Description
(1) ±α1=±λ/p
Claims (14)
- 空間的に変調された光波を用いて、観察者の目の前方に、3次元シーンの光学的外観に適合する光点を再構成するホログラフィ投影システムであって、
−光波を連続的に変調する、別個に制御可能な複数の変調セルを有する空間光変調手段と、
−変調された前記光波を光学的に変換して、フーリエ平面において変調された光波のフーリエスペクトルを実現するフーリエ変換手段と、
−ディスプレイスクリーンと、
を備え、
−前記変調セルの各々は、変調器表面上の制御可能な回折格子であり、位相ホログラムの内容により回折格子振幅に設定され、これにより光波を位相変調し、
−光学的拡大手段は、単一の選択された回折次数の前記光波から分離手段により排他的に分離された、前記光波の光部分を拡大し、
−前記ディスプレイスクリーンは、集束され、分離され、変調された光波が、観察者の各目の位置の前方の可視領域から広がる再構成空間であって、前記ディスプレイスクリーンの手前の空間、又は前記ディスプレイスクリーンの手前と後方との両方の空間を含む再構成空間の中の、当該目の位置の前方にシーンを再構成するような、集束光学装置である
ことを特徴とするホログラフィ投影システム。 - 可動マイクロミラー面である別個に制御可能な変調セルであって、1以上の制御回路で集積的に形成された変調セルを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。
- 前記ディスプレイスクリーンは凹面レンズであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。
- 前記分離手段と前記光学的拡大手段とは、前記フーリエ変換手段のフーリエ平面の近傍に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。
- 前記分離手段は、前記選択された回折次数の前記変調された光波を目の位置に対して排他的に送信する、1以上のアパーチャ出口を有するアパーチャマスクであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。
- 前記アパーチャマスクの前記アパーチャ出口の画像が前記目の位置で観察可能であるように設計されたことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。
- 前記変調器表面に対して実質的に垂直に設けられた光軸を有し、
前記変調された光波が前記光軸に沿って伝播するように、干渉を生成可能な光が前記マイクロミラー面を照明する
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。 - 前記マイクロミラー面を垂直に照明するために、前記光軸上に設けられた半透過型傾斜ミラーを有し、
前記ミラーは、前記分離された回折次数の光路中に存在する全ての光をカバーする面領域を少なくとも有する
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。 - 電気機械的に移動した前記マイクロミラー面は、実質的に平坦であり、前記光波の伝播方向に対して垂直に移動していることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。
- 前記フーリエ変換手段は、前記空間光変調手段の近傍に設けられた集束レンズであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。
- 前記空間光変調手段は、光学的に直列に配置された2つの空間格子光変調器であって、これらが共同して連続的な位相変調を実現する空間格子光変調器を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。
- 前記空間格子光変調器は互いに面し、
第1の空間格子光変調器を前記第2の空間格子光変調器に対して画像形成するように、投影手段が設けられる
ことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。 - 半透過型傾斜ミラーを用いて、前記2つの空間格子光変調器により変調された前記光波が前記光学的拡大手段に対して分離されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。
- 前記フーリエ変換手段が前記第2の空間格子光変調器の近傍に設けられ、これにより前記位相ホログラムが、前記第2の半透過型傾斜ミラーの後方に存在するフーリエ平面内に光学的に変換され、光伝播の方向で観察されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のホログラフィ投影システム。
