Description
本出願は、2008年1月15日出願の米国特許出願第61/011,331号に基づく出願日遡及の特典を請求するものであり、同出願は参照によりその全体を本願明細書に取り込むものとする。
発明の分野
ここに説明するのは、双眼視撮像データを用いて関心領域を3D治療座標系内で基準位置に整合させ、単眼視撮像データを用いて3D治療座標系内での関心領域の整合を監視し補正する方法ならびにシステムである。下記の説明では、本発明の実施形態の完全な理解を提供するため、例えば具体的な構成要素やデバイスや方法等の数多くの具体的細部を説明する。しかしながら、本発明の実施形態を実施する上でこれらの具体的細部が採用されるとは限らないことは当業者には明らかとなろう。他の例では、本発明の実施形態を不要に曖昧にすることを回避すべく、周知の材料や方法を詳細に説明はしない。

Claims (13)
- 画像誘導放射線加療システム用の方法であって、前記画像誘導放射線加療システムが、関心領域の位置を位置決めする位置決めシステム、関心領域の双眼視撮像を取得するよう構成した撮像システム、及び前記位置決めシステム及び前記撮像システムを制御するためのデジタル処理システムから成り、前記デジタル処理システムが、
双眼視撮像データと1つ以上の基準画像と見当合わせすることに基づいて、関心領域を3次元治療室座標系内で基準位置に整合させ、
単一の撮像線源によって発生された単眼視撮像データを用いて3次元治療室座標系内での関心領域の整合を監視し、
単眼視撮像データを用いて3次元治療室座標系内での関心領域の不整合を検出し、
単眼視撮像データを用いて検出された不整合が、単眼視撮像データを用いて修正することができるか否かを決定する、
ことを含む、方法。 - 前記単眼視撮像データ用いて検出された不整合が所定の値を越える場合に、双眼視撮像データを取得し、
該双眼視撮像データを用いて3次元治療室座標系内での関心領域を再整合するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記不整合が所定の値を越えない場合、前記単眼視撮像データを用いて前記3次元治療室座標系内で前記関心領域を再整合できるか判別するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記単眼視撮像データを用いて前記3次元治療室座標系内で前記関心領域を再整合させるステップをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記双眼視撮像データが2次元投影画像から成り、
前記関心領域を前記基準位置に整合させるステップは、
2以上の投影において、前記関心領域の第1の2次元投影画像を取得するステップと、
前記2以上の投影における前記関心領域の前記第1の2次元投影画像を前記2以上の投影における前記関心領域の2次元基準画像に見当合わせするステップで、前記関心領域の前記2次元基準画像を前記関心領域の3次元スキャンデータの3次元変換から導出するステップとを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記見当合わせステップは、
前記2以上の投影のそれぞれにおける前記第1の2次元投影画像を前記2以上の投影における前記2次元基準画像と比較するステップと、
前記2以上の投影のそれぞれにおける前記第1の2次元投影画像と前記2以上の投影における選択された2次元基準画像との間の第1の類似度を割り出すステップと、
前記関心領域の座標系と前記第1の類似度を最大化する前記関心領域の前記3次元スキャンデータの座標系との間の第1の3次元変換を見出すステップで、前記第1の3次元変換が前記関心領域の前記座標系内の3次元画素を前記関心領域の前記3次元スキャンデータの前記座標系内の対応する3次元画素へ写像するステップとを含む、請求項5に記載の方法。 - 前記基準位置を用いて前記関心領域を整合させるステップは、前記第1の3次元変換の逆変換を通じて前記関心領域を動かすステップと、放射線治療線源を位置決めして前記第1の3次元変換を補償するステップのうちの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記3次元治療室座標系内での前記関心領域の前記整合の監視ステップは、
前記2以上の投影の1つにおいて前記関心領域の第2の2次元投影画像を取得するステップと、
前記第2の2次元投影画像と前記2以上の投影の前記1つにおける前記関心領域の選択された第2の2次元投影画像との間の第2の類似度を決定するステップとを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記3次元治療室座標系内での前記関心領域の前記整合の監視ステップは、
前記2以上の投影の1つにおいて前記関心領域の第2の2次元投影画像を取得するステップと、
前記第2の2次元投影画像と前記2以上の投影の前記1つにおける前記関心領域の第1の2次元投影画像との間の第2の類似度を決定するステップとを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 画像誘導放射線加療システムであって、
関心領域を位置決めする位置決めシステムと、
前記関心領域の双眼視画像を取得するよう構成した撮像システムと、
前記撮像システムと前記位置決めシステムとを制御するデジタル処理システムで、
双眼視撮像データと1つ以上の基準画像と見当合わせすることに基づいて、双眼視撮像データを用いて前記関心領域を3次元治療座標系内で基準位置に整合させ、前記基準画像は3次元治療前診断撮像データから導出されたデジタル再生放射線像から成り、
単一の撮像線源によって発生された単眼視撮像データを用いて前記3次元治療座標系内での前記関心領域の整合を監視し、
単眼視撮像データを用いて3次元治療室座標系内での関心領域の不整合を検出し、
単眼視撮像データを用いて検出された不整合が、単眼視撮像データを用いて修正することができるか否かを決定し、
単眼視撮像データを用いて検出された不整合が、単眼視撮像データを用いて修正することができる場合に、前記放射線治療を自動的に修正する構成としたデジタル処理システムとを備える、加療システム。 - 前記デジタル処理システムはさらに、前記不整合が変位閾値を越える場合に、双眼視撮像データを取得し、該双眼視撮像データを用いて3次元治療室座標系内での関心領域を再整合するよう構成した、請求項10に記載の加療システム。
- 前記位置決めシステムは、5以上の自由度を有するロボット式位置決めシステムを含む、請求項10に記載の加療システム。
- 前記デジタル処理システムにより制御される放射線治療線源をさらに備え、前記デジタル処理システムを、前記単眼視撮像データを用い、前記放射線治療線源を位置決めして前記関心領域の前記不整合を補償する構成とした、請求項10に記載の加療システム。
