Description
以下、本実施形態の照明装置を図1および図2に基づいて説明する。なお、図1および図2において同じ部材に対しては、同じ番号を付して重複する説明を省略している。
図3(a),(b)に示す本実施形態の照明装置20は、図1で示した実施形態1の照明装置20における二種類の発光装置10b,10yを用いる代わりに、図3(c)に示すxy色度図上の三つの色度点Wr,Wg,Wbを発光する三種類の発光装置10r,10g,10bを用いた点が異なる。なお、実施形態1と同様の構成要素には、同一の符号を付して説明を適宜省略する。
平板状の各第二の波長変換部4r,4g,4bを各パッケージ3における前記凹部上に形成させて、第二の波長変換部4r,4g,4bと、LEDチップ1を被覆した第一の波長変換部2とを空気層5を介して対向配置させてもよい。
本実施形態は、図4(b)で示した実施形態2の照明装置20における第二の波長変換部4bが設けられていない発光装置10bを用いる代わりに、図5に示すように第一の波長変換部2やLEDチップ1から放射された光を拡散させる拡散層9が設けられた発光装置10bを用いた点が異なる。なお、実施形態2と同様の構成要素には、同一の符号を付して説明を適宜省略する。
本実施形態は、図3で示した実施形態2の照明装置20における発光装置10r,10g,10bのそれぞれ異なる蛍光体を含有させた第二の波長変換部4r,4g,4bを用いる代わりに、第二の波長変換部4r,4g,4bは、第二の波長変換部4r,4g,4bが、共通の二種類以上の蛍光体を含有しており、前記蛍光体の含有比率が異なる点が相違する。

Claims (4)
- 発光色の異なる複数個の発光装置と、複数個の前記発光装置における光出力比を制御する制御装置とを備え、発光色の異なる複数個の前記発光装置から放射された光の混色光における色調を可変とする照明装置であって、複数個の前記発光装置は、それぞれ略同一の発光スペクトルの光で発光する発光素子と、該発光素子から放射された光の少なくとも一部を吸収し波長変換した蛍光を発する略同一の波長変換特性を有する第一の波長変換部と、前記発光素子と前記第一の波長変換部とを配置させるパッケージと、をそれぞれ備え、前記発光素子と前記第一の波長変換部と前記パッケージとが同一仕様をしており、複数個の前記発光装置のうち、一部の前記発光装置には、前記発光素子または前記第一の波長変換部の少なくとも一方から放射された光の少なくとも一部を吸収して蛍光を放射し、前記発光素子の放射する光と前記第一の波長変換部から放射された光とによる発光色とは異なる発光色にする第二の波長変換部を有することを特徴とする照明装置。
- 前記第二の波長変換部は、光を拡散させる光拡散材が含有されてなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 複数個の前記発光装置のうち、前記第二の波長変換部を有しない前記発光装置は、前記第一の波長変換部からの光を拡散させる拡散層を有することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記第二の波長変換部は、前記発光装置ごとに複数種類あって、各第二の波長変換部が、それぞれ共通する二種類以上の蛍光体を含有しており、二種類以上の前記蛍光体の含有比率が異なることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
