Description

装置Aに関して、FGAは、以下の方法でポリエーテル−アミドカテーテル上に固定される。6Fカテーテル(ミネソタ州メープルグローブ所在のScimed Life Systemus社より入手できる)はイソプロパノールで洗浄される。適当な寸法のTEFLON(登録商標)で覆われたステンレス鋼の心棒が、カテーテルをまっすぐに保つために、ルーメンに挿入される。カテーテルはプライマー溶液に浸され、約10分間で空気乾燥させる。その後、カテーテルは、FGA溶液に浸され、約15分間で空気乾燥され、再びFGA溶液に浸され、約15分間で空気乾燥させる。空気乾燥されたカテーテルを硬化するために、約60℃(140°F)のオーブンに約8乃至24時間配置する。
Claims (4)
- 生体組織に挿入するために構成される医療用装置であって、
前記医療用装置は、長手方向に延びるルーメンを有する細長い本体を備え、
前記医療用装置は、さらに、コイルからなる画像センサを含み、
前記コイルは、前記医療用装置の前記細長い本体の周りに搭載されていて、
前記細長い本体には、生体組織中に存在する水素原子核の共鳴周波数と異なる共鳴周波数を持つ、スピン1/2の原子核を有するMRI検出可能な物質が設けられ、
前記スピン1/2の原子核を有するMRI検出可能な物質は、フッ素化合物であり、前記フッ素化合物は、微細孔性フィルムの孔内に存在することを特徴とする医療用装置。 - 前記フッ素化合物は、ペルフルオロデカリンを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記フッ素化合物は、ペルフルオロ−[15]−クラウン−5−エーテルを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記スピン1/2の原子核を有するMRI検出可能な物質は、水酸化アンモニウムでpH9に調整されたフッ素化アルギナートの水溶液から形成された被膜であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用装置。
