定を用いて実行され、初期測距の再構築が不要であること、
を特徴とする方法。 - 前記初期測距と前記周期的測距は、タイミングと周波数調整に用いられ、前記周期的測距は、初期周波数と前記プライマリーRFキャリアのタイミング値を用いて実行されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 更に、
前記プライマリーRFキャリアと前記セカンダリーRFキャリア間の電力差を計算するステップと、
前記電力差に基づいて、前記セカンダリーRFキャリアの伝送電力を調整するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 更に、
閉ループ電力制御を実行して、進行中のデータ伝送を運ぶ起動したRFキャリア上で、前記基地局からのアップリンク電力制御メッセージを受信するステップと、
前記電力制御メッセージに基づいて、前記起動したRFキャリアの伝送電力を調整するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 更に、
前記プライマリー接続に用いる一組のスリープモードパラメータを協議するステップと、
スリープモード操作に進入し、一つ、又は、それ以上の予め指定されたRFキャリアを配置して、データ伝送するステップと、
リスニングウィンドウ期間、前記の一つ、又は、それ以上の予め指定されたRFキャリアを目覚めさせて、データ受信し、いかなるトラフィック指示メッセージも受信しないステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - マルチキャリアワイヤレスネットワーク中の移動局であって、
プライマリーRFキャリア上で操作し、初期測距を実行することにより、基地局とプライマリー接続を構築して、前記プライマリーRFキャリア上の電力を調整し、開ループ電力制御が実行されて、前記プライマリーRFキャリアの長期リンク測定を得る第一RFモジュールと、
セカンダリーRFキャリア上で操作し、周期的測距を実行することにより、前記基地局とセカンダリー接続を構築して、前記セカンダリーRFキャリア上の電力を調整する第二RFモジュールと、を含み、
前記周期的測距は、前記プライマリーRFキャリアの前記リンク測定を用いて実行され、初期測距が不要であることを特徴とする移動局。 - 前記初期測距と前記周期的測距は、タイミングと周波数調整に用いられ、前記周期的測距は、初期周波数と前記プライマリーRFキャリアのタイミング値を用いて実行されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の移動局。
- 前記プライマリーRFキャリアと前記セカンダリーRFキャリア間の電力差が計算され、前記セカンダリーRFキャリアの伝送電力は、前記電力差に基づいて調整されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の移動局。
- 閉ループ電力制御は、進行中のデータ伝送を運ぶ起動したRFキャリア上で実行され、前記起動したRFキャリアの伝送電力は、前記基地局から受信されるアップリンク電力制御メッセージに基づいて調整されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の移動局。
- 前記起動したRFキャリアは、前記プライマリーRFキャリア、又は、前記セカンダリーRFキャリアであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の移動局。
- 更に、
スリープモード操作を構築し、前記移動局がスリープモードに進入し、前記プライマリーRFキャリア上で、トラフィック指示メッセージを受信し、前記トラフィック指示メッセージが正のデータトラフィックを示す場合、一つ、又は、それ以上の対応するRFモジュールが目覚めて、データ受信するスリープモード操作モジュールを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の移動局。 - 前記の一つ、又は、それ以上の対応するRFモジュールは、前記基地局からの目覚まし指示メッセージにより識別される複数の起動したRFキャリア上で操作可能であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の移動局。
- 前記目覚まし指示メッセージを受信し、起床時間経過後、前記の一つ、又は、それ以上の対応するRFモジュールが目覚めて、データ受信することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の移動局。
- 前記スリープモード操作期間、前記基地局からキャリア切り換えに用いるMAC管理メッセージを受信後、前記プライマリーRFキャリアが、別の起動したセカンダリーキャリアに切り換えられることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の移動局。
- 前記移動局がスリープモード操作に進入し、一つ、又は、それ以上の予め指定されたRFキャリアを配置して、データ伝送し、リスニングウィンドウ期間、前記の一つ、又は、それ以上の予め指定されたRFキャリアに関連する一つ、又は、それ以上のRFモジュールが目覚めて、データ受信し、いかなるトラフィック指示メッセージも受信しないことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の移動局。
