Description

The present invention relates to a security light attached to a structure such as a utility pole.

Conventionally, a crime prevention light that is attached to a support pole such as a utility pole and illuminates a street surface is known. In this type of security light, a fluorescent lamp is generally used as a light source (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

By the way, when a conventional crime prevention light is turned on at the time of a disaster and used as a lighting tool for disaster prevention (so-called disaster prevention light), there is a problem that if the life of the fluorescent lamp lamp is expired, the function as a disaster prevention light is not performed. .
Specifically, in the case of a guide light or an emergency light, an emergency inspection is obligatory, so that a situation in which the life of a fluorescent lamp has expired cannot occur. However, the security light is not obliged to be inspected and is arbitrarily inspected, so that depending on the span of the inspection, the fluorescent lamp lamp may be left out of service life. If a disaster occurs in such a case, the security light cannot function as a disaster prevention light.
This invention is made | formed in view of the situation mentioned above, and it aims at providing the crime prevention light which can be functioned as a disaster prevention light reliably at the time of a disaster.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a security light that is attached to an outdoor support column and illuminates a street surface, and has at least three LED units arranged along the street, each of the LED units. The central LED unit has a wide-angle orientation and illuminates the transverse direction of the street, each of the LED units on both sides has a narrow-angle light distribution and illuminates the traveling direction and backward direction of the street, A battery that stores the commercial power, and a light source for illuminating the light source to illuminate the light source and the light so as to satisfy predetermined standards; An abnormality detection unit that detects an abnormality in power supply, a lighting unit for disaster prevention that turns on the LED by the stored power of the battery when a supply abnormality is detected by the abnormality detection unit, and ambient brightness Further comprising an illuminance sensor for detecting, wherein the rear portion of the security light is formed in a shape along the outer circumferential surface of said post, said disaster prevention lighting unit, when an abnormality supply is detected by the abnormality detection unit, When the ambient brightness is brighter than a predetermined value, the LED is not lit, and when it is darker than the predetermined value, the brightness with a horizontal illuminance of 1 lux is lower than when lighting by the security lighting unit. The LED is turned on.

According to the present invention, the security light further includes a charging circuit unit that charges the battery, and the charging circuit unit, when charging the battery, performs rapid charging at the beginning of charging, so that the storage amount reaches a predetermined value. After reaching, trickle charging is performed.

According to the present invention, since the disaster prevention lighting unit that lights the light source unit when the supply of commercial power is abnormal is provided, the security light can function as a disaster prevention light during a disaster. Furthermore, the light source of the security light is an LED. Since the LED has a longer life than the fluorescent lamp and does not need to be replaced, the LED can be surely functioned as a disaster prevention lamp without being out of service when a disaster occurs.
Furthermore, since the light distribution of the security light has a light distribution that irradiates relatively far away, it is possible to produce a route guidance effect by turning on the light source unit during disaster prevention.

It is a flowchart which shows the lighting operation | movement of a LED crime prevention light. It is a perspective view which shows an example of the external appearance structure of LED crime prevention light.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a functional configuration of an LED security light 1 according to the present embodiment.
The LED crime prevention light 1 is roughly divided and includes an LED crime prevention light unit 3 and an LED disaster prevention unit 5.
The LED security light unit 3 functions as a security light, and includes a light source unit 7, a flasher 9, and an LED power source 11.
The light source unit 7 includes one or a plurality of LEDs 8 and illuminates the street surface with a uniform light distribution. The blinker 9 is supplied with commercial power from an external commercial power supply 13 and outputs commercial power to the LED power supply 11 when the ambient brightness is equal to or lower than a lighting threshold for crime prevention. The LED power source 11 generates predetermined LED driving power as commercial power, supplies the commercial power to the light source unit 7 via a switching unit 15 described later, and turns on the LED 8.

In general, the security light has a standard for brightness and light distribution, and the LED power source 11 generates LED driving power so as to satisfy the standard and turns on the LED 8. Specifically, the standard of brightness at which a crime prevention effect can be obtained differs depending on the pedestrian traffic volume, and it is recommended that the crime prevention light satisfy at least the standard value when the pedestrian traffic volume is small. The standard of brightness when the amount of pedestrian traffic is low is that the average brightness of the street surface is 3 lux or more, and the height from the road surface is 1.5 m (meters) on the central axis of the street. The vertical surface illuminance is 0.5 lux, and the behavior of a pedestrian ahead of 4 m (meters) is visible.
That is, LED8 of the said light source part 7 has the brightness | luminance and light distribution which achieve the illumination intensity which can fully recognize the behavior of a pedestrian even 4m (meter) away from the LED security light 1. FIG. In this way, in the crime prevention light, since the irradiation light reaches far away, it is possible to cause a route guiding effect by turning on the light at the time of disaster prevention.

The LED disaster prevention unit 5 functions the LED crime prevention light 1 as a disaster prevention light. That is, the LED disaster prevention unit 5 includes a voltage monitoring unit 21, a battery 23, a charging circuit unit 25, an LED lighting circuit 27, a switching unit 15, and an illuminance sensor 29. The LED disaster prevention unit 5 may have either a configuration built in the housing of the LED security light 1 or a configuration externally attached to the outside of the housing.

The voltage monitoring unit 21 is connected to the commercial power supply 13 and monitors the commercial power voltage to detect an abnormality in the commercial power supply. Specifically, the commercial power of 100V to 240V is normally input to the LED crime prevention light 1, and if a failure occurs in the power lifeline due to a disaster or the like, The voltage of commercial power decreases. Therefore, the voltage monitoring unit 21 determines that a disaster has occurred when the commercial power voltage is equal to or lower than an abnormality determination voltage (for example, any voltage value of 40 V to 85 V: 60 V in this embodiment). In order to make the lamp 1 function as a disaster prevention lamp, a disaster prevention lamp operation signal is output to the LED lighting circuit 27 and the switching unit 15.

The battery 23 stores electric power for turning on the light source unit 7 during the operation of the disaster prevention lamp. For the battery 23, for example, a nickel cadmium battery or a nickel metal hydride battery is preferably used. The charging circuit unit 25 is connected to the commercial power source 13 and stores the commercial power supplied from the commercial power source 13 in the battery 23. The illuminance sensor 29 detects the brightness around the LED security light 1 and outputs it to the LED lighting circuit 27. When the ambient light detected by the illuminance sensor 29 is darker than the predetermined value when the disaster prevention lamp operation signal is input from the voltage monitoring unit 21, the LED lighting circuit 27 converts the LED drive power from the stored power of the battery 23. Is supplied to the light source unit 7 via the switching unit 15. The switching unit 15 electrically connects the LED power source 11 of the LED security light unit 3 and the light source unit 7 to satisfy the standard of the security light while the disaster monitoring light operation signal of the voltage monitoring unit 21 is not input. When the LED 8 of the light source unit 7 is turned on and a disaster prevention lamp operation signal is input, the connection destination of the light source unit 7 is switched to the LED lighting circuit 27 of the LED disaster prevention unit 5 and the LED 8 of the light source unit 7 is switched. Turn on as a disaster light.

FIG. 2 is a flowchart showing the lighting operation of the LED security light 1.
The LED security light 1 is supplied with commercial power from the commercial power supply 13 as the power is turned on, and starts charging the battery 23 (step S1).
In this charging operation, the charging circuit unit 25 performs rapid charging at the beginning of charging until the charging amount reaches at least the minimum charging amount that should be ensured as charging power, and then switches to trickle charging to achieve full charging. Charge until. The minimum amount of charge is set to the amount of power required to light the light source unit 7 continuously, for example, for about 3 hours when functioning as a disaster prevention light.
In this way, rapid charging is performed until the minimum amount of charge required to keep the light source unit 7 lit for a predetermined time is reached, so that the minimum amount of charge can be secured early to cope with an unexpected disaster. Has been.

After the power is turned on, the voltage monitoring unit 21 monitors the voltage of the commercial power, and the normal / abnormal commercial power is determined based on the voltage (step S2).
When the commercial power supply is normal (step S2: normal), the LED security light 1 operates as a security light. That is, ambient brightness is detected by the flasher 9, and day / night determination (brightness determination) is performed (step S3). When it is determined that it is daytime (bright) (step S3: daytime), the LED 8 is not turned on and remains off (step S4). When it is determined that it is nighttime (dark) (step S3: night), LED drive power is supplied from the LED power source 11 to the LED 8 via the switching unit 15, and the LED 8 is lit so as to satisfy the criterion of the security light (always lit) (step S5).

On the other hand, when an abnormality is detected in the power supply of the commercial power source due to a disaster or the like (step S2: abnormality), the LED crime prevention light 1 operates as a disaster prevention light. That is, the switching unit 15 switches the power supply to the light source unit 7 to the LED lighting circuit 27 of the LED disaster prevention unit 5 based on the disaster light operation signal output when the voltage monitoring unit 21 detects the commercial power supply abnormality, and the illuminance sensor 29 It is determined whether or not the LED 8 is turned on based on the detected ambient brightness (step S6). When the surroundings are brighter than the predetermined value as in the daytime (step S6: noon), it is not necessary to illuminate the street surface, so the LED 8 is not turned on (step S7), and the surroundings are darker than the predetermined value as at night In the case (step S6: night), the LED 8 is lit with the electric power stored in the battery 23 for more than the predetermined time (for example, 3 hours) (emergency lighting) (step S8).
At the time of the operation of the emergency light, the brightness of the LED security light 1 is reduced from the brightness at the time of the security light operation (always on) (for example, horizontal illuminance of 3 or 5 lux (lux)) to 1 lux required for the emergency light, The lighting time of at least 3 hours is maintained while suppressing power consumption.
If there is an abnormality in the commercial power supply, a blackout will occur in the surrounding private house, etc., and the lighting in the home will be extinguished, so the surroundings will be darker than usual, and even if the output of the LED 8 is reduced, it will be far away It is possible to visually recognize the LED security light 1 sufficiently. In addition, as described above, since the light distribution is such that the irradiation light reaches relatively far away, a route guiding effect can be sufficiently generated.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing an example of an external configuration of the LED crime prevention light 1.
The LED security light 1 has a security light main body 4 that houses a light source unit 7. The security light body 4 is bent so as to draw an arc along the outer peripheral surface of the utility pole 2, and is formed in a generally fan shape as viewed from the bottom, and a metal band-like mounting band (not shown) provided on the back side thereof. Z)). The security light body 4 includes the LED security light part 3 including the light source part 7 described above, and the LED disaster prevention unit 5 is provided in the external case 50 and is provided separately from the security light body 4. ing.
The inside of the security light main body is divided up and down by a partition plate 10, and the flasher 9 and the LED power source 11 of the LED security light unit 3 are built in the upper space, and the light source unit 7 is arranged in the lower space. A light projecting opening 14 is opened on the lower surface of the security light main body 4, and irradiation light is irradiated from the light projecting opening 14 toward the street surface.

The light source unit 7 includes first, second, and third LED units 8A to 8C arranged along an arc, and a unit mounting portion 35 that fixes the first to third LED units 8A to 8C. Each of the first to third LED units 8A to 8C includes an LED light source 41 configured by including a lens body 40 formed of a resin material such as acrylic resin in a bullet shape and an LED element (not shown). It is configured to be mounted on a mount substrate 42 formed of a conductive material, and the light distribution characteristics can be controlled by adjusting the shape of the lens body 40.

In the light source unit 7, the first LED unit 8 </ b> A and the second LED unit 8 </ b> B on both sides illuminate the traveling and retreating directions of the street, and the central third LED unit 8 </ b> C illuminates the crossing direction of the street from the utility pole 2. Thereby, a wide range along the street is illuminated.
Further, the light distribution of the first and second LED units 8 </ b> A and 8 </ b> B that illuminate the street traveling direction and the backward direction is a narrow-angle light distribution, so that sufficient brightness can be maintained far from the LED security light 1. In addition, by making the light distribution of the third LED unit 8C that illuminates the crossing direction of the street a wide-angle light distribution, the illumination intensity is approximately the same as the traveling direction of the street by irradiating the vicinity of the LED security light 1 widely It is suppressed. Thereby, the illumination nonuniformity is suppressed over the whole irradiation range.

And when this LED crime prevention light 1 lights as a disaster prevention light at the time of a disaster occurrence, the wide range along a street is illuminated without uneven illumination. Thereby, a uniform route guiding effect can be obtained in a wide range.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, since the light source unit 7 is turned on when supply of commercial power is abnormal, the security light can function as a disaster prevention light in the event of a disaster. Further, the LED 8 is used as the light source of the light source unit 7. Since the LED 8 has a longer life than the fluorescent lamp and does not need to be replaced, the LED 8 can be surely functioned as a disaster prevention lamp without being expired when a disaster occurs.
Furthermore, since it has the light distribution which irradiates comparatively far away, the guidance effect of a path | route can be produced by lighting the light source part 7 at the time of disaster prevention.

Moreover, according to this embodiment, when it functions as a disaster prevention light, it was set as the structure which lights LED8 with the brightness | luminance lower than the time of lighting as a crime prevention light. Thereby, the power consumption of the battery 23 can be suppressed and the lighting time can be extended.

In addition, according to the present embodiment, when charging the battery 23, rapid charging is performed at the beginning of power storage, and after the power storage amount reaches the minimum charge amount, the configuration is switched to trickle charge, so the minimum charge amount is secured early. To prepare for disasters.

The above-described embodiment is merely an aspect of the present invention, and can be arbitrarily modified and applied within the scope of the present invention.
For example, the LED crime prevention light 1 may be provided with a charge monitor for notifying that the charging operation is being performed by turning on the lamp or the like so that abnormality of the battery 23 or disconnection of the battery connector can be detected. Furthermore, the LED crime prevention light 1 and the management center can be connected so as to be able to perform electrical communication, and the lighting state of the LED crime prevention light 1 can be confirmed by communication from the management center or the like.
Moreover, while performing the inspection test which turns on the LED crime prevention light 1 as a disaster prevention light for a predetermined time (for example, 3 hours), the voltage of the battery 23 is monitored, and the battery capacity is insufficient when the voltage falls below a predetermined threshold value. A circuit for determining (life) may be provided, and the determination result may be notified by, for example, lighting of a red LED provided in the charge monitor, and the battery replacement may be promoted.
In addition, for example, an inspection switch that can perform switching of the switching unit 15 by a user operation may be provided, and it may be possible to inspect whether the LED security light 1 functions as a disaster prevention light by operating the inspection switch.
For example, in the above-described embodiment, when charging the battery 23, the trickle charging is performed after the rapid charging is performed. However, the configuration is not limited to this, and the trickle charging may be performed from the beginning.
