Description
(i)1つ以上のアニオン性モノマー、
(ii)アクリルアミドである第1の非イオン性ビニルモノマー、および
(iii)少なくとも1つの第2の非イオン性ビニルモノマー;
を含むモノマー混合物、水溶性塩、ならびに安定剤を重合形態で含むアニオン性水溶性分散ポリマーを含む水性ポリマー分散液であって、該水溶性塩が分散液の総重量に基づいて少なくとも2.0重量%の量で存在する、水性ポリマー分散液に関する。
(i)1つ以上のアニオン性モノマー、
(ii)アクリルアミドである第1の非イオン性モノマー、および
(iii)少なくとも1つの第2の非イオン性ビニルモノマー;
を含むモノマー混合物を、フリーラジカル形成条件下で、安定剤の存在下にて水溶性塩の水溶液中で重合させることを含む、アニオン性水溶性分散ポリマーを含む水性ポリマー分散液の製造方法であって、該水溶性塩は分散液の重量に基づいて少なくとも2.0重量%の量で存在する、製造方法に関する。
(i)セルロース繊維を含む水性懸濁液を得ること;
(ii)該懸濁液に、本発明の水性ポリマー分散液を含む1つ以上の排液および保持補助材を添加すること;ならびに
(iii)得られた懸濁液を脱水すること
を含む、紙の製造方法に概して関する。
本実施例は、従来技術の技術的教示、および本発明による水性ポリマー分散液の調製を示す。
設定容量のストックを排液するのにかかった時間を測定する、Akribi AB(スウェーデン)から入手可能な排液動態分析器(DDA)を用いて、実施例1のアニオン性ポリマー分散液の排液性能を評価した。化学物質の添加を行う一方で、テストの間中ストックをバッフル付瓶の中で1500rpmの速度で攪拌した。プラグを外し、ワイヤーの、ストックが存在する側とは反対側を真空にして、800mlのストック容量をワイヤーを介して排液した。排液性能は、脱水時間(秒)として報告する。
(i)カチオン性でんぷんを添加した後、20秒間の攪拌;
(ii)アニオン性分散ポリマーを添加した後、10秒間の攪拌;および
(iii)排液時間を自動記録しながらストックを排液。
Claims (23)
- (i)1つ以上のアニオン性モノマー、
(ii)アクリルアミドである第1の非イオン性ビニルモノマー、および
(iii)少なくとも1つの第2の非イオン性ビニルモノマー;
を含むモノマー混合物、水溶性塩、ならびに安定剤を重合形態で含むアニオン性水溶性分散ポリマーを含む水性ポリマー分散液であって、
該水溶性塩が前記水性ポリマー分散液の総重量に基づいて少なくとも2.0重量%の量で存在し、
前記モノマー混合物が、1〜40モル%のアニオン性モノマー、20〜98モル%のアクリルアミド、および1〜40モル%の第2の非イオン性ビニルモノマーを含み、そのパーセントがモノマーの総量に基づいており、その合計パーセントが100であり、
前記安定剤がポリマーである、水性ポリマー分散液。 - 前記アニオン性モノマーがアクリル酸またはメタクリル酸である、請求項1に記載の水性ポリマー分散液。
- 前記第2の非イオン性ビニルモノマーが、メチルメタクリレート、エチルメチルアクリレート、酢酸ビニル、およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載の水性ポリマー分散液。
- 前記アニオン性水溶性分散ポリマーが、前記分散液の総重量に基づいて5〜40重量%の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の水性ポリマー分散液。
- 前記安定剤が、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、または2-アクリルアミド-2-メチル-1-プロパンスルホン酸に基づくアニオン性ポリマーまたはコポリマーである、請求項1に記載の水性ポリマー分散液。
- 前記安定剤が、5,000〜2,000,000g/モルの重量平均分子量を有する、請求項1に記載の水性ポリマー分散液。
- 前記水溶性塩が、一価、二価および三価アニオンの、アンモニア、アルカリ金属およびアルカリ土類金属塩から選択される、請求項1に記載の水性ポリマー分散液。
- 前記水溶性塩が、硫酸アンモニア、硫酸ナトリウム、またはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項1に記載の水性ポリマー分散液。
- 前記水溶性塩が、前記分散液の総重量に基づいて3〜40重量%の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の水性ポリマー分散液。
- (i)1つ以上のアニオン性モノマー、
(ii)アクリルアミドである第1の非イオン性モノマー、および
(iii)少なくとも1つの第2の非イオン性ビニルモノマー;
を含むモノマー混合物を、フリーラジカル形成条件下で、安定剤の存在下にて水溶性塩の水溶液中で重合して、アニオン性水溶性分散ポリマーを形成することを含む、水性ポリマー分散液の製造方法であって、
前記モノマー混合物が、1〜40モル%のアニオン性モノマー、20〜98モル%のアクリルアミド、および1〜40モル%の第2の非イオン性ビニルモノマーを含み、そのパーセントがモノマーの総量に基づいており、その合計パーセントが100であり、
前記安定剤がポリマーであり、
該水溶性塩は前記水性ポリマー分散液の総重量に基づいて少なくとも2.0重量%の量で存在する、前記製造方法。 - 前記アニオン性モノマーがアクリル酸またはメタクリル酸である、請求項10に記載の製造方法。
- 前記第2の非イオン性ビニルモノマーが、メチルメタクリレート、エチルメチルアクリレート、酢酸ビニル、およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選択される、請求項10に記載の製造方法。
- 前記アニオン性水溶性分散ポリマーが、前記分散液の総重量に基づいて5〜40重量%の量で存在する、請求項10に記載の製造方法。
- 前記安定剤が、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、または2-アクリルアミド-2-メチル-1-プロパンスルホン酸に基づくアニオン性ポリマーまたはコポリマーである、請求項10に記載の製造方法。
- 前記安定剤が、5,000〜2,000,000g/モルの重量平均分子量を有する、請求項10に記載の製造方法。
- 前記水溶性塩が、一価、二価および三価アニオンの、アンモニア、アルカリ金属およびアルカリ土類金属塩から選択される、請求項10に記載の製造方法。
- 前記水溶性塩が、硫酸アンモニア、硫酸ナトリウム、またはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項10に記載の製造方法。
- 前記水溶性塩が、前記分散液の総重量に基づいて3〜40重量%の量で存在する、請求項10に記載の製造方法。
- 前記重合が45〜65℃の温度にて行われる、請求項10に記載の製造方法。
- 製紙における凝集剤としての、請求項1に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- 浄水としての、請求項1に記載の水性ポリマー分散液の使用。
- (i)セルロース繊維を含む水性懸濁液を得る工程;
(ii)該懸濁液に、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の水性ポリマー分散液を含む1つ以上の排液および保持補助材を添加する工程;及び
(iii)得られた懸濁液を脱水する工程
を含む、紙の製造方法。 - 前記排液および保持補助材が、カチオン性でんぷんまたはカチオン性ポリアクリルアミドであるカチオン性ポリマーを含む、請求項22に記載の製造方法。
