Description
The present invention relates to a sheet conveying apparatus and an image forming apparatus.
Conventionally, as a method for separating and conveying a sheet such as a stacked document or recording paper, a separation and conveyance method using frictional force or a separation and conveyance method using air suction or the like is known. In the separation and conveyance method using the frictional force, a rubber material or the like is used for the feeding roller, so that the frictional force is changed due to a change with time such as wear, and the conveyance performance is lowered. In addition, when sheets with different friction coefficients (variation) or sheets with different friction coefficients are separated and conveyed at the same time, there may be a conveyance failure such as multiple feeding simultaneously feeding multiple sheets or separation. . Furthermore, the sheet may be soiled due to the structure in which the pressure is applied and separated when the sheet is conveyed.
On the other hand, the separation and conveyance method using air suction is a non-friction separation method that does not depend on the friction coefficient of rollers or sheets. However, since an air suction blower and an air duct are required, the size of the apparatus is increased and air suction is performed. The sound becomes noise and is not suitable for use in an office.
In view of this, an electrostatic attraction separation conveyance method has been proposed, which is a type of non-friction separation method, in which an electric field is formed on a dielectric belt, and this is brought into contact with a sheet for adsorption and separation (for example, Patent Document 1).
FIG. 8 illustrates a
A
When transporting the uppermost sheet S1 of the
In the
However, in the
The present applicant is developing a sheet conveying apparatus that changes the swing angle of the suction belt based on the type of sheet and environmental conditions. As a result, the suction belt can be swung at an optimum swing angle according to the type of sheet and environmental conditions, and good separation performance can be obtained in various sheets and various environmental conditions.
However, in the sheet conveying apparatus under development, there is a problem that the sheet is peeled off from the suction belt when the conveying roller pair arranged on the upstream side in the sheet conveying direction from the suction belt is conveyed to the nip, resulting in a conveyance failure. There was a thing. As a result of intensive studies by the present inventors on this defect, the following was found. That is, a guide member for guiding the sheet to the nip of the conveyance roller pair is arranged between the adsorption belt and the conveyance roller pair, but depending on the swinging angle of the adsorption belt, the leading edge of the sheet may become a guide member. It turns out that there is a case of hitting. Thus, it has been found that the sheet peels from the suction belt due to the impact when the leading edge of the sheet hits the guide member.
The present invention has been made in view of the above background, and an object of the present invention is to provide a sheet conveying apparatus capable of obtaining good separation performance in various types of sheets and various environmental conditions and suppressing poor conveyance.

As shown in FIG. 2, the

The
The adsorption /
The sheet information can be obtained by the user operating an operation panel (not shown) provided in the copying machine when the sheets stacked in the
When the second sheet is difficult to separate, such as when the sheets stacked in the
On the other hand, when the uppermost sheet is easily separated from the suction belt, such as when the sheet loaded in the
The adsorption /
Further, ribs for stoppering are provided on the back surfaces of both side edges of the
Further, a

Next, the operation of the
[Charging operation]

[Suction operation]
As described above, when the charge pattern is formed on the
Thus, when the
[Separation / transport operation]
When waiting for a predetermined time in the state shown in FIG. 2 and the sheet S1 is adsorbed to the adsorbing
When the suction belt 13 (suction separation unit 12) has a swing angle determined based on sheet information such as the sheet thickness of the sheet stored in the

The linear speeds of the
The

The
As shown in FIG. 6A, when the
As shown in FIG. 6B, when the uppermost sheet S1 has a swing angle corresponding to a state in which the uppermost sheet S1 is easily peeled from the
In the present embodiment, the receiving
Further, the
Further, the
The
As described above, the

As a specific configuration of the
As shown in FIG. 5, the
